We are currently planning a new kitchen and from our initial visit to Wickes we were very impressed with Becky-Ann Williams. We made a Design appointment and within minutes of booking the appointment, Becky-Ann had emailed us requesting key information to assist her in the planning process. When we arrived for the appointment again we were impressed by the work already undertaken. Becky-Ann is extremely professional,knowledgable, and honest.She really made the whole process easy and whilst we thought we had a good idea of what we wanted, Becky-Ann was able to advise and recommend options to make our choices work even better. We are delighted with the plan and really looking forward to getting the kitchen fitted in the next few months. From the minute we walked into the store to look at kitchens to the completed installation, the whole experience was excellent. Lora from the design team was most helpful. When there was a minor problem with the flooring we chose, Lora sorted a replacement to be delivered in time for the installation team to complete the work within the agreed time. Would highly recommend Wickes in Exeter and especially Lora from the kitchen design team.

She helped decode the various oven designs and their functions.

We went in to get a design and price for our kitchen renovation and spoke to Becky-Anne. She is extremely knowledgeable and super friendly and we came away with a design we are really happy with and a very competitive price. I can’t recommend Becky-Anne enough. 11 out of 10!!!

Tom was paitent, helpful and knows his products. His advice was extremely useful in helping us choose the right kitchen.

We met Lora instore when we were in the initial stages of getting a new kitchen. Having been a previous employee of Wickes I knew exactly what I wanted but she updated us on the newer products that I didn’t know about. She listened to what we wanted. We had some concerns that the Tiverton Slate kitchen I loved would be too dark in our north facing kitchen. She came round to measure up and bought a few samples of the doors so we could see them in situ.
She designed the kitchen exactly as we wanted and gave us some advice on the worktops and appliances we needed.
Once purchased our installer came out within days to do the survey and was available to fit the kitchen 4 weeks later.
Kevin from KS carpentry services talked us through everything we needed him to do, including extra plastering, extra electrical work and repairing a damaged floor. Nothing was too much trouble for Kevin. He took just over a week to remove and install the kitchen.
We are absolutely delighted with the finished result. From our initial meeting with Lora to the end of finished project, the whole experience has been excellent. Highly recommend

Getting a new kitchen fitted can be a very daunting prospect but the excellent service we received from Tom, our friendly and experienced design consultant, immediately put us at ease.
He talked us through every step of the journey listening to our concerns and answering all our questions.
He was very mindful of the character of our home and knew exactly the look we were after and what would suit it best.
Thank you to Wickes and especially to Tom. We are now looking forward with confidence to a beautiful new kitchen.

Absolutely disgraceful customer service (if you can even call it that) Complete jobsworth of a worker was completely useless, aggressive and has prevented at least 4 people from ever shopping here again. Will avoid like the plague. You can't act like this to paying customers who are well within their rights. Appreciate they are minimum wage workers, but some common sense goes a long way.

Becky-Anne listened to what we wanted without pushing things onto us. She had good ideas and being able to see the units set out on a realistic plan was good. We were able to move items to a different side of the room to suit our needs.
We didn't feel rushed.
No hard selling of most expensive items which was great.
Plus the discounts were a great saving.
We are both extremely happy with the service Becky-Anne provided this morning.

We had been to a couple of similar stores before arriving at Wickes in Exeter and were feeling confused and overwhelmed and not sure of what we wanted. We needed advice about how to cover old tiles in a shower room and we wanted to use an alternative to tiles. Luckily another assistant introduced us to Becky-Anne, who instantly showed us the products we needed .She explained in great detail how the Naturepanels work, and how they could cover our old tiles.She worked our all the fittings and adhesive we would need and answered our barrage of questions. I found Becky-Anne really friendly, but extremely professional and a pleasure to work with after our experiences in other stores. After our initial order, we contacted her next day to add another panel, and she responded to our email straight away. Luckily for us Wickes had a Bathroom SALE on at this time.

