I am delighted with my new kitchen, designed by Jenny and fitted by Dean, from Wickes’ Bicester store.
Jenny’s design made excellent use of the confined space available, and her guidance and recommendations for colour matching my choice of units with the existing flooring and work surfaces, invaluable.
She has an impressive knowledge of the products available.
Jenny has a pleasant, amenable character with which I felt at ease and her patience was much appreciated and reassuring, as I was confused and indecisive, having not long moved house.
Dean, the fitter, surveyed the kitchen to confirm the design was workable, leaving me to feel absolutely confident after discussing his survey that it would all work.
His estimate of the time the job would take was accurate.
He has an excellent work ethic, is reliable, thorough and skilled; nothing was too much trouble and once again, he showed patience and understanding.
Dean organised the gas fitter and electrician, both parties, capable, trustworthy and reliable.
Wickes arranged suitable delivery times, keeping me well informed of progress and sent regular reminders. Customer aftercare was also very thorough.

I was waiting whole day for delivery get text message from city link stuff will be deliver 11 to 15:00 ,I was wait for delivery till 20:00 no one comes around business, I have CCTV cam outside of my business and next door is witness as well they are failed to tell me time for delivery driver missed us ,which is absolutely driver lies to store no one there for receive delivery , it’s cost me £450 Carpanter come to fix decking but because of that dodgy driver.strongly suggest think before online order.

With Guido, you not only have an excellent professional but also the most delightful person - friendly, and one that goes the extra mile. It was worth us travelling all the way to Bicester (there are other Wickes branches closer to us).
Our kitchen experience was so lovely, we immediately booked another appointment to ask him to design our 3 bathrooms. We could not recommend him enough!

I went to purchase some block paving yesterday and could not see a suitable trolley to use and went in and asked if they still had the small trolley not the big ones for building materials and heavy goods. The reply was they are outside and I looked blank as I hadn’t seen any and again they are outside. I went out and looked again and found the smaller trolleys surrounded by the very large heavy ones, which I had to move them all so I could pull out a small one out. I returned today to complete the rest of my purchase and had to do exactly the same procedure before I could complete my purchase. As I am a lady of 75 these large trolley are too heavy for me to lug about in order to buy from you. The problem could be easily remedied if the small trolley are kept in the covered bay to the outside of the store. This was your Bicester store.

Excellent review, the last few occasions ive had two very helpful members of staff help me. One young gentleman was call Lio who helped bring tiles out to my car as i had a foot injury and stack my boot. I also had a older gentleman who helped me purchase some top soil that the bags were split.

Pointless home design appointment. I wanted my downstairs cloakroom refurbished. But as soon as the “designer” looked at it he stopped me and said there was no point as it was too small a job and Wickes would charge thousands to do it. He wasn’t capable or willing to look behind the toilet ( only a small bit of wood sitting over the back box at the back of the loo) to assess the existing pipe work as he said a plumber would be required for that. I despair. At the very least I thought he might have some small amount plumbing knowledge. If I was having it done as part of a larger job ie upstairs bathroom they would consider it. How the greedy sharks survive eh!?
As an after nite, I might have saved the wasted time if someone had contacted me before the appointment as per the email info. I could have explained what I wanted done. Anyway that will be the only time I encounter Wickes design service. My quest for some cloakroom refurbishment help continues.

I have just visited Wickes in Bicester and unfortunately I was served by a lady who was either naturally rude, unhelpful, dismissive and made me feel that I wished I had not bothered to enter the store or spend my money with them. OR was she just having an bad day. I tried to phone customer service to inform them of the service I just received but..... On hold, for 15 mins. Insisting that despite delivering to the local many times before was now unable to. Was serving on till 2 at 13.07

Went into the Bicester branch of Wickes to just have a look at the kitchen, because of Guideo Raffaelli one of their kitchen planners I ended up buying one there and then! He was absolutely brilliant with the planning of my kitchen and advice etc. Once he had done his ‘bit’ he passed me on to Wickes sales experience team. Unfortunately I had a few problems with them regarding the delivery , even though I had made several calls to them . On the date the whole kitchen was supposed to be delivered only the dishwasher arrived! Nothing else was booked to come! Eventually it got sorted and the kitchen arrived a few days after.
Wickes also arranged the fitting of the kitchen, they used a company called Red Dragon. I cannot fault them! The fitters , Georgian and Theodore ( carpenters) were perfectionist. the electricians, plasterers, decorator, plumber and the gas guys were all first class as well. Simon who owns the company Red Dragon was brilliant especially with communication, he was always available at the end of the phone if I had any questions or queries. He actually physically came and checked in on the trades and the progress of my kitchen several times.
I am really really pleased with my new kitchen- the quality, design etc
The only reason I didn’t give a 5 star rating for my overall experience was due to the ‘middle man’ the sales experience team and all the issues I had with the delivery. They were polite and friendly though!

I've had an extremely bad experience with a bathroom installation. Their designer got the measurements wrong by so much that I had to fork out nearly £300 for more tiles during the installation. Other parts were ordered incorrectly which meant the installation took 4 weeks instead of 2 because of waiting for correct parts. My complaints have fallen on deaf ears. The store manager has ignored me for weeks and when I did finally speak to her, she was very rude. Customer Services are a joke and keep passing me back to the store. I'm not done with this.

This is the response I got from Wickes Customer Centre:
"I've had a message from customer services who have said you contacted them as the store are not willing to compensate for anything. Unfortunately as the issues you raised arose from a complaint about the designer it would be their decision. I can only advise seeking 3rd party advice if you are unhappy with their decision. "
