Ryan was so helpful with designing our first kitchen! After coming out and measuring the space, he spent time with us making sure every detail was just what we wanted. Working with limited space, he still managed to make it functional and pretty.

Had a great experience. Elaine was a big help. Cydney on the till was really helpful. Both were professional and with a great sense of humour. A credit to Wickes. Thank you!

Excellent service from everyone in this store, including kitchen design and paint matching/mixing. Well stocked on the retail side too, and lots of car parking space. Great all round.

My overall experience with Wickes was very positive. This began with a consultation with Neill Stevens, the Design Consultant, who was very friendly. He completed a home visit and listened patiently to all of my requirements. He then came up with a design to my satisfaction, and was extremely helpful through out the whole process. The Customer Experience Centre then contacted me to discuss the next stages. I was then visited by Gary Kiss, the Installation Manager, who was excellent. Gary was very professional and a master of his trade. He had to install the kitchen in a converted barn, which is not particularly square, and did an excellent job. He completed in a timely manner and was very clean and tidy. Overall I am delighted with my new kitchen, thank you.

Superb customer service today- I popped in with my four month old baby to grab a bunch of things from a list my wife had sent me.

Finding 4/6 items easily, I got lost on the fifth and after wandering the aisles looking lost for a few minutes, Elaine popped up.

She helped me find the fifth item (Shock: It was right in front of me the whole time!) then enquired if I needed anything else.

I needed to visit the outdoor section to find a trellis and when she heard this, she insisted I stay inside with baby as it was absolutely hammering it down outside.

She spent a few minutes searching for the item before taking it to a till, scanning everything through and then carrying it out to my car.

After telling me to put baby in the car while she waited patiently, despite the torrential downpour, she helped me load the car before getting a big smile out of little man and making her way back inside.

Best customer service I’ve received in person anywhere for years so thought I’d highlight it here. Nice one Elaine!

I was served by Desiree today, who was exceedingly helpful and is a credit to the Company. Very pleasant to find someone that will go the extra mile.

My experience with Wickes has been all positive. I had complex problems and Ryan, through patience and expertise, solved them all. He gave us time and advice to solve the problems that arose and everything has worked out perfectly. I'm so please with the result and cost. Thank you Ryan.

The community donation program is amazing!
We Clean Up Stapleford was delighted to be chosen for the November donation providing us with a brand new cordless hedge trimmer!

This will allow us to help local residents and clear away block floor paths that could be neglected allowing disabled access to be opened back up again in our lovely small town.

My wife and I have recently purchased a new Wickes kitchen which as a kitchen fitter I have fitted myself other than a few items that were damaged dishwasher extractor we only had one draw front with damage which all items were replaced very quickly although just over 2 months on from my delivery I am still waiting on a set of missing draw runners which we have rang and informed them about but still as yet no draw runners I have contacted the CEO the CFO head of customer services and still no draw runners so I cannot finish my kitchen so pls be aware if you're thinking of purchasing a Wickes kitchen maybe go elsewhere as once they have your money there not bothered

The entire staff, weve been coming in almost daily for a year while renovating and could ask for a nicer team of staff, always happy to help always seem to be in a good mood (not always easy to do). Nothing is too much to ask and it's the exact kind of experience you want a need from a place like this. Marcus in particular today was very helpful and is perfect with a customer facing role. Love the place 🙌

Exceptional Customer Service - Elaine at the Long Eaton store! Always has a friendly, welcoming smile when we call in. Helped us with a large order, saved us money by giving good advice. Wickes is fortunate to have Elaine on their team!

Elaine dealt with my returns in a very professional manner. She listened and assisted with my request, ensuring it was dealt with effectively.

Called in to buy new doors, nothing exceptional, but was greeted at the till with a friendly welcome and smile from Riley. Some shop staff just scan and ask for payment. Riley was the opposite chatty, helpful. A credit to the Long Eaton branch

Ordered a bathroom and en-suite with fitting. I knew we would pay over the odds for the full service but trusted the brand and wanted to have the peace of mind that everything would be sorted. How wrong we were.
Consultant in the store basically washed his hands of us once we signed up. There were items missing from the order, which we were told to find and buy ourselves.
We thought we would only have to deal with Wickes if there were any issues, but no. Any issues with the installation or additional payment to the installer (significant amount on top of the significant amount already paid to Wickes) we were basically told to sort out ourselves.
Emails and texts ignored by the ‘customer service’ team.
Signed up in March, project only finished in August.
I would like to say that while the customer service is shocking that the products are good, however only 2 months after installation both the toilet and shower have faults. I’m currently 10 days in to trying to get Wickes to help with this (after being told just to let them know if anything at all went wrong). It takes days between contacts from them, latest is they want a video of the fault before they can do anything.
Huge mistake trusting the ‘let us take care of your project’ promises made. We’ve paid vastly inflated prices for average products and an awful customer experience.
Very disappointing. Needless to say we won’t be making this mistake again!
