Jake was excellent very helpful understanding of what I wanted for my bathroom, very professional and polite made me understand every moment and made me feel at ease with the work what will be carried out, and if I have any queries I could ring any time. Very happy with Jake would recommend to anyone who’s wanted a bathroom or kitchen from Wickes Arnold

Jake has been so helpful in planning our kitchen for our first house! Had our first appointment at the store in the morning, by the afternoon Jake had made time to come over and measure up! So friendly and had a great experience! Thank you

I used the full design consultation and installation package for my new kitchen. The design consultant Sarmed gave me loads of time and helped me every step of the way in selecting my kitchen and setting everything up. . The installer Josh coordinated the installation from start to finish. Kept to timings. Communicated well. Excellent workmanship.

Purchased 40 bags 25ltr top soil, split them into two trips from the Nottingham North store, as I paid I asked the lady at the counter if somebody would be able to load up the remaining 20 ready for us to come back and load up. On returning to the store and asking the lady behind the till if they were ready, she replied "I've asked two people and they said no"

Myself and my husband then went to load up and saw two members of staff on the shop floor, a lady (lovely red hair) and a man, I explained what the lady had said at the till, "they said that nobody had been asked to load it up". The lady (lovely red hair) came to help, I couldn't thank her enough for her help.

The lack of customer service from the lady behind the till was appalling, I was a customer asking for help to load bags due to a wrist operation, I already loaded 20 with my husband but had started with pain, so had asked for help and she failed to deliver any help or service!!!

Nothing wrong with this store, I use it a lot. Decent prices too. My gripe is with 80% of the staff. They are so miserable, never smile and everything always seems an effort. Customer service in B&Q is much better. Shame really 😕

New bathroom 95% fitted. Came to open the shower door/glass panels, wrong ones
Went to Arnold store, spoke to the Designer who did the design work. He admitted it was the wrong front to the shower and it was his fault. He said he would get on to it Thursday morning.
Myself and the fitter had to take the whole shower front back to the store, on speaking to the design team, the replacement was ordered. Got a text delivery on Friday, never came.
Monday phoned up, spoke to Ops manager, said she would ring back, never did. Wednesday rang up again escalated it to Shop Manager. He actually did ring back on Friday saying it would be delivered in store Monday.
Fitters had to be taken off their new job to fit my shower.
1 month with no shower facility.
Customer care service just a joke.
Sent me an email outlining the delivery schedule as the fitter was installing said items.
When the complaint arose, promised to phone me back, didn't (reading the other reviews, no shock there)
I have been lied to and pushed around various people. Still on going.
I wish I could give a minus score

Jake was very helpful, useful and a pleasure to work with. Met all my needs for my new bathroom project and I wouldn't hesitate to use him and Wickes again.

Sarmed from the Nottingham North store made our planning and creative experience as pleasant as possible in what can be a very stressful experience. He made us feel at ease and listened to our thoughts, needs and preferences every step of the way, while at the same time offering up suggestions we maybe wouldn’t have thought of ourselves. We’re thrilled with the end product and would highly recommend Sarmed and Wickes to anyone looking to renovate their kitchen space.

Came round and measured the kitchen, designed the kitchen and told me what was needed. During installation an error became apparent in the measurements or design. Wickes took no responsibility for any error. Making a complaint is extremely difficult and proved pointless. They rejected the complaint very quickly after receiving it and without requesting any information. Everyone can make a mistake. Wickes never admit to it and I did by trusting them. John

Sarmed he was really professional about everything when we wanted a new kitchen couldn’t ask for anyone better as he came out measured everything up drawn everything out just how we wanted. Nothing was too much trouble when we needed to alter some things. What a wonderful man would highly recommend this man to come and sort your kitchens out for you

Jake has been brilliant from start to finish. He is very thorough in all aspects of designing the kitchen. Nothing is too much trouble, even when you add or take something away from the design.

I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone who needs help with their design for the kitchen.

I booked an appointment with Wickes having tried many of the other “high street” retailers for kitchens and my experience of the process has been excellent. Jake has been a pleasure to deal with, and has not only listened to my requirements but implemented them in ways I wouldn’t have even considered. I would have no issues with recommending Wickes and especially Jake to anyone else looking for a kitchen design. Overall a massively positive experience

We visited several kitchen suppliers for designs and to view the ranges available, it was the quality of the Wickes range that drew us in and Jake came up with the most innovative design that really improved the look and feel to the kitchen. Service was excellent, everything delivered on time. A truly remarkable service from end to end.

This is the 3rd time we have used Wickes 2 was a kitchen and now a bathroom.
The designer Stuart Lackenby was excellent any problems he goes out of his way to sort them and the bathroom is now fitted and very happy with it . the installer was great apart from his singing which was out of tune , would not hesitate to use Wickes again

Went into wickes to look at kitchens. Sarmed gave up several hours of his time to look at various kitchen designs that would work for us. He was very patient as we kept changing our minds but gave us good ideas and pointers too. In the end we haven't purchased our kitchen from Wickes but Sarmed was fantastic and at nonpoint was he pushy to get us to buy. Overall a good experience and nothing but praise for Sarmed.

Recently had our bathroom designed and installed by the Nottingham North branch and the whole process was made effortless and easy thanks to Sarmed who went the extra mile to ensure we got the bathroom we wanted woth the best use of the space at the right price. I would highly recommend anyone to get in touch with Sarmed as his knowledge and understanding and customer service is exceptional.
