Wickes - Nottingham North Reviews 

The whole experience of choosing and agreeing to purchase a kitchen with Wickes and in particular with Sarmed Chaudhry has been very positive. Friendly help and advice should be his watch words as that is exactly what he has demonstrated throughout. Unfortunately I'll health hit me before installation and it became necessary to cancel the whole project. Sarmed has been extremely understanding throughout the cancellation, explaining the necessary process and working it all through for us. We couldn't have asked for better understanding or compassion. Thank you to Wickes and especially to Sarmed in helping make this extremely difficult time a little easier. When I am better (fingers crossed) we will be back.

We had great support with our new kitchen throughout. Stuart Lazenby at Wickes Nottingham North branch gave us insightful designs at the first stage and was available for further advice throughout. The contractor, Russell Heckford was efficient and polite and provided further support when we felt it was needed. The Wickes Customer Support Centre lady, Lucy, added to the feeling that we were in safe hands.

From start I felt very comfortable talking to Jake, about what I wanted, I needed to up date my bathroom I did not know how to began but after speaking with Jake and getting a few ideas I knew what I could afford and what I wanted, it took some time to start the work but once it stated it finish in no time, I am very please with the result the workman was very confident, helpful and clean thanks Jake and Pete.

Excellent! We have had 2 kitchens, both designed by Sarmed who is very knowledgeable, has great ideas and tips but also listens and takes on board our vision of how the kitchen should luck. Very satisfied with the service

He was very professional, explained everything we needed to know about the process from start to finish and we could not have asked for a better service. And Alan and Rob, who installed the kitchen were also fantastic professionals. Very polite and very careful with everything they did. Our kitchen looks better then what we expected! Stuart designed our new downstairs cloakroom and hallway with great attention to detail, producing an elegant design perfectly suited to our home. The contract ran smoothly and the installers did a great job. Thank you Stuart and the Wickes team!

Delivery was efficient and on time.

Four years ago in November we booked a new bathroom with Wickes. Even though it couldn't be started until Feb of the following year we still had to pay for all the items (toilet, shower tray, shower screen and so on) to secure the date. Leading up to the start date items began to arrive. The shower pump was the wrong one, so that had to get replaced. The shower tray had a crack in it, and we were quoted a several week delivery for a replacement. Our fitter went out and bought one from another supplier exactly the same. The new toilet of choice was out of stock, with a delivery date of a few months! So an alternative was chosen. The wrong seat for the toilet was delivered. The toilet that turned up was the wrong type of fitting (external cistern instead of an internal vanity cistern). Please bear in mind that these items had been paid for in full the previous November. The Triton shower magically started to turn itself on. We filmed it for Triton so they would come and sort it. We ended up with an off the shelf Wickes shower. I could go on and on. The problems we had in a way pale into insignificance compared to their customer service. We have been on hold for so long trying to get to speak to the designers/customer care that the phone has cut itself off. We have recently had a toilet leak which turned out to be an inlet valve that had split. The leak has ruined the LVT that was laid down and the water damage has ruined the base boards beneath. But Wickes have said the faulty valve is wear and tear. With having had the long term use of several toilets over my life time I have never before come across this type of wear and tear. I have had to give 1 star to be able to leave this review. If it was possible to leave a negative rating I would.

Everything went great with our bathroom and kitchen order. Jake was excellent at helping design it and recommend fittings. The installers, Alex, Dean, and Declan were all amazing, absolutely zero complaints.

The service was first class from start to finish. Jake was very helpful with good knowledge and very supportive. We were kept informed at all stages of the process from onset to finish. Darren was excellent when fitting the kitchen and went above and beyond to support us. All in all we are 100 % happy with the service and the build quality of the kitchen,tiling and appliances supplied and fitted.

Excellent service, friendly staff, nothing too much trouble. Sales team especially Sarmed take time to listen to your requests and then put them into operation promptly. First class - no problems at all and would highly recommend Wickes and their quality products.

Purchased a new bathroom from the Nottingham North store. Jake did a fantastic job with the design making my initial vision come to life. He was knowledgeable, flexible to adapt and make changes and I was really happy with the recommended products and final design. I was kept well informed throughout the process and the final fitting job was done really well. Pete did a wonderful job, making sure I was happy with everything and making suggestions and talking me through my options. The work was done well and finished on time with no issues. Totally in love with the final product. I found the whole process super easy from start to finish and would definitely recommend to others.

Jake was extremely helpful and made some brilliant suggestions when I was choosing my new bathroom. I was more than happy with the outcome and have had no problems at all.

From walking into Wickes to choose our products to Jake coming out to take measurements in our bathroom we really don't have a negative thing to say. Jake was patient and helpful with helping us come to decisions about what would look good together and what would work as is all very new to us. He showed us confidently around the show room bathrooms to see our chosen products which helped us clarify what we wanted. We now cannot wait for it to be fitted. Thank you Jake, kitchen next 😀
