All the staff over the years have always been very kind and helpful and brought a smile to mine and everyone’s faces, top team!

I recently visited Wickes and was helped by Sophie Alice. I didn't know Sophie before this visit, but she made such a positive impression that I wanted to leave a review.

Sophie Alice was friendly, approachable, and genuinely went above and beyond to help me. She took the time to ask about my business and offered helpful advice and support that I really appreciated.

As someone with learning difficulties and a disability, I found Sophie to be incredibly patient, understanding, and easy to communicate with. She explained everything clearly, treated me with kindness and respect, and made me feel valued as a customer.

It's rare to receive customer service as good as this. Sophie Alice is a real credit to the Wickes team, and I hope she gets the recognition she deserves. Thank you, Sophie, for making my visit such a positive experience.

Sophie is the best worker in the whole building. They should just make her management ASAP...also she has lovely dogs 🐕 😊

Popped in to buy some white top coat. Unsure between gloss and satin but a charming member of staff (Grace) helped me out no end. I went for satin ( on her advise) and we love it so much we will change all the house over as we decorate going forward.

I've been using Wickes regularly for the past three years, and I can honestly say I've only ever had positive experiences.

The whole team are consistently friendly, helpful and professional, creating a welcoming atmosphere every time I visit.

A special thank you has to go to Ollie and Victoria, who always go above and beyond to help. Nothing ever seems too much trouble, and they genuinely make the effort to ensure customers are looked after.
The wider team deserve recognition too , whether it's helping locate stock, checking out the back when shelves are running low, or simply offering service with a smile, everyone is polite and eager to help.

The store is clearly well run, well stocked, and the staff take pride in what they do.

The weekend team are equally fantastic , always approachable, kind and professional.
I regularly recommend Wickes to friends, family and fellow tradespeople, and I wouldn't hesitate to continue doing so.

Thank you to everyone at the store for all your hard work , it really doesn't go unnoticed.

We had our kitchen designed by Laurence Kneale from the Wickes store. He helped incorporate our ideas into the design and make the most of the space. Laurence continued to be supportive after we had placed our order. Overall we were very happy with the Wickes Exeter store.

Lora lane the bathroom designer was excellent and designed us a beautiful bathroom. Communication was excellent before and after the bathroom was completed. Would recommend wicks for bathroom fitting.

Laurence Kneale was our kitchen designer & he was excellent. He listened to what we wanted but also made good suggestions to improve our plan. Laurence was approachable, friendly, knowledgeable & at no time were we pressurised by any 'hard sales', (which was a relief after other company kitchen design meetings!). And other store staff were also helpful with any questions we had.

I ordered deck boards for click and collect. On arrival I realised I’d ordered the wrong size, Sophie was really helpful and quickly swapped them over. No fuss, really efficient, a credit to the store and Wickes customer service

ordered some decking for next day delivery, courier service sent text with time, timeframe been and gone contacted wickes who said it hadn't been collected earliest delivery next was another 2 days away. Asked why when i could order online again and it says next day delivery was told they cut off deliveries for next day at 3pm- their websites states 6pm! also had previous orders from them ordered past 3 and they've come next day. wont be ordering again from them why state next day delivery if its not going to come until 4 days later

Visited Wickes on Bank Holiday Monday and was really impressed with the experience. Even though the store was busy, the staff stayed friendly, patient, and very helpful throughout. Sophie, I think she was called, helped me find everything I needed on my list and made the whole shopping trip much easier.
The store was well organised, shelves were fully stocked, and prices were reasonable. The lady who served me at the till wearing a pink hi-vis was also very friendly and funny, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Checkout was smooth despite the holiday rush, and the customer service really stood out. A really positive visit overall — I’ll definitely be returning for future DIY projects.

Not impressed as I phoned them up as I was looking for kitchen top or the best shelving and wanting a piece 165.5 or 167 cm x 50 x 4 cm thick cut size now I’ve been told that they do the Service and the lady on the phone told me they don’t and I should go and shop elsewhere and that’s for laminate waterproof type stuff you know

I had a great experience speaking with Sharon over the phone. She was extremely helpful, professional, and knowledgeable when providing information regarding deliveries for one of my customers. Sharon took the time to answer all of my questions clearly and made the whole process much easier. She is also very friendly and welcoming in person, which makes every interaction a pleasure. The other staff in store are also always helpful, polite, and provide excellent customer service. Very much appreciated.
