Excellent service from Jimmy the manager and his staff for replacing a delivered damaged door runner with a part from store stock to allow me to fit the door over the weekend. They couldn’t do enough to help me

I had an amazing experience choosing and designing my kitchen with Doug fro the Crewe branch. He also came out to measure and offered a great solution as the measurements weren’t quite right I had given. Within 1 hour he redesigned the kitchen plans and emailed them over. He also sorted out delivery cutting it by 3 months lead in time. Amazing credit to Wickes.

Doug was very supportive in understanding our total requirements for Debbies new kitchen offering really good advice.

Had a kitchen fitted. The two fitters, John and Dan did an excellent job. It looks lovely. Also a big thank you to Max and Chris for their support.

Went to Wickes to discuss a new kitchen and Doug was our planner. He came out and measured up, went away and designed a kitchen. We went into store and Doug showed us what the kitchen would look like. We loved the plans but then the big decision of choosing doors, worktops etc. Doug and a lovely lady (sorry don't know her name but she was blonde and from Stoke way I believe), were very patient with me umming and arring and changing my mind. Kitchen eventually chosen and ordered. Fitting just completed and couldn't be happier. The kitchen looks bigger although we have more units and we are absolutely delighted with it. I gave 4☆ as some bits delivered were wrong, not Doug's fault, but quickly rectified.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for Andrew Critchley at Wickes. Although my English is not very fluent and my budget was limited, he showed great patience and professionalism throughout the process. Despite the budget constraints, he offered multiple practical solutions and made sure I felt supported and understood. His service went above and beyond, and I am truly grateful.

Recently ordered my kitchen from the crewe store, Max was very helpful and professional, he assisted with all of queries and made changes as we went along, very pleased with the fitting service from Owen and Dan (ODI). A great all round service 😀

Recently ordered my kitchen and flooring from Max at the Crewe branch. He was so helpful with planning and purchasing it all. Patient with me changing my mind and recommending changes that would make the design more user friendly.

Staff friendly and helpful. Car park is huge. Easy to access. Great prices and extremely good paint selection. Great store!

The staff are all so friendly and eager to help. They go out of the way to help us. At Crewe Men In Sheds we have nothing but praise for them. Whenever we go in they always make us welcome.

We purchased a fully fitted kitchen, flooring, tiling everything for a kitchen renovation from Wickes in Crewe and paid in full £15697.75 on 31st July 24.

Installation was initially delayed because of other work being done to the kitchen but began in November 24.

The installation began badly when Wickes sent the wrong floor tiles and the tiler who was laying the floor refused to put any more down after the first day, because they were so highly glazed that we couldn’t walk on them without danger of falling. They were taken up and replaced by Wickes on 12th November 2024 with the tiles we expected but they refused to pay the tiler for relaying so the fitter who employed him had to complete the work for nothing.

After that, installation of the units commenced but it was found that some components were missing, including the worktops, and others incorrect. The fitter sent for the correct components, but not everything arrived, so he put in what he could with temporary worktops. The worktops eventually arrived on 7th February 2025, but we have never heard anything from Wickes about the completion of the installation. A helpful man who gave his name as Julian telephoned and expedited the delivery of what was needed but we realized later that he had not left any contact details. He also said that the fitter had been asked to finish the work, but, when we spoke to the fitter later, he said that he had heard nothing.

No information or response from Wickes was forthcoming although e-mails to Wickes indicated that we intended to take legal action. A complaint was sent to the Wickes website on the 1st March 25 followed by a letter on 13th March sent by Royal Mail special delivery which was signed for, but no response was received to either of these, not even an acknowledgement.

We spoke again to the fitter on 20th March who confirmed that he had not heard anything further but he offered to contact them as we were about to take action.

