They are scammers. I also fell into this scam !!
Unfortunately I did not notice these reviews before!!!

I ordered my plastic card last November 2020 and, confident of receiving it, I paid just under 8,000 euros into my Weststein account !!!!
The card has NEVER arrived and the account does NOT allow me to move MY money !!!
For months I have been soliciting the return of funds or the settlement of account operations.
Initially a certain Kate replied to me asking for documents on the origin of the funds, my identity documents, a selfie of me etc. making me lose a few days (since she already had my documents) then she disappeared !!!!!
I have no longer received any response to the mails, to the continuous reminders and complaints that I have sent to all the various departments of Weststein according to the contacts found on the website.
But this is nothing. Beyond the insult: think that every month they charge me more than 20 euros with the reason "fee for inactivity of the account". Incredible. A fraud!!! They took my money !!!!!
I have already started reporting the scam to the various online reporting sites today:

I will also arrange to appoint a lawyer for all appropriate actions against these thieves !!
Stay away and report !!!!

UPDATE 20/09/21
I checked a reply email in the SPAM box on 17/09/21 from a certain Kate O (I do not indicate the full surname even if I fear it is a false name) after countless reminders and in response to an email from my last 29/07 / 21 !!!! What do you call this? A customer service ??? Do you know what they asked me ??? The same proof funds I had already sent multiple times. Obviously again and promptly forwarded it with a full refund request.

But there are two surprises:

1) The first is that TODAY this Mark also appears in the context of the email interactions and asks me, you know what? Still the SAME PROOF OF PROVENANCE OF FUNDS (of the payment of almost 8,000 euros made on 26/11/20 and never able to use !!!!) already sent to him just yesterday, sent back today to the colleague, as well as to further selfies and a second identity document. Obviously the requested documents are sensitive and this request I have already turned to the authorities with whom I am in contact and with whom I am interacting to monitor the epilogue of this HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
I am afraid that my documents could be used for criminal purposes.

2) They dared to question the authenticity of my Trustpilot review. Obviously I turned everything to Trustpilot in order to have evidence of the veracity of what I am writing !!!!

In any case, I gave them until tomorrow 21/09/21 to make my full refund! We'll see. In case I will update the review here.

ONLY ONE THING is certain. Up to now my funds have been unduly withheld by blocking my operations under the pretext of "transaction monitoring" only to charge FEE FOR ACCOUNT INACTIVITY.
As on the other hand it has happened to many customers as can be seen in the review thread here.

Do you know what this is called? SCAM TO THE DAMAGES OF A CONSUMER.

At the moment (03:00 pm on 21/09/21) I have not yet received any feedback regarding the return of my funds.

Today I received the credit for the transfer of the funds resulting from the balance, obviously net of a few hundred euros of unjustified commissions that I consider "stolen". Unfortunately, it is the price I have to pay for a wrong choice. Anyway I am happy to have finished this agony (after an intense battle of months of emails), but absolutely dissatisfied with the service. Highly not recommended!

I’ve been using their services for sometime and was really happy with the card but now I am no longer able to use my card to make payments of transfers, so I lost access to my money whenever I try to make a transaction I see « transaction monitoring ». They just stole my money and I cannot use it

Virtual card option is great, I recommend using WestStein services.

I have deposited using my credit card, the payment was deducted but the amount didn't show up on my Weststein account. I contacted Weststein and gave the my informations but i haven't received any answer.

EDIT : They just decided to close my account after this review. How can they operate as a bank if they just decide to close peoples accounts without providing any explanation and without giving them access to their money. AVOID AT ALL COST, SCAM PEOPLE

Scammers and thieves. I don't know how such institutions are allowed to operate. Within 2 hours of my first deposit I had already lost 50 % in charges which according to them were an "error and system charged card fee as per old pricing list". The minute you deposit your money they immediately pounce on it and start sucking it in with imaginary charges. DON'T TRUST THEM ........ SCAMMERS!!

To send my agricultural products, I easily receive my funds through WestStein. Normally I have three real bank accounts here in Poland. However, I cannot quickly settle my operations. But for a year that I've been with WestStein everything has been going well. It is very quick and easy to log into the online session And also your money is safe.

Always team provides best support and now using it over a tear with no issues at all . Thanks team

I'M HARRY BLOKZIJL!!!! ..Yesterday i've received respons from the ombudsman that these fraud westein company have sent me to, its almost 2 months ago since my account got blocked with 22.000 euro on it, and still transaction monitoring but meanwhile monthly fees are charging, i've send the information what the ombudsman has asked for so i wil see what they are gonna do now, every step i wil posted here, somebody has to stop this fraud company!!!!!

After complaining via Trustpilot about poor service they have contacted me immediately by mail (Max). Finally he took care of it and card has been re-activated within 2 hours. Thanks a lot to Max . Nevertheless customer service should react faster by mail and shall not wait until client is writing negative comments. Finally I am happy now after 3 days . Please Weststein work on your customer service by mail and reachability via phone . Would decrease the bad rating and comments here .

What the fck the ombudsman has to do with my funds on my account...you people are fulll off b#llsh#t...i've send a email to the ombudsman that u give me with all the screenshots of my account and money and where the money came from and the emails that u have send to me and also screenshots from the chat where i'm trying to contact u for days without no answer...i will put so much dirt on your company name....watch me!!!! I've registered and got their card a while ago. For free. Never paid a penny. Never used either. Just held on to the card just in case.

Today, they sent me a letter demanding to pay the negative balance. Interestingly, they've start charging fees in November 2019.

I never agreed to any fees. And this is very typical behavior in Latvia when that start charging you fees without notifying you.

A typical Latvian scam. And typical Latvian customer support characterized by the classical Latvian moto: "The client is always wrong".

Stay away. Let them burn in hell. Based on all the signs, they will soon go bankrupt anyway.

So this Weststein just tried to report my review as untruthful. Well, my Weststein MasterCard no. is 5304469501221765 issued 07/18 and expiring 07/12 with CVV code 399. I would post a picture. That is what they do -- persecute users instead of doing honest business.
