Excellent service from this company. Delivery was made on the day promised, with time slot advised the night before. Two lovely delivery men even took my bedroom furniture upstairs. Beautiful furniture, very well packed. Highly recommend.

This experience deserves no star rating at all. Unfortunately, most platforms do not allow this, but even one star feels too generous.
I ordered a sideboard cupboard from Robert Dyas, unaware at the time of who their delivery provider was. Had I known, I would not have placed the order.
The delivery driver contacted me three days in advance to confirm the delivery day, but no time slot was provided until the day before delivery. I was then given a very narrow time window of 7:30–8:00am, with the driver stating I was second on the list. I explained that I live two hours away from the property and that even by taking the first train, I would only arrive at around 8:00am. I had already taken the day off work and explained that rescheduling would be extremely difficult. I was told there was no flexibility.
I contacted the delivery office directly and received the same response — no flexibility and no willingness to help. I was even told the order could be cancelled, despite being a Robert Dyas customer. When I contacted Robert Dyas, they escalated the issue to the supplier, who confirmed they had moved me to third on the delivery list to accommodate an 8:00am arrival.
The following morning, I even arrived at the property at 7:30am as original agreed, only to receive an email stating that the delivery had failed. When I challenged this, I was told the delivery had been cancelled entirely based on a previous conversation, as the internal update confirming the revised delivery order had not been passed on. I was extremely distressed by this, the situation was completely avoidable.
Robert Dyas then advised that they had no control over the supplier’s logistics. However, delivery is part of their service, and customers should not be expected to manage failures between retailers and their suppliers. Apology was offered, and trying to rearrange delivery (for example, a weekend or evening slot), meaning I would have had to take more time off work.
Out of sheer frustration, I cancelled the order and requested a refund. After reading other reviews, it is clear this is not an isolated issue — there is a pattern of poor delivery management and no visible improvement. This is a red flag for any business.
I will not order from Robert Dyas again while this delivery company is used, and I will avoid other retailers working with the same provider. This experience caused unnecessary stress and showed a complete lack of customer care

Tried to book a wardrobe online but it or I didn't work, so phoned and they done the booking for me. Delivery came a day early and it was delivered safely.

Excellent service.
All items taken upstairs, assembled and rubbish taken away.
Will definitely use again.

The item was ready made, so no
“ faffing” to put things together yourself.
It is sturdily made and was delivered by two very helpful guys who unwrapped it and placed it in situ.
It’s a perfect size and the finish is good quality .I am delighted with my purchase and would certainly use this company again.

I am absolutely delighted with the furniture I received today.
Just one thing - in the reviews I read before I bought it, someone had mentioned the blue plastic on the drawers, and if I hadn’t read that I would have thought that I had been given blue painted drawers instead of white. The blue plastic has certainly protected the lovely finish on the drawers but I think perhaps a small label on the plastic would give reassurance that it is there for protection and can be removed.

Informed when they were 30 minutes away, two lovely guys quickly delivered my item to where I requested. Excellent service!

The furniture was promised in 10 days. It arrived in 10 days. Notified of 2 hour time slot day before. Furniture came well packed and protected . Delivery men were excellent. They unpacked and finished assembly of furniture . Good quality reasonably priced Lisbon bedroom furniture. I had 3 wardrobes, 2 x 4 drawer chests and 1 x 3 drawer chest. It looks great ! Well finished and great value for money. Well done ! These are made in Wales so supporting our British workers.

Fabulous 5 stars for the two guys that delivered heavy furniture up winding stairs without fuss. Shoes off and on at the door 6 times, without rancour and greatly appreciated by us.
Nothing was too much trouble. Both very personable and friendly.
Would recommend delivery company in a heartbeat.
