Sandra was very helpful when looking for a certain wood size, her knowledge and expertise of the Derby shop made my visit efficient and pleasant.

Absolutely fantastic service from Reece in the kitchen department. Reece is professional, knowledgeable & helpful. He listens to your requirements, offers great ideas & understands any limitations you may have. Reece is a pleasure to deal with & will happily be a contact point from start to finish. If you need a new kitchen definitely speak to Reece!

Courtney helped me work out how many packs of flooring I need for my new bathroom (yay)! She was very polite, helpful and positive which made my experience at Wickes (Derby) less stressful and more enjoyable!

I went to the store to return a product which was broken within 12 months which I had the same problem previously and the staff advised me to retain the receipt for 12 months and we will replace the item if that is broken. So it happened again and I went to the stores and they refused to exchange the product saying you have not registered the product with the manufacturer. This is something new which I have not been told before, then I have purchased the same item again and asked them how to register the product with the manufacturer as there is no information on the packaging to register or their contact information, therefore I asked there is no information on registration, can you tell me how to do it, then the till staff rudely respond to me saying it’s your responsibility to do the research and contact the manufacturer, nothing to ask me, I am just selling. Also started saying if you are not satisfied with the product don’t come here again and go somewhere else. Two old female staff were rude and unprofessional, shouting at me and asked me to find somewhere with to invest my money and not in Wickes. No more going back.

Steve was amazing from the very start he out me at ease and guided me through the process. He came personally and measured the area for the kitchen and advised on what would work well. Next came the ordering process which again Steve put me at ease by explaining the range I had selected the Milton had 50% off and he had ordered everything I needed even down to the handles. If you need a kitchen ask for Steve as he made the whole process great

I came into Wickes to look at some kitchens with my elderly mother on Wednesday afternoon & I witnessed some disgraceful behaviour from a gentleman who works in your store, it really frightened my mother to see this as she doesn’t go out often & she really just wanted to come with me to have some company for the day, you should really look at the manner and demeanour of your staff, I will never return to your store & anybody who is buying a kitchen I’ll be telling them to go elsewhere most definitely! Disgraceful indeed, throwing equipment across the floor what if a small child was around or even still that could have hit anybody, I hope this man is disciplined for his actions!!!!!!!

It was great experience designing and purchasing our kitchen from Wickes our kitchen designer,Reese was great to draw up the kitchen we wanted and keeping in touch with us throughout - all our questions where answer and we couldn’t be happier with kitchen we have now.

I’ve just had a kitchen fitted. I’m really pleased with the whole process with Wickes, from the design and planning, to the delivery and fitting. Everyone through the process was helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Reece at Wickes helped plan my kitchen and kept in touch throughout to make sure everything was going well.
Sean from Parker Kitchen Joinery was amazing when it came to fitting. He uncovered some problems when the old kitchen was ripped out but quickly organised a plasterer and gas specialist to solve them and with no fuss. The quality of his and his team’s work is top notch and I’m so pleased with the finished product!

I went to the Derby store on London Road,
The service I got was absolutely amazing, I went in with a list and spoke to a very knowledgeable experienced member of staff called Nessa, she assisted me not by taking me to the aisle for the items she put them on my trolly, got 10 bags of adhesive weighing 20kg each (Heavy to me). She listen to my story (bless her) she got everything g on my list, took me to the checkout and got another member of the team to help me to my car and put everything in it.
What outstanding service I got from begging to end and Nessa is a credit to your team and should be recognised for a great value member of staff. Thankyou Nessa for your help and kindness.

We’ve just had our kitchen fitted and couldn’t be happier with the results. Over the course of two weeks, the fitter Mark Harris and his team from Harris Kitchen did a truly fantastic job. From start to finish, everything was handled with real professionalism, care, and attention to detail.

The workmanship is excellent — neat, precise, and thoughtful. They even used some leftover materials to make clever finishing touches, which really added to the overall look. Every day the team left the space spotless, clearing up thoroughly and sorting all the waste into the correct skips, separating out the recyclables too.

More than just the quality of the work, what really stood out was how friendly, approachable, and trustworthy they were. Having tradespeople in your home can sometimes feel stressful, but not in this case. We had to leave them on their own several times and felt completely at ease — something we don’t take for granted.

We feel genuinely privileged to have had such a skilled and respectful craftsman working in our home. We’d highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new kitchen without the usual headaches. A truly stress-free experience with an excellent result

Throughout the process he was amazing!

Bought adjustable bottle trap for my bathroom sink, turned out to be the wrong size. Went to the store next morning, London Road, Derby, to return it and buy the one right size, only to be told, by the woman on the till that I can't return it because the packaging was open. How else do you try it on, without opening it. The packaging is just a plain bag. When I said it to her, she said, I don't know, and turned away. She was very rude, customer service skills zero. If the wickes have a policy that, once the packaging is open, you can't return the item, then it should be stated clearly, next to the that item, but it's not, so it looks like their half literate, no manners staff make the rules as they please.

If this is a start to our purchase of a Kitchen from Wickes London Road Derby DE24 8WA then we are clearly Delighted with Wickes Derby and our Design Consultant Steve Smith what a wonderful Chap walked around there Show Kitchens with us gave us some good Ideas on what we had explained to him, came to visit us for a Measure up of our Kitchen explained everything what he thought and even told us about an extra job that he thought would help us and it wouldn't cost any Extra because they would use some of the Off-Cuts that would be left over. If the Fitters are as good as our Design Consultant Steve we look forward to our Installation. Thank-You Steve and Wickes for the Advice.

We brought a kitchen from Wickes, Hassan at the Derby Store did a fantastic design and we had Sean from Parker Kitchen and Joinery Specialists Ltd install. The kitchen is amazing, the design really works and the end result is thanks to the skills and attention to detail that Sean has especially with finishing touches and making sure everything fitted beautifully. He was a pleasure to have in our home and we felt in good hands throughout and it really shows in the end result.

Staff helpful. But stock shocking broken and smashed. This is on regular basis. The management clearly never seem to notice this. It's been going on for years they expect you to buy this stuff at full prices. I came out again empty handed as they yet again had no un damaged stock.

We’re really pleased with our new kitchen from Wickes Derby! We designed it with the help of Hassan Setayesh, who was brilliant from start to finish. He listened carefully to what we wanted and came up with a design that was both practical and modern. We chose to fit the kitchen ourselves, and the plans and layout made the process straightforward. A couple of items arrived damaged, but Wickes replaced them without any fuss, which we really appreciated. Overall, it’s completely transformed our space and we’d definitely recommend Hassan and the team at Wickes Derby.
