Purchased luxury vinyl flooring from wickes to replace all the flooring in my home.
After 2 months of this flooring being laid it started to break under foot and scratch.
I contacted Wickes to complain and seek a refund as the flooring states it comes with 25 years warranty. It is also described as scratch resistant.
After lots of email and forms being completed they rejected my claim and have put it down to installation error.
We had the floor installed by a qualified carpenter, he used expansion gaps and the underlay recommended by Wickes. But still they want nothing to do with the fact that the flooring has snapped and is being glued together after only 2 months of use.
Please avoid Wickes at all cost, they take your money, sell you products which apparently have warranties but as soon as you try to use those warranties they are not interested. I even emailed the chief executive but he didn’t even respond so clearly doesn’t care about the quality of the products they sell.
Shop elsewhere, save your money and time.
I have replied back to your request Dylan, i look forward to you coming back to me. But since I have been in communication with customer services for nearly a year I don’t hold much hope for any resolution. As I’ve said Wickes doesn’t care enough to fix the problem.
It’s also a shame I can’t add pictures here for future customers to see what poor quality flooring Wickes is prepared to sell.

After posting my review and sending Wickes the information they requested from this review I’ve heard nothing. More proof that they do not care about customer service, they comment on reviews to show interest in resolving complaints but actually never follow up. Shocking from a very well known store

Went late Saturday afternoon to get materials to lay some paving. I need 8 slabs, but the ones we had chosen there were only 7 on the shelf. Went to till with photo of the barcode, Hannah checked stock levels then arrange for her colleague to get another palette down to get one slab from it.
When going back to the till I needed another item which is not kept on the shelf again Hannah arrange for this to be picked and brought yo the till very promptly. Hannah was very polite, professional and friendly as we're all the team members involved.

For peace of mind gave the order to Wicks store, Desiner was helpful . Simon Thomas n his company was very good. Simon was very helpful.
Wicks let us down for tile delivery 3 times. Job had to cancell 3times.for finishing sink cabinet wasn’t the one we ordered from catalogue. Colour was ok . Trying to tell us that’s what we ordered ,which I don’t agree. They thinking I have changed my mind that’s why I want to change the cabinet doors .but that’s a lie I don’t agree . Overall stress was so much .
Old age ppl don’t want this , if I am spending enough money , wicks should provide the service.
Still cabinet pending with Christmas, WICKS WILL HAVE TO DORT OUT OR TAKING THE MATTER FURTHER.

I called the shop and I spoke to ARON about a order that I made two weeks I wanted to order so more but could not find what I was looking for and ARON was so helpful he went out of his way to find what the code was for I order last time so I have to give a 5 🌟 thankyou ARON hopefully you will get to read this thankyou you again

My experience with Wickes in Bracknell was dreadful. The kitchen designer (salesman) designed a lovely kitchen on paper but didnt take into consideration pipes that would get in the way. The installers positioned the units around the pipes and it was definately not the kitchen I wanted. They also in error positioned the sink off centre of the window which looked odd. I can't begin to tell you of the stress it caused me to get things corrected. The aftercare, not only Bracknell but the head office, was abysmal. It is a small kitchen and the time estimate was one week for installation but over a year later I did finally get it resolved but the compensation offered for the stress, having to cook on a camper hob, the dining room filled with boxes etc, etc was insulting. Please don't use Wickes.
