Hired a car for a weeks holiday. Needed a 7 seater. Car was exactly as described. Great to have a choice of exact car. Car was clean and ready to go. Great service from Jacob from booking to collection. Would highly recommend to anybody looking to hire a car.

well I needed the car for one day. didn't book in advance, no deposit. Met Jacob and Taylor who provided the BEST service I ever had regarding car rentals. straight contract, easily explained and the car was ready to go. I felt that their service was to genually help us out. great work , very happy with the service and keep it up.

Following the theft if my car i went to VW for a rental. Met Jacob, what a professional and polite young man. Nothing was to much trouble, the rental process was smooth and the car I was provided excellent. Thankfully I didn't need the rental for the period I anticipated so returned it early. Again met Jacob and again a smooth process, refund and a lift to the garage to collect my new car. Would recommend VW rental 100% and if you are lucky enough to have Jacob deal with you there will be no problems and a smooth transaction . Thank you

On a personal note I hired a car out as my car was being repaired, I had issues with the garage that was repairing my car which in the end took over 5 weeks to resolve. VW were excellent,I was able to extend my hire every week for up to 5 weeks with no problems,and that was all down to one Individual who works at the Solihull branch and his name is Jacob. A fantastic worker for VW and I hope they look after him and appreciate him, because I certainly do. If you want good honest service in hiring a car please go and see Jacob.The car I had was an automatic Polo, a brilliant car. Also I would like to say the ladies who work in reception at the front were amazingly helpful, fantastic at their jobs.

My wife and I rented a car at VWFS Solihull and the experience has been superb! Jacob was so friendly and welcoming throughout the whole process and made the whole rental procedure perfect and smooth!

As a walk-in customer, Ben sorted me out quickly and professionally. Car was nice and clean.
Returning the vehicle was also smooth and quick with Ben again and he was nice enough to drop me home.
Deposit was back in my bank within a few days also.

Amazing service provided by Ben! He was in contact with myself before the hire started to ensure all boxes were ticked and upon arrival at Solihull the checkout took a matter of minutes.

Needed a last minute rental for a family holiday. Chose a Skoda Superb estate which turned out to be virtually brand new. Perfect service from collection to return and even refunded me 2 days rental as we returned from our holiday a couple of days early.

Dylan and his team were super helpful and friendly when I had to take my car in for technical support. It’s a pleasure to deal with them.

Jacob and his team are always a pleasure to work with.
The vehicles are low mileage and well presented. Collection is easy and the car is ready for pickup in the car park adjacent to the dealership.
Returning the vehicle is quick and easy too. A check is made to make sure that it isn’t damaged and away you go to continue your own day.
I would honestly recommend this dealer to hire your car from. They have a range to suit your needs and are great to do business with.

Why don’t all car manufacturers hire cars?
It makes it so much easier to test drive the car and get the car you want every time.

I hired a Golf and found the booking process quite simple, but that said, I hadn’t booked the additional CDW waiver when I thought I had and also, I was convinced I’d booked the car for 5 days, with a return time of 2pm.

It turns out I hadn’t booked the extra CDW cover and the return time was 8:30.

Ben from VW called at 10:30am on my final day of rental as he’d been expecting the car back, but was very accommodating when I explained my error.

Also I returned the car and it was found that there were marks on the front wing. I was certain that I hadn’t hit anything, but clearly somebody else had been careless parking.

Ben showed me the damage, which surprised me, but because VW get preferential repair costs, the damage was less than £40.

The only criticism I have is that although the exterior of the car was clean, the inside of the windscreen was filthy, meaning that when driving into the sunshine, it was difficult to see through.

Other than that, everything was better than a typical hire company - including the price.

I contacted Ben Young at Volkswagen Rent-a-Car-Solihull, as we had a project to Scan the Volkswagen Golf for a project for Loughborough University.

From the moment I contacted Ben, he was brilliant in arranging for the car to be delivered to the site in Bromsgrove and then after the project was finished, arranging collection as well.

This was not just a standard rental, and we were really pleased with the service provided and at a reasonable cost. Thanks Ben
