Wickes Bournemouth were brilliant, Mark James designed the kitchen beautifully and Nigel Stevens did an immaculate job of fitting the kitchen. We are extremely happy with the level of service and professionalism we received throughout the process. Thank you so much.

Justin Burns our kitchen designer has made the whole experience great. I have recommended Wickes and Justin now to quite a few of my friends. There were a few teething problems, nothing major but Justin sorted everything out without delay. The kitchen is great quality and I'm extremely happy with my new kitchen.

Mark James at the Bournemouth store provided excellent guidance and support throughout the design and build of my new kitchen, working alongside Wayne Sharkey who managed the fitting, plumbing, tiling and flooring. Thank you so much to both of you for an excellent result and stress free experience! I highly recommend Wickes Bournemouth and this great team! :)

Tom in the Bournemouth store designed our new bathroom. He made the whole experience easy and stress free. The first time we met Tom he fully understood our needs and he designed a bathroom that would work best for us.

A really good experience from design through to installation. Mark James designer and Wayne Sharkey installer from Bournemouth Wickes were recommended by some good friends who were impressed with the service they had received. Mark listened to our specific needs and optimised the designed around the appliances we wanted to keep and made full use of the space available. Wayne managed the plumber, electrician and plasterer seamlessly and discussed little tweaks on the design to improve the use of space.

Our experience with Wickes Bournemouth and in particular Tom Burt could not have been any better. Excellent service. Tom was so helpful and gave us ideas we hadn’t thought of. Our kitchen would not have been what it is without Tom’s help.
5 stars for sure. Thank you so so much. We know it wasn’t an easy task we gave you but you came through with true professionalism and outstanding help every step of the way.

From start to finish we had a good experience at Wickes for our kitchen. Planning went smoothly and nothing was too much trouble. We had to wait a few months before things got started but we were very fortunate to have Jason to fit our beautiful kitchen. . Could not fault his workmanship. There was not one thing we weren't happy with so thank you for our superb kitchen . ......also would like to mention Martin who delivered our kitchen. It was a hot sunny day and he had an agency worker with him and to be honest wasn't much help to him at all . He brought mostly everything in all by himself .

What a joke this store is!

Ah, Wickes. A trusted name in DIY—assuming your idea of DIY includes chasing down your own deliveries.

I recently ordered a fairly straight forward load of sand and cement. You know, the kind of thing one might need on time for a building project. Delivery was scheduled for Wednesday. Instead, I got a delightful voice message: “I’m too late and can’t deliver… we may try Saturday..

I rang the local branch, and to be fair, the guy, Lewis, did make an effort to get things back on track. He chased it up, and I even got a confirmation text saying it would be delivered Friday. Progress! Or so I thought. Because Friday came and went—no sand, no cement, j

Now I’m being told Monday. Of course, it’s a bank holiday, so let’s be honest—it’ll be Tuesday. Maybe. Possibly. Depending on whether Wincanton (Wickes’ apparently unmanageable delivery partner) feels up to it.

A previous order arrived in four separated deliveries. Why? Who knows!

To sum up: Wickes stores = is fine. Delivery service = pure rubbish.

I did speak to customer service but it’s been 3 days and I’ve only had an automated response to say their very busy so I’ve turned to trustpilot

Cashier was not interested in serving us. Too busy chatting to her colleague. Started talking on her headset when she did serve us and tossed the receipt at me without any words spoken.

Wasn't delivered on day specified was given a time slot of between 10am and 4pm,so waited in all day till I was called at 3pm to be told it's not coming. The new slot 5 days later was given a time slot of 1pm till 6pm. I'm in the gym at 9am when I'm called by the driver to say he's 10 minutes away. I ordered sand and cement and MOT type 1 (had enough big stones to build a stone wall) won't be using them again.

Ordered 3 oak Geneva doors. Ordered same doors previously used - no issues.

Started to install hinges and hardware. Noticed on one door the oak vinyl is delaminated from the door. Other 2 were fine.

Contact customer service, took days to respond. Online said they couldn't help, they would refer to Bournemouth store. And they would call. They never called.
Re-raised the issue via the contact form online. Very slow replies, 1 question from the agent, immediate reply waiting 2 days for their next question. Exhausting.

Finally had a message to say because the door has been worked on (hinge grooves) they can't accept return here's a 20% voucher.... their policy specifically says if arrived damage/a fault develops in 30 days no questions return and replacement.

I can't imagine buying anything large I.e. kitchen with these people.

I just want a damaged £90 door replaced

The service i have received has been exceptional for my new kitchen. Nothing has been too much trouble and they really understood what i wanted. They came up with great ideas and had fabulous knowledge of there products

Wickes Bournemouth Great service In the showroom

I went to Wickes to purchase bits to decorate the bedrooms. They had everything I needed store was in great condition and easy to locate the items I needed. Colleagues that were working on the tills were great and felt very welcoming. Will definitely will be returning for future projects

Popped in to Wickes in Bournemouth early this morning to Grab a few bits and the shop was looking great and the service was quick and simple.

After a massive hoo haa not receiving an order from another company we decided to use click and collect get what we needed from here and going to try and get refund from the other place although we've been trying for a week, easy process, managed to get the exact same products that the other place failed to deliver in a week (nxt day delivery ) and collected it within 30 mins ,should have come to wickes in the 1st place and saved ourselves a week of endless emails to another company and getting nowhere, I will also add we shop at wickes alot usually paint and over the years they're products including paint have greatly improved, and we've started getting other bits from here now too ,thanks for the speedy process, we will be back soon 😀

Justin, the design consultant was extremely helpful and patient. I dithered, but he didn’t make me feel awkward at all. Justin took time to explain the way the kitchen will look. I am very grateful to him. Thank you

Great experience with Mark James who helped plan my kitchen from start to finish as well as visit my flat to check measurements. He was flexible, patient, knowledgeable and from just two appointments, I have an affordable, stylish kitchen booked in. Would highly recommend.

We had three companies quote for our new kitchen and decided that Wickes offered the colour and best guarantees that we wanted.We visited the Bournemouth store and Jane set up a home visit with designer Mark James who listened to our requests and also gave us some really useful guidance. After producing and agreeing the design and quotes WE decided to make substantial changes. Mark was amazing he redesigned and re quoted really quickly and managed to offer two new alternatives and we now have a beautiful kitchen which looks wonderful. Thanks Mark for your expertise and patience! We were so impressed he has also designed our new ensuite. He also recommended Crafted Carpentry for the installation, Pete, Carl and the team were superb there was a huge amount of restructuring to do they arrived early each day and guided us through each step they really are professional and always cleaned before they left. Once again thanks to all and would thoroughly recommend you to anyone thinking of a new kitchen.
