Customer service was brilliant, didn't quite catch the blokes name but his knowledge of the store and products were spot on.

Great service, tried other well know stores for a new kitchen, but Wickes wins every time with not only the price, quality goods, but a fantastic service from Simon.

Simon Brace from Instore was excellent throughout the process. I’m very happy with the design of my kitchen. All items were delivered on time,. The only thing left is for the installer to come back and complete a few snagging issues. If someone could arrange to collect the large rubbish sacks that would be great!

Wickes business model is weaponised incompetence.
Home surveyors who don’t measure properly, Wickes blames the customer when cabinets don't fit - Tick.
First installer steals your deposit - Tick.
Replacement installer damages everything he touches—cabinets sagging, others sloping, dangerous electrics - Tick
No running water for two months. Oven? Not connected. Floor? Uneven - Tick
Customer service ignores you, refuses refunds, and gaslights you into oblivion - Tick
Seven months in, still no kitchen.
Their good workmanship guarantee would only be useful if you folded up the paper it's printed on and jammed it under a wonky cabinet.
If you read this and still buy a kitchen from Wickes you will only have yourself to blame - you have been warned and oh god I wish I had read the reviews before buying anything from this abysmal company - I won't ever buy even a single screw from them for the rest of my life!
Installation 7 months and counting, Section 75 claim 10 weeks and counting, financial ombudsman complaint in progress - and the hell goes on and on and on....
EDIT1: Notice the standard BOT reply below which is all they have - come on Trust Pilot you need to take action against this company using a BOT to reply
EDIT2: You should also note that Wickes used to have a separate TrustPilot domain for their kitchens with an appalling 2.5 star overall rating - they combined it with this one to average out their reviews for trivial items and gain their current much higher star rating - if you think that's dishonest you would be correct!
EDIT3: After 10 months Wickes finally agreed to replace all items damaged by their fitters and refund the installation fee what a nightmare. Seriously I will never buy even a single screw from this company ever again - avoid them at all costs....

It has been a strange difficult experience and although the builders have been great we have not got there in the end.
The Wickes front of house does not do a bad job. They sell hard and you feel you are about to get what you want.
The manufacturing and warehouse end does not help the delivery and distribution, although keen often delivers some of the stuff you ordered but NOT all of it.
In fact going by the amount of separate mini deliveries (warehousing mess ups) Net Zero Carbon amounts to nothing at Wickes.
So right in the middle of a job we are missing ALL of the insides of two units which is about 20 percent of the job.
Is Wickes ever going to drag warehousing in line?
Don't go on line for delivery if you can help it. That's our opinion. On line we only got the slow track Net Zero Carbon route. Maybe that's my Windows 11 PC running Edge. So make those phone calls and get things on track.
But then… what if your architect (our daughter) or would be builder works out a slightly better layout you maybe want to tweak (a tiny bit) the design and unit layout?
In our case we merely wanted an extra three door cupboard. Yet again sales rise to the occasion and this was promised, some time ago, and with some effort from sales for delivery and as it happened -yesterday.
Well I got a call from “customer service” at 2 pm the day before yesterday and I was about to tell this person his company was ahead of the wave!
By the way don't bother to call them back unless you have 30 to 40 minutes to waste. I hung up. They never answered. They do NOT answer the phone. They can get you NOT the other way around.
I speak too quickly and wearily says "I might be able to change” this opinion.
“I am looking at your delivery tommorrow and only half of its going to be there. You get the cupboard but not the drawers.
Well he was right and just like the insides of a 1 metre cupboard, which is missing from the first delivery the 3 drawer cupboard also arrived without the drawers - just the front facades.
How does this happen Wickes?

We have just had a new kitchen designed by Simon Brace and fitted by Phil Ward. We are happy with both the design which has transformed light into the room with more accommodation and space. The installation was timely and excellently installed. The project management ensured we had all the materials on time and enabled Phil to complete the kitchen successfully and to a high standard. So thanks Simon, Phil and the project management team.

After a bathroom installation I had a problem with my toilet . Terrible after sales service . Still can’t get anybody to come out after several telephone calls . They’ve told me to get an emergency plumber . I’ve got 2 years warranty . I won’t stop till it’s sorted . But definatly wouldn’t use them again . Terrible company.
Can you resend me the form you sent me please the one to understand my experience . I submitted by accident before I’d completed the form

Having recently purchased a kitchen designed by Colin Woodhouse we did not hesitate to return to request him to design a new bathroom for us. Colin was very welcoming, friendly, polite and had many years of experience to offer. Despite the need for us to make numerous visits to change the design nothing proved too much trouble as his priority is always to achieve exactly what the customer requires. We are very pleased and proud with the new bathroom and completely satisfied with the final result. We would like to give our very grateful thanks to Colin for his hard work. He is a real asset to Wickes Shrewsbury. We shall certainly recommend him to other people.
