It wasn’t the easiest of designs as it was for a bar area to be built in the corner of a unique shaped room, but it was no problem for Jack to find a solution and make my vision come to life.
He was very knowledgeable and would return to him when coming back to Wickes in the future.

This is now a 1 star review. It simply gets worse. The ‘installation customer experience’ team are genuinely the worst group of people I’ve ever encountered in customer service. Inept, rude, arrogant and unprofessional. Yes we’ll be making a formal complaint detailing multiple failures, failures in delivering the products required for the install, multiple deliveries with items missing, incorrect deliveries and simple incompetence. PLEASE, PLEASE, do not order your bathrooms from these people. I’d be happy to share our experience with anyone. Next stop, legal advice about their failures.
Let me start with the positive - the Wickes bathroom designer was amazing. Genuinely professional and excellent.
Now, let’s get to what Wickes actually deliver. We ordered 2 bathrooms at a cost of tens of thousands of pounds. We are now into week three of the 1st bathroom fit. So far, I’ve had to wait in the house for in excess of 6 seperate deliveries. Our expectations were set that we’d have one big delivery for each bathroom. Wrong! Then we didn’t receive the correct items or the items weren’t delivered on time. What really matters is that the ‘installation service customer experience centre’ send texts and emails that are clearly automated and then don’t reply to either mail or text responses. And, this weekend we’ve been left for three days without hot water.
So far, a lot of hot air from Wickes but failing to deliver on their promises. Let’s see how the second bathroom installation goes. Maybe the review will go down or up…

Denise bettey designed my bathroom and was really helpful and informative. The design was exactly what I had in mind. My bathroom is now finished and it’s absolutely stunning. Dean from ProPlumb was amazing and has done a fantastic job. It’s exceeded my expectations. I did have a couple of issues with delivery dates but was worth it now it’s all finished.

The whole experience purchasing my kitchens from Wickes, designed by Mark Stonehouse, was excellent. I needed to purchase 2 separate kitchens. I gave Mark my scraps of paper & he worked his magic and designed them both for me & arranged a delivery date on the spot. About a week later I had to amend my order…my measuring mistake! I went in to see Mark & he amended it for me & I also got a partial refund. I purchased the Ohio units for both kitchens and they look amazing. I will defo be recommending Wickes to all my friends & family. Well done Mark!

We have ordered a kitchen through Bethany at the Plymouth branch. It has yet to be installed so can't comment on the kitchen itself but felt I should leave a review about Bethany herself. She has been exceptional from the beginning. She has listened to what we have wanted, changed the design numerous times and I mean numerous. I haven't been easy to work with but Bethany has always been there to answer my queries and problem solve. Her knowledge in the products is second to none, she really knows her job and goes above and beyond even answering emails when it's her day off. Great asset to Wickes.

I had my Kitchen Design appointment with Denise Bettey at Wickes Plymouth. Denise was very helpful/informative and did not try and sell me expensive products or products I did not require. I am currently in the process of buying a flat and will be return to place my order in a couple of months.

I had full bathroom replacement and an additional downstairs toilet replacement. The experience, and the result was nothing shy of perfect. Beth did the design. She did an amazing job. She listened to what I had in mind and understood the budget. The star of the show was Lukasz and his team who fitted the bathroom. They did an amazing job. Communication was excellent, Lukasz explained everything. He did suggest few things along the process. I am glad he did, because those suggestions turned out fantastic. If I could give 10 stars, I would happily do that. I am more than happy with the results and once my kitchen is up for a renovation I will definitely get in touch with Beth and Lukasz.

Jack is extremely helpful, kind and professional.
He listened to what we wanted and made some suggestions and was very happy to make any alterations and improve our Kitchen design where he could. We have now had our kitchen delivered and are very pleased with it.
We were so comfortable with his no pressure sales attitude that we intend to order another Kitchen from Wickes for another property dealing with Jack.

I order a lot of building materials, usually from Jewson’s, but often, for smaller quantities, from Wickes, but unfortunately Wickes are not set up for trade. For example, I sent a contractor to pick up 60 slabs. He was waiting outside the Wickes yard for over 90 minutes, as they can only let one van in at a time arguing health and safety. That waiting time cost me money. I sent him rather than get the slabs delivered as the courier they use tends to deliver after 6pm when everyone has left site, and often slabs delivered are frequently damaged.
However, I needed a small supply of sand and cement (11 bags) to finish off a job, and I couldn’t afford a contractor to wait another 90 for a £40 order (cost me more in wages), so ordered it via Wickes in bags to be delivered. I thought that the driver might have enough intelligence that it would likely have to be left outside and that they should deliver in daylight. The estimated delivery was between 1pm and 5pm. Yet they opted to deliver in the dark at 5.45pm to a place where there is no street lighting and arguably a very unsafe situation with masses of trip hazards, but when I contacted Wickes, their argument is that the courier isn’t someone that they can directly contact, and the courier’s offices close at 4.30….well the guy picked up the materials and other items from Wickes at 12.42pm and as Wickes are aware they deliver up to 7pm and the courier’s offices close at 4.30, I would suggest they get the courier’s number. Arguing health and safety to suit Wickes needs when they want to control who accesses their yard is not meeting regulations. The courier is an agent for Wickes, and is therefore effectively an employee, and Wickes has a duty of care, as I have to the courier (and myself), as I know where the material needs to be delivered. I had to refuse the delivery on health and safety grounds, as I did not want to be liable for prosecution or injure myself. Wickes needs to get their health and safety procedures reviewed, which are not only implemented to suit their circumstances, but to consider the safety of their contractors and customers. Wickes, I should not be acting as your health and safety advisor!
