Wickes - Cirencester Reviews 

My husband and I often go to this store and have always found Marie so helpful on checkout. She goes the extra mile and is always so cheerful. Today we went in to ask if you could apply for assistance for our village Cricket Pavilion, initially we needed advice about products suitable for the tasks we wanted to do. Simon was so helpful, he said I can’t recommend but what I can do is talk you through the options. Which he did - so knowledgeable and friendly. Having worked at the rock face at one of the busiest airports for 34 years, customer service is very important to me. Both of these members of staff are helpful because they like their jobs and do it professionally. It warms my heart that there are still people like this. Marie explained about what I would need to do to apply for help with our little pavilion so we were able to do exactly what she recommended. Please give these two members of staff a huge thank you from us. Linda and Doug

Steve Rees came to see us. Having done a lot of these it was really very nice to speak to somebody who has experience and who can just ‘see it’ right from the beginning. He had a few excellent suggestions as well. Well done Wicks for signing him up because he wouldn’t find it difficult to get a job anywhere.

We have been given a generous donation of materials by the store towards enabling a workbench project we are undertaking as part of our Woodland Wellbeing sessions. As a small Community Interest Company we really appreciate and encouraged by the generosity shown by this local business. Both the store manager and Community Champion Marie were so friendly and helpful. Our weekly, fully funded adult sessions, following the Five Ways to Wellbeing, aim to build social connections and belonging in the local natural landscape as well as the multiple benefits that nature access has for health and wellbeing. Exceptional service this morning from Simon at Cirencester Wickes

We recently used Sandra Newsome, Design Consultant at Wickes Cirencester. She was patient and professional throughout and took time to ensure we were getting exactly the kitchen layout we wanted. Her advise was invaluable and we are looking forward to our next appointment with her where we can see the 3D view of our layout and fine tune any changes we think of.

Sorry but there were three staff behind the central till chatting and only one member of staff working one till !
As six people in the queue I politely went up to ask them was anyone else serving - the look I got would sink a battleship !!!

Simon in Cirencester was extremely helpful with a limescale problem in a tap we bought from Wickes a few months ago. He went above and beyond to work out a solution which saved us considerable amount of money in replacing the tap. He demonstrated how we could dismantle the tap so it could be cleaned and now it is as good as new. This may sound like I simple solution but the tap was not easy to dismantle abd the instructions were far from clear

Had very helpful designer at Cirencester kitchens department who visited the site and helped select right items for major update of our tired kitchen.
Also helped find our way through selecting right options for obtaining current offers available from the branch

Clean and tidy shop. I found exactly what I wanted easily. I was served at the till by Chris who was pleasant and friendly.

Thanks to the cheerful Marie who rang me up at the till, and the lovely Nicky for the friendly shout out..oh better mention Joshua for his help around the store...

I visited the Cirencester store a month or so ago to buy some pea shingle and a nice young man called Gage I think helped me put it on my trolley, very polite and friendly store. I went back to the store today 21st November and was served by a polite young man Thomas I believe, a credit to the company, he was very helpful and polite and I left the store feeling my purchase was important to the company. A great shopping experience with lots of parking, I will pop in again soon.

Excellent service in the Cirencester store and can normally find what i am looking for.
What makes wickes Cirencester extra special is Marie who is normally on check out. No matter how much I've spent in the store, I always leave with a smile, time permitting she'll always have time a quick chat. Honestly, she is your best asset.

Marie! What an absolute star and total asset to the Wickes @ Cirencester team. She’s PERFECT as the last face of Wickes (on checkout) as you leave the store - you just want to return. Nothing is too much trouble and there is nothing she does not know about Wickes’ products and the Cirencester store in particular. Please note her exemplary behaviour and pass on our thanks.

I visited there this morning . The lady I spoke to knew exactly what I was talking about when I was trying to describe the cups you put under furniture to stop it from marking the floor . She was happy , friendly and helpful and took me right there . The chap at the till was also friendly and nice . They seem to be getting things right at Wicks Cirencester , the staff appear happy and are certainly helping their customers . Well done and thankyou

A visit to the Cirencester branch isn't just a means to purchasing materials for my customers it's also a time to reflect and enjoy the marvellous customer banter at till two. Marie always greets me by name on walking through the entrance door and we generally put the world to rights when at the till. This fantastic customer care we get from Marie is a major reason why us local tradesmen are so welcomed into this store!

Simon and the Red Dragon Team were great from the first appointment, to keeping us informed of a start date and undertaking the bathrooms

They worked incredibly hard, kept the house clean and tidy with a great finish on the job.

Couldn’t ask for any more
