Just left Wickes (after failing to get what I needed at B&Q) to purchase a small step ladder and a telescopic rake. The staff especially Lisa and Stacey were extremely helpful and full of smiles and I got exactly what I was looking for!
Thank you Wickes!

Purchased a filler which, having returned home, I realised that I already had a spare in store.
I returned the following day,and Rebecca at the Stirling store could not have been more helpful in organising a refund.
Lovely demeanour, great customer service!

Ordered a new kitchen in January from Wickes, sales associate Louise was very helpful and helped with the design. We delayed delivery and fitting until June. All done from start to finish by Wickes. Reasonably priced, great quality kitchen. Delivered on time exactly when they said it would, delivery drivers stacked kitchen neatly and easily accessible in order for the fitter. Kitchen fitter Barry who works with McAuley Installation's arrived promptly the following week as planned, worked his socks off, on his own, finished the install on time, with no mess and no fuss, kept in touch with updates or any tweaks we might want, would highly recommend Barry, his finish was brilliant. All in all our experience from start to finish has been excellent, will be re-doing our main bathroom later this year and will go back to Wickes.

Following a visit to Stirling branch, our charity group applied to Wickes under their Community Programme for help with goods for a few projects we are working on. We dealt with Steven Waddell their Charity Champion in store who was extremely friendly and helpful, a pleasure to deal with. Picked up the goods from store today and are really grateful for the help Wickes have given our small charity.

We are currently having a pretty bad experience with a Wickes bathroom installation, mainly due to a lack of care by Wickes around ensuring design feasibility before work started. Our bathroom isn’t finished after over 2 months, with a much higher price tag than was agreed before work started, and we are likely to be left with a bathroom that gets soaked every time we have a shower.
Our install was barely project managed by Wickes and, based on our experience, customers do not get a single point of contact. This means when things go wrong the customer will end up being the middle person chasing everything up between the design team, the install customer experience team, customer service for Wickes online purchases (tiles), and the local contractors engaged by Wickes.
Our specific experience:
· Wickes did not carry out a proper survey to check that the design, completed in-store, was feasible on the ground, in terms of checking room dimensions or the hot water system. The Wickes assigned contractor sent to validate the design, measure up, and produce a final quote had not seen the design before arriving, which ultimately resulted in no checks to make sure that the shower tray could be placed as per the design, or that our hot water system was suitable for the mixer shower (our existing shower was a mixer, so we didn’t realise there could be an issue).
· These issues were not identified until AFTER our existing bathroom was ripped out and we had purchased the fittings to match the signed off design, giving us little option but to pay an extra £4k (and counting) to continue the work and get our bathroom back, and accept the layout changes. If these issues had been caught before work started we would have changed the design to make it more affordable and functional.
· Wickes were working to a different installation start date from the contractors. So, the bathroom furniture & fittings had not been delivered by Wickes when work started, and the Customer Experience team, who were supposed to support us through the install, were days late letting us know they even existed, which was not ideal given the issues we had from day 1.
· Wickes sent us different batches of wall tiles which were slightly different sizes, so were unusable. This was not identified until work started, took a week to resolve, and left us without a bathroom for much longer than planned or necessary. Our understanding now is that it is standard practice to provide tiles from the same batch to ensure consistency, and that Wickes are fully aware of this.
· There was no single point of contact or assigned project manager, and the various customer service and design teams have very defined responsibilities, so they will often just refer you to someone else when you have an issue.
· Luckily, I was able to work mostly from home for the 2 weeks, as someone needed to be available at short, or no notice for deliveries, tile returns, and to let in a range of contractors (it was suggested beforehand that this wouldn’t be necessary). There were also multiple days where I was in the house waiting for Wickes deliveries or contractors which did not show up (contributing to the delays).
· As it stands, we are left with an incomplete bathroom which does not quite match what we signed off on, was much more expensive than we were quoted or can really afford, and that floods every time we have a shower. We are chasing Wickes to resolve the shower issue, but they are slow to respond and there has been minimal progress. They have made little effort to help identify a considered and effective solution, instead just asking us what we think could work.

We had a bathroom fitted by the Wickes team at Stirling. Louise, the designer, offered brilliant advice about how to make the best use of the awkward space. The delivery of the new bathroom coordinated perfectly with the installation. The installation was efficient and the guys were friendly and professional. The cost of the bathroom was a lot less than I expected and I’m very happy with the results. Thank you!

Been waiting on a refund now for over 2 weeks. Communication with them is shocking, if they reply to an email it's 2 or 3 days after Iv sent it. Still no further forward. Will not be using them again

The staff member, Steven, was very friendly and helpful. He helped me outside with my order and when it wouldn't fit in my van took it back inside to rearrange for it to be delivered, made what could have been a stressful experience much less stressful!

We recently had a big order to pick up and drive north. It included two large and heavy sheets of ply which we had to safely attach to our roof bars, which took ages and was stressful. I asked for help when we couldn't get a ratchet tape to work: Jack sorted it calmly and with good grace. Also, Colin who'd given us the order was very friendly and encouraging throughout. A week later when I went back with two items we hadn't needed, these were refunded with no bother and, again, service couldn't have been friendlier. It makes so much difference! Thank you Stirling Wickes

I parked in Wickes Stirling carpark and was there for less than 2 hours looking at kitchens and bathrooms and purchasing some 'nomoreply boards. Subsequently I've received a parking charge notice for £100 from them stating that I was in their carpark too long. I don't recall seeing any notice in their carpark. There was a signpost that had been knocked over and was lying facedown but obviously I don't know what was on it. Absolutely shocking way to treat paying customers. Also, carpark was virtually empty.