We received an e-mail from Freya of their customer service department asking us to explain the current situation and asking whether we had all the necessary components. We replied that it was Wickes’ responsibility to ensure that we had everything, but we believed this to be so. We then sent an e-mail on 22nd March that we had noticed that we had been sent two jointing packs for the worktops but queried whether this would be sufficient as there were three joins. On 27th March, we sent a further e-mail to say that we had lost patience with all the delays and that we were going to take action. Their response the same day was to suggest that we could register a complaint on their website! We had to point out that such a complaint had been sent nearly four weeks ago but no reply had been forthcoming.

This has not brought any response on their part, now issuing legal proceedings.

Never ever use Wickes for a kitchen, their customers are treated with nothing but contempt. We are left with a poorly fitted half done kitchen and Wickes are ignoring any contact to attempt to complete it.

I was looking for a fence paint that showed as in stock online but couldn’t see it, I asked a member of staff (James I believe his name was) if he knew where it might be and within 5 minutes he’d loaded up the stock from the back onto a trolley and brought them all out for me to choose from! He was so accommodating and friendly, super helpful! What a credit to the store.

Do you know how annoying it is when you’re fitting a kitchen and you end up a couple of parts short?

Wickes in Crewe keeps a cupboard of spares! Georgie helped me find six hinge clips and two hinge hole plugs. It took a while and she was an excellent help, along with Andy the Kitchen salesman.

This is why I always go to Wickes first. They have the best Trade Account and are always willing to help the Tradesman. Excellent people in Crewe; always a great help!

I use Wickes in Crewe on a daily basis and have to admit, this store ticks all the boxes for me.
The staff on the shop floor are very helpful if i need a lift with anything, and the Staff on the till are always very pleasant too.
If stock needs to be ordered in, they are always very prompt and notify me straight away when it arrives.
If only all other retail outlets operated like Wickes, it would be a whole lot more pleasurable spending money. 😁

If your looking for a new kitchen, Wickes in Crewe is the place to go. From the moment we met Doug.. His planning and customer service to us was excellent. We wanted a complete kitchen rip out.. French doors and new flooring. He recommended Andy and Ethan as the installers (AC Properties) and they were excellent. The complete service provided by Wickes meant we didn't need to get involved once it had been ordered. Andy visited our home and agreed a start date. He was professional and prompt. We went away for 3 weeks and left our home in very capable hands. Their workmanship is superb with every attention to detail. We returned home to the 'WOW " factor. Our home was respected and super clean. The whole experience has been hassle free and we couldn't be more pleased.

Truely Shocking kitchens....bewarned never even attempt to purchase a kitchen from wickes... went in store to buy , bought the 3 kitchen cupboard to start then told all rest needed to be order for next day delivery ... never even arrived, called store .. & customer service... still no joy .. I've now pull out the rubbish cupboard awaiting replacement ... wickes kitchen complete waste of time .. even our joinery Man has cancelled his account.. 🗑🗑🗑

I needed help designing my kitchen layout, and Andrew Critchley has been fantastic! Nothing has been too much trouble for him. He listened carefully to everything I wanted and ensured my kitchen included all the features I needed, offering helpful tips and ideas along the way.

There was absolutely no hard sell, just a focus on making sure I was happy with the design. The whole process has been incredibly easy to sort out.

As my first review they have tried to get taken down, i thought id be kind and rite another, well what can i say about this joke of a company, sold me a dream received a nightmare now telling me the kitchen I thought i was getting having been designed by one of there incompetent designers actually carnt be done so in order to have it done it would have to be miss matched, 😂 had the pleasure of another idiot come round today to tell me he disagrees with my complaints, induction hob scratched, told o we have some one to fix it, erm no I payed for brand new and that’s what I want trims places on not even stuck on all work tops and splash backs cut wrong sizes different cupboard doors on one of my cupboards none of it is level he’s chipped numerous tiles whilst fitting. radiator in wrong place soft close cupboards not shutting drawnt in marker pen all over freshly painted kitchen extractor not fitted correctly and so much more but he’s happy with that this is a WARNING to anyone wanting to get there dream from these con artists don’t waste ur time and effort even getting the designer to come round because it won’t turn out to be what you designed and then your stuck trying to fight stupid people
