Good and helpful service from sales person Farham in the Broadstairs, Wickes. He knew his stuff and was helpful in guidance and advice explaining what units would be best in a bathroom. On site (our bathroom) he knew how to solve a problem with regards to a window projection at the end of the proposed shower.etc. It was good to see an image of the proposed bathroom fittings.
The store manager also spoke to us - albeit briefly - and came across as friendly and helpful.

Went to a few local retailers with a good idea of what we were looking for but open to being advised on better ways to get what we wanted for our kitchen. Kris was the only salesperson who made us feel like he was listening and not just trying to sell us something that would make him more commission. No pressure tactics and we came away feeling very happy about the experience

I went in looking for paint to paint my daughter's room. There was a huge range of choice and plenty of tester pots varying prices.
My husband accidently dropped a full tin of paint while putting it back on the shelf.
Found staff instantly and they were so nice about it and instead of worrying about the mess they made sure my husband was ok (while i was cackling in the next aisle)
They got the mess cleaned up so quickly but at no point did anyone make us feel like we had to leave or feel uncomfortable which was amazing.
Other than our spillage shop was clean and well maintained.

Very Professional company to deal with as a customer.
Have visited this store when in the area on jobs and always been met with superb customer service.
Staff always helpful, especially a lady named Emma, she has a great knowledge on the products that wickes sell and always provides an excellent customer experience within this store! If there was an employee like Emma in every Wickes the business would be thriving around the country!

Wickes is a great place to get all my DIY supplies. I usually find everything I need in there and reasonably priced. But if I can't find what I need, the staff in there are always happy to help and very knowledgeable.

We went to the Broadstairs store to ask about a fitted bathroom. Fantastic customer service from the design team. Planned by Farhan who took the time to explain everything very well. Management and staff all friendly and welcoming. We are now awaiting delivery. Highly recommend the Broadstairs store.

I ordered a bespoke Wickes bathroom to be installed by Wickes. Once I had paid, the communication stopped. Installer came and did a shocking job.
Incorrect plumbing, badly fitted furniture, shower fitted in wrong place, radiator not fitted correctly, broken shower screen seal, poor tiling and plastering, water leaking through ceiling, live wires hanging over the bath. Forged completion certificate. Customer Relations have kept me hanging on with false promises. Nearly three months ago was told an installer would be in touch that week.
Now going to court and seeking a Section 75 refund.
The installer was one of their ‘top fitters’, I was told.
Do your research and avoid Wickes.
Edit: I’ve already had the apologies and “we will look into this for you” when I’ve posted publicly. When I’ve been in direct contact with Wickes customer relations, they have either ignored me, or have taken a week or more to reply. I’ve raised additional issues with the bathroom. Ignored. I’ve asked for a reason why I’m waiting for three months to hear from the corrective team, when I was told five working days. Ignored. I’ve emailed the regional installations manager directly. Ignored. The installer who came to my house, and cannot be named on here, didn’t complete the preinstall survey and quote, then overcharged me, threatened to charge me 10% daily for not paying the balance, demanded full payment up front, all in breach of contract, and literally ran off the job at the end without a handover. The icing on the cake was completing the handover form on my behalf to say the job completed. This was their “top installer” who left live wires hanging from the ceiling, fitted 15mm paperwork to an unsecured bath, shower fitted off centre, radiator fitted at the wrong height, unfinished plastering, the list goes on and on. Shocking.

Do not buy a bathroom fitting from this company ! If I could give it minus one I would ! This has been the worst experience ever . Terrible customer service ( non existent!!) terrible in every sense , use another company or you will be washing in a bucket for months waiting for your bathroom to be rectified .

I bought some items in the store for delivery in a months time and the first mistake that I noticed on my email was the delivery date which they had put down wrong . I called and this was rectified. But to my horror on the day of delivery not only did they not deliver but had changed dates at the last minute without informing me. I had to find out for myself by checking the order as no message had come about a time allocation. I had to take a day off to cover this delivery and all they could say was it’s the policy! When I tried to sort something out about it over the phone they were unhelpful so I had to go into the store. I had been advised to cancel the order which I did but when I got to the store that hadn’t been done either. All in all a very bad experience. And when I submitted a complaint, they didn’t respond in time as stated on their auto reply so had to chase them again.26/7/24 I was promised a email for refund of delivery costs nothing has come and I also asked for the new revised bill showing bags of cement and not the jumbo bag this hasn’t been sent either. Will shop elsewhere now. Never again!
I am still waiting to hear from Scott below from Wickes. 31/7-I have been finally advised that I have to go back to the shop to get the refund to my account but was initially told I had been sent a link for this refund of delivery costs . I’m still waiting on the revised bill showing the single sand bags and not the jumbo bag…

I called the shop to check if they had a product in stock before travelling 30minutes to collect it. I was informed the product was available in stock but when I got there they couldn’t find it. Useless staff, extremely poor customer service and a waste of my time!

Bought a box of tiles after carefully checking that the packaging had no signs of damage. However when unpacking I found that 11 of the 20 tiles had broken corners. It is not practical to inspect every tile in-store so make sure that you get a receipt and you visually inspect every tile at the earliest opportunity.
