Two years ago we had the experience of a very Bad installation of both bathrooms. A customer service second to none, in terms of being so inexplicably useless and none existent. Ignored phone calls and lied to every time, by managers and customer service personnel. Lack of engagement and poor customer contacts. I wouldn't buy anything from this company ever again.

Louise was extremely helpful during our design consultation process and we a very happy with how our kitchen turned out.

I am speaking here on behalf of my 83 year old mother who purchased a £20,000 kitchen from this company of shysters. While under warranty my mothers kitchen needed some warranty work done, warranty work that is this companies legal responsibility. This warranty issue was started in Jan-Febuary this year 2024. At present we have been sent schematics of the workings of the door that requires attention and told to get on with it.
This level of service is utterly appalling and I am seriously considering going directly to their CEO or possibly the press to hold them to their warranty obligations.
If you are considering buying from this company I would consider the above very carefully.

Tried to book a bathroom design appointment at the Stirling branch through the website. Put in my requested date and time. Get a text message from Louise saying my appointment is no longer available and if I wish to make another, get back in touch. I felt this was pretty shoddy service to be honest, it came across like she didn’t want my business and wasn’t interested in offering me another time or date. Massive red flag right, so I’ll be avoiding Wickes, and by the looks of these reviews, I’ve made the right decision.

I was looking to replace my kitchen and louise at wickes Stirling was first class. Helped me with amazing design and price was much better than BQ and howdens. Units come with solid back panels not flimsy as other supplier. Looking for new bathroom soon so I know where to go

I received a bathroom suite and tiles from wickes Stirling and had great service start to finish. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. The delivery was smooth and on time, couldn’t fault.
Came back for additional items and staff were very helpful.

My mother-in-law has bought a kitchen from Wickes (Stirling), she is in her eighties. The kitchen was supposed to be started last Wednesday but the only person who has shown up so far is the Wickes installer to take £1120.00 of her for materials, he has never been seen since. My mother-in-law burst into tears when I visited her on Saturday as she had been given a delivery date of 19th October for her new kitchen. This will effectively leave her with no kitchen for almost a month as we have moved everything out for the installation. I know Wickes will reply asking her to contact them, the usual de-escalation procedures same when you call them also. The truth is they have been contacted on several occasions and visited in store to complain but we are no further forward. Don't go near them. We keep getting passed from pillar to post.
Once they have your cash they will treat you like trash.
In reply to you Scott-
We have visited the store 29th September, spoken to several people on the phone to no avail. Today we were told we would be called back by Elliot. No call received. 30th September 19.53hrs.
Further update 1/10/24 17.08hrs.
Still no phone call from Elliot so my wife called yet again on her mothers behalf. Got Robyn this time usual de-escalation nonsense (I don't know why this has happened we will look into it for the sixth time). Robyn said to wait a minute while a call was made to the Wickes installer. Unbelievably my wife actually got a call back which is really something for Wickes. However Robyn said the installers phone went straight to answer machine.
So according to Robyn we are now in a 48hour (2 day) standstill period with the installer. That will however be hard when the Wickes Installer doesn't answer his phone.
My 80+ year old Mother-in-law will have to wait another two days to know what is happening.
Please do not put yourself through this stress my Mother-in-law is heartbroken. The Wickes installer still has her £1120.00. We will get the usual reply from Wickes asking us to contact them. My answer to that is read my review. I have even named your employees.
2nd October 2024 14.25hrs
Nothing to update as Wickes are in a 48 hour standstill period with their installer. Still no installers money returned. The kitchen is now a full week behind schedule. Elliot has never called back after promising to do so on the 30th September.
Thursday 3rd October.16.47hrs
Wickes kitchen now over a week late now. My wife spoke to Winetta today. Usual 'so sorry to hear about this'. Been escalated Manager, Brogan is supposed to call us back later, this hasn't happened yet and unlikely to happen. Elliot not called back yet promised to call back on Monday this is now Thursday. Onto Carol now 16.52hrs. Usual rubbish from her too. Once they have ur cash they will treat you like trash.
I decided to pop in store to warn other customers this evening. I don't think they liked this too much. I will be in Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday if we don't get this resolved satisfactorily. Unfortunately I am working Saturday until around 14.00hrs otherwise I would be in first thing. If you have any friends or family planning a kitchen let them know.
08.12am Friday 4th October
Called and asked for the Store Manager who tried to treat me like a school boy. Listen to me type. We are fed up listening to them. They need to listen to us. They have taken £11000 off an 80+ year old anda further £1120 off my mother-in-law from the Wickes installer. I will be in store warning others about them. Terrible customer service and attitudetowards their customers.
15.31hrs Friday 4/10/24
My wife was told McDaid the installation manager would call us Monday. We have been told Elliot and McDaid would call us on several previous occasions and this has never happened. So we know it will not happen on Monday.
Spending a lot of money and getting a new kitchen should be an exciting time but unfortunately this has been an awful experience so much so we are cancelling the order tomorrow. We expect a full refund for my mother-in-law 5 days from now for the kitchen and also the £1120.00 taken from mother-in-law by the Wickes installer. My 80+ yo mother in law has been without a kitchen now for 10 days as the new installation was supposed to start on the 25/9/2024. Please do not go to Wickes they are an absolutely disgraceful organisation to deal with.
Monday 7th October
New kitchen ordered from Howdens. Far better dealing with a local supplier that we can pop in and speak to. Howden keep kitchens in stock and have given us the details of the local installer. They will remain however the single point of contact throughout the installation process. Far better set up.

Following on from complaints last year, I again find myself complaining about Wickes. They put right what was wrong at the time but no compensation.
In June 24 I had to contact them again as the joint on my worktop (which was supposed to be invisible), has split open.
I am still awaiting resolution.
As it is now more than 8 weeks since my original complaint on this matter I am going to the ombudsman. I have retained all emails.
If I could afford it I would have the full disaster that they call a kitchen, ripped out and replaced by someone else.

After quite a severe leak, from my shower unit, which destroyed my hall ceiling, I called Wickes for help, as am within my two year warranty period. Initially customer service were concerned and apologetic, but once we got going with emails, they became very dismissive. I was asked to send pictures of the shower unit and hall ceiling damage, which I did, but continued to stress to the young man dealing with me, that I believed it was a damaged pipe under the shower unit, due to the volume of water that poured out. He was quite set on his opinion that it was poor grout or insufficient sealant that was to blame. I assured him it was not and my appeals went unheeded, and I was told case closed as it was a care and maintenance issue. I was very disappointed and asked if they would agree to me finding a Plumber and having him assess the shower situation and if care and maintenance, then of course I would deal with it, but if a pipe issue, they will of course fix it. The young man at customer service agreed to this, saying to send in plumber’s report. As I expected, the plumber assessed the situation, it is a leaking pipe under the shower unit. The report was sent to Wickes customer service, as requested, and here I am, days later, still awaiting a response that probably won’t arrive. Absolutely disgraceful. I have been without my shower two weeks now, and as it is within warranty, I should have had someone from Wickes installation team out to help me remedy a problem of their making.
