Wickes - Bulwell Reviews 

Whilst having my bathroom fitted there was a leak. I contacted Wickes who stated that if I called an emergency plumber to come and look at the issue they would reimburse the expense. I am still waiting for the reimbursement and Wickes are just ignoring my multiple emails now. I have also attempted to return an air conditioning unit that they could not fit but they told me to return another time to get the refund so I'm not holding out much hope on getting my money back on this either. It's a shame because the bathroom is finished now and I'm really happy with the standard, but not the other issues

Nedean helped me so much with my delux paint colour matching. I wanted it to be perfect and her advice on moving to a satin finish rather than matt saved the day and it ended up being the perfect shade.

She didn’t rush me when making a decision or while I let the paint dry to see the true colour, she was really patient which I really appreciated.

We wanted a certain Dulux colour selected from the colour charts . This branch now has the mixing facility . Chris was very helpful and explained the process very and advised about the differingnpaint finishes etc.
Very good service and we got exactly what we wanted without any fuss or delays !

Wow, brilliant. Used the paint mix facility at Bulwell for Dulux gloss to get colour my Mum wanted to match her kitchen. So easy and able to get a small tin as well so less waste. Annmarie was very helpful and made sure lid was on tight before we left ! Mum was grateful to get exactly what she wanted at such a good price. Would definately use this service again.

Ann-Marie saw the perplexed look on my face and approached me, my issue was that I saw a colour paint i wanted on a colour card but couldn't find it on the shelf, she explained that any colour on the cards that are not on the shelves can be mixed and mixed mine. whilst it is more expensive than off the shelf it is considerably cheaper than the cost of mixed paint at other places I have been too. thank you for your help.

I went in for a specific colour of a paint they normally stock, but had none. I asked if they could get some, but was told they couldn't. . . but they could mix some, exactly the same. It's perfect.
The staff had no delay in helping me and all friendly and happy to help.

Pre-ordered 8 items on 13.6.25. Collected early next day all present and correct. Steve, operation manager excellent service. Would recommend this service.

I went to Wickes to buy some flooring tools. I had a paint sample which I was trying to match and 2 store colleagues refused to offer assistance as they deemed my paint sample to be too little. I was at the till and paid for my flooring tools and I mentioned my experience to Steve who was serving me at the till. He told me to wait a moment and finished scanning my shopping and took me to the Dulux paint matching machine. He scanned my paint samples 3 times and made me a matching paint pot within 5 minutes. I then showed the paint pot to the first store colleague and they said they didn't think the paint sample would have worked. However Steve (OPS Manager) did not hold such a pessimistic attitude to customer service as the other 2 store colleagues. So the moral of my story is that in life, try to achieve something rather than just flatly refusing to even attempt it. Also by trying, store revenue will also be increased as well as customer satisfaction.

still no refund for wooden floor that was taken back to the shop 2 months ago customer service just fob you off and say the refunds been done when it hasn't contacting citizens advice today to see what can be done next never ever will i use this store again

Had my kitchen designed at Wickes by the lovely Van and he did an excellent job, it turned out better than I imagined! A lovely person and fantastic at the job.

It was a great experience from start to finish. Van from the Bulwell store did a excellent job helping plan and order all the fitting we needed to complete our bathroom refurbishment. Josh from Hickling Heating Ltd did a fantastic job installing our bathroom and everything was done to the highest quality, i would highly recommend using his services.

Went into on Thursday 1st May about 7pm to purchase a small item, while instore i noticeed some dining room chairs that i really liked. I stopped a member of staff, AnneB who explained that these where from an another company and asked if i had a search photo app on my phone. I said ive no idea and we had a giggle, as she had no idea either. I wandered off to find my husband when AnnB cane over to me again and said another member of staff, Lewis had the app on his phone and would look for me she would just swop over onto the till so he could help, which he did. This is one of the best customer services Ive had in a very long time. I hope the managment has a scheme to reward members of staff that go above and beyond are this helpful. Thank you.

I've been trying to sort this out for the past 3 weeks and am going to do legal action. I want my money back, customer servers are crap, keep going round in circles and keep getting cut off. It is doing my nut in

This is our third kitchen update from Wickes. We had the original kitchen installed in 2013 with a few additions in same style in 2017 and we are making a few further changes next month - all same range Heritage. The original units are still as good as when they were fitted - quality speaks for itself. We have worked with the same Wickes design architect each time - Van Quach - and we would recommend him to anyone. Van is 100% professional yet very friendly and accommodating - even for very fussy customers like us !!