We went into the Exeter branch and Beckyanne was brilliant, quick to reply and extremely knowledgeable and seemed to know exactly the look we were after and paired everything together beautifully! Lee Angel was our kitchen fitter and he did an incredible job! Lee is a very skilled craftsman and his attention to detail was spot on. He checked any tricky bits with us to get our opinion before going ahead and went above and beyond, there was no rushing or cutting corners…a true perfectionist and we would highly recommend him to anyone. I would give more than 5* if I could!

We were very impressed from the beginning of our experience. We had made an appointment with a planner but came in the day before to have a look in the showroom to give us some ideas and were given lots of help and advice from Laurence, another planner who had time to talk to us. He was able to pass on lots of information to out planner prior to our appointment. Becky Anne was very knowledgeable and discussed our options in great detail, giving us lots of practical and aesthetic advice. She explained everything clearly and showed us examples of appliances etc to help us with our choices.

Where to begin with my kitchen saga ..... I first sat down with Beckyanne in January 25. Design ideas were readily available by someone who has clearly been doing the job for a very long time and was happy to share her expertise. I didn't have an infinite budget but I was able to get what I wanted and a few treats along the way and the 0% finance offer certainly helped. Within a structured initial visit, we had a design I was really happy with and the graphics everyone receives showcasing their design meant I became the boring friend who did nothing but talk about her new kitchen.
Fast forward to October 25 and my kitchen saga has endured many dramas. Availability of builders, ill health amongst family members and many more unexpected demands have repeatedly postponed the work. At every step, wickes has been supportive of my situation. Delivery teams have periodically got in touch to explore updates and just let me know they are there when I am ready. I've been able to make tweaks to the design along the way and theres been a level of flexibility that's made me feel in control of the situation and under no pressure to make tricky decisions.
Ive just returned from meeting with Beckyanne who popped into the office on her day off to meet with me and ive been forced to cancel the kitchen altogether. The time just isn't right for me and my family but wickes, again, have been stress free, cancelled everything without issue and will be returning my full deposit with absolutely no consequence for me whatsoever.
When the time is right, I will be returning to wickes for my new kitchen. Given my experience working with them thus far, I'd be a fool not to.

Booked and paid for a delivery on a specified day. Received a text saying order would be arriving between 1300hrs and 1700hrs. No delivery - rang the branch to be told; 'oh, the driver is delayed, he'll definitely be with you some time soon'...... At 1840 hrs I was rung by a minion at the branch (just 'passing a message, and no further knowledge') and was told that 'there's been an issue with the driver, he won't be delivering to you this evening'!
'Okay' I said, 'when tomorrow'? 'Oh no' came the response, 'the earliest now is going to be Thursday'...... This is simply lousy customer service! Having already taken an afternoon off work, now I have to take more time off? Being a self employed contractor, I can't afford to just 'take more time off work'...!!! This is all due to Wickes Exeter's inability to deliver an order to my property less than 4 miles away?? I won't be buying here again! I wouldn't mind but the store kept telling me that it was my problem and not theirs!!!

I recently had my bathroom re-designed and installed through Wickes. While I'm really pleased with my revamped bathroom (designed by Becky-Anne, who went above and beyond throughout), I sadly won't be using them for future projects or recommending them to others as the Customer Experience Centre (CEC) ignored numerous emails from both myself and Becky-Anne over a period of weeks, leaving me without a vital component and causing significant stress.
I have since been offered a token financial compensation, but at no point has an apology or explanation for the poor service been forthcoming.

Becky-Anne in Exeter made a (what could be) stressful situation, a pleasure and completely stress free!! We bought our house in September 2024, we sat with Becky-Anne to discuss our kitchen. She made it all very easy and we couldn't have done it without her, so a year on... we needed our bathroom completely redone. We tried an alternative supplier, and they just did not give us the speed of service, the experience or the ease that Wickes/Becky-Anne did! Very very happy customers. Cannot wait to see it completed!
