Very helpful staff. Particularly Louise who went above and beyond to help me set up my purchase.

I popped into Wickes Bracknell to look for a specific paint which I couldn't seem to locate. Spotted an employee close nearby and decided to ask for help, Wasn't expecting a good outcome - past experiences have been disappointing. However I have left a very satisfied customer since this employee, Stan I believe, went above and beyond to find exactly what I was looking for even though it even took him some time to locate. He was friendly and approachable - a really pleasant surprise.

I wrote on a piece of paper, please put bags of soil and bark, near the back gate..Had 7 heavy lots..
They not only did that, but carried them near my flower beds..
I couldnt get to the door to say thankyou.Great service as always..

I use Wickes Bracknell on a regular basis including large click and collect from the yard where they are always happy to forklift the good on the trailer for me the service is always brilliant especially from Ian who is extremely helpful and knows me by name now and normal has already found my order on the system by the time I'm at the till so I only need the collection pin that get sent to you and the lad in the yard I think his name was Owen was excellent on the forklift and very good at knowing how to load the weight on the trailer to the point I didn't have to even say where I wanted things positioned with the heaviest goods over the axial and lighter good to the ends

Stan has always been very helpful when I’m in your local Bracknell branch, he is first to show or to discuss products that I might need and has a very knowledgeable understanding of what my requirements are always kind and polite, I work for the local Council so I am in most weeks buying equipment, materials and Stan is always there to help and all the other staff are very helpful and friendly too

My 87 year old mother has had no kitchen tap for 5 weeks. The fitter cannot complete the kitchen due to parts which are missing. This is completely unacceptable. Had we known the parts were unavailable in January when it was ordered we would have gone elsewhere. It's easy to take £20,000 of someone's money but
there should be some recourse. Customer service is useless. It's so disappointing that the company has become so bad. Wickes Bracknell have been no help.

Exchanged a product and the one I wanted was out of stock , it was a busy time however assistant Louise was so helpful genuinely wanting to help me ..can’t thank her enough . Proper customer service 👍

Ordered some fence panels, selected a date and waited and waited. They never arrived. Spoke to customer services and the lack of care was a thing! Didn't care a huge amount that I wanted to take my business elsewhere. No real solution except the store will call you. Bizarre way to run a business!

Contacted customer service, was promised a call but ended up calling the store directly.
No one called. Take your business elsewhere unless you have time to wait at home for a delivery that may or may not arrive.

We've recently had our bathroom and a separate W/C transformed by Wickes and have been so impressed with all elements of the process.
Being typical of a 60's built house, our toilet was separate and adjacent to the bathroom
I popped into the Bracknell Wickes by chance really and spoke with Courtney Bygrave. Courtney was extremely helpful, patient with the things we were thinking of having done. Mainly because we were unsure of what does/doesn't get done as part of the refit. There was no hard selling, Courtney explained how the process worked and given we wanted a toilet put into the
bathroom and a sink put into the W/C we weren't too sure if this was possible. It also involved the removal of a built in (brick walls) cupboard within the bathroom that used to house the water tank (we'd converted to a combi boiler) and was now more of a drab looking airing cupboard.
We arranged a home visit. Courtney clearly knows her stuff, providing options and locations of sink/bath/toilet maximising the space we had.
Soon after, Courtney drew up the plans of the positioning of all units with what we had chosen. This helped give us an accurate understanding of what it would look like with the units/tiles/flooring once complete. Again, there was no hard sell, even if we decided not to go ahead, this wouldn't have cost a penny. We were so impressed with it all, we started the process.
The fitter - Remi popped by too just to make sure of the layout of existing pipes etc.
The work started in late January, Remi and his son Oscar worked tirelessly throughout.
I'm in awe of their capabilities and skill. Nothing was an issue for Remi, his favourite saying was 'anything is possible'.
We discussed some alternatives as he was doing the work which involved levelling the flooring, moving pipework, moving a radiator, creating a window ledge/sill for both the bathroom and W/C as there weren't any previously, insulating sections of the wall, downlights, air vent, the list goes on.
Our W/C walls needed replastering, the toilet needed to be moved over a few inches to cater for the compact sink unit, bearing in mind there wasn't the pipework for a sink previously.
The whole process from start to finish was straight forward, professional and always felt if there were any unforeseeable issues they could be rectified comfortably via Remi or Courtney. The customer services team who kept us posted with delivery of the items were also very helpful and informative.
Our next project is a kitchen refit with some variations such as removing a wall and having seen the whole process with our bathroom and W/C we know our intentions can be done.
We will definitely go through Wickes but specifically with Courtney and request Remi as our fitter.

The PTA wanted to be able to support the children by providing them with a Buddy Bench through a donation from a local organisation and thanks to Wickes, we have been able to do this.
The Buddy Bench has been placed within the school playground in a quiet area and is where children can go when they feel they need to talk to someone but may be too sad to approach anyone.
If a child is sitting on their own on the 'Buddy Bench' then another child can go up to them and ask them how they are feeling and if they want to talk about it or simply to just play. The Buddy Bench is to let the children know they should never feel alone and they will always have a buddy to talk to.
The bench will give children the opportunity of letting others know they need someone to talk to but may be too sad or shy to approach someone. It will help the children learn that seeking help is not a sign of weakness.
This Buddy Bench will allow the children to know that they have a safe space which they can go to.
The Buddy Bench will help children feel less lonely and provides that safe space to show that they want to be included or to talk about feelings. They can also help children develop social skills, empathy, and leadership skills.
The Buddy Bench will be a benefit to all children within the school, but it will be especially helpful for children who are shy, new, or less confident.
We have spoken to the children since the arrival of the Buddy Bench, and it has been a huge hit! The children think it's ‘very smart’ and love that it has a comfortable cushion seat!

Recently went into Wickes Bracknell after being messed around at Homebase. Was looking for some Paint for the downstairs kitchen and wasn't to sure what would be best as I was after something durable but not cheap. Ended up chatting to a lad called Callum who happened to be walking down the isle at the time and he spent a good 10 minutes explaining the pros and cons of all.

The little things make a big difference, thankyou Callum.
