Wickes - Lowestoft Reviews 

Excellent service from staff they were receptive and had good interpersonal skills and were enthusiastic to manage and advise. They had a good depth of knowledge of the products and sought further guidance from other staff and their Wickes website. The process of setting up a trade account and purchasing was well guided by the staff and especially their operation’s manager.

Excellent customer service, always willing to help find what in need. Normally in stock as well.

Excellent customer service. Great product knowledge. Was able to purchase everything I needed for a minor DIY project. Wickes will be my first choice for future purchases.

went into your lowestoft branch and its had a make over! It was fairly busy but seemed to be more staff about to help and serve on tills. after wandering around the kitchens and bathrooms which look great i was approached by a young chap whilst i was at tiles, its nice to see someone offer to help we spoke about the shop and how much better it was and he was happy to spend time with me with, before he helped me load some tiles i was very grateful, i asked at the tills for the chaps name but cant remember what they said but said he was the store manager.

We'd purchased a tracker for a door which turned out to be unnecessary since the door came with a tracker (the tradesman had advised us otherwise and was poor too).
We'd claimed the refund which should have been for £36 yet had somehow been put through at £29.
Upon returning to the store (from where we'd obtained the refund) we were told they could not refund the £7 balance and gave no valid reason. They even tried to suggest we were at fault , offered no apology at any point and were a combination of highly incompetent (the manager couldn't even do the fairly basic maths required to calculate what we were owed) and rude.
My wife and I won't ever use Wickes again ; turns out it was easy for us to obtain the £7 refund online ; shame the store employees weren't anywhere close to competent or demonstrating even the mildest empathy for the extremely unfair position they'd put us in.

From the moment we stepped into the showroom and met Alex we knew we were in good hands. He was friendly knowledgeable and helpful with all our questions and queries, nothing was too much trouble no matter how many times we changed things.
When we met Mark the head of the installation team, we had the same feeling, and knew we were in good hands. His team were also professional polite and all did a fantastic job. A special mention must go to Isaac, who was amazing, working long hours and for again answering all our questions.
We truly cannot recommend all the team highly enough, thank you all so much for such a great job.

Paid £12,000 cash beginning of Aug for new kitchen it was delivered within a couple of weeks into garage.
Numerous cancellations for fitting, so asked for money back in November, More promises of collection and money back
And still waiting!!! Now mid December with kitchen still in garage and no refund! I am writing on behalf of my friends an elderly couple age 78 and husband 88 it’s making them ill with stress!

After some design rethinking by me and excellent advice throughout from Design Consultant Alex Haylett, the new shower room has surpassed my expectations! The fitters from ABO Bespoke kitchens Ltd. (Norwich) did a superb fit and finish despite a few 'bumps in the road' provided by a 50 year old house! Can't recommend highly enough.

Poor customer service

Very impressed with the kitchen designer helping us with best layout of the kitchen. Would highly recommend using Wickes friendly helpful staff.

Alex visited our home to design our new kitchen.
I was very pleased and impressed that he listened carefully to what we wanted and his initial design was spot-on!
One week later we ordered the kitchen in-store. The service was excellent, really easy, we were shown all our selected choices which were demonstrated and matched with great thought and consideration.
The staff were all friendly and helpful.
Absolutely recommend Alex and Wickes as a store.

Went to lowestoft store,kitchen guy busy,when I got home I rang store to ask about a metal shelving unit in kitchen range,was told he couldn't tell me the price today,but could tomorrow????,so I also contacted customer services,who said give me the item number and I will order it for you???,(how would I have the item number?)I have decided not to bother with wickes.I will try ikea instead.

i want to thank an incredible young man in Lowestoft WICKES , i went there yesterday 18/10/24 to purchase paint , i couldnt see the one i wanted , he kindly searched online for me , then went through a crate to find the one that i wanted, he went over and beyond , so thank you Shaun at Lowestoft for the kindness shown

Brilliant customer service went above and beyond

Knowledgeable staff, walked through the door and was asked what I was after and was immediately guided to the exact spot, cant get better than that.

Made my day. Was refreshing to be helped before needing to ask for it. seems looking lost has it’s advantages.

Sometimes it's just the little things that inspire me to give a good review, easy to find most things in the shop, I had help with a couple of bits from the friendly lady behind the till, but the shop was tidy, well lit and had everything I needed for the job I had at home so all in all, worth a comment.

Absolutely amazing and helpful staff! Couldn’t have been more helpful the last time I went in. Even found a better and slightly cheaper set of lights than the ones I was looking at.
