Greg sorted out my paint for me straight away and was kind in the process.

Amy was great and made it all so simple. We got a great kitchen for a good price!

Really helpful and knowledgeable. Mitchell in particular was very helpful for me understanding the type of paint, how to paint and the nuances I didn’t know about.

Great service when I visited the store last week. Greg gave me great advice on the best tiles to use for my bathroom so appreciate the extra service

We are really pleased with our new Wickes kitchen. Our designer Ollie was extremely helpful throughout. There were a few hiccups along the way but Ollie found solutions to resolve these immediately. Ollie was very responsive, polite and professional at all times and we would like to thank him for his help.

Amy in WGC branch worked seamlessly to help me get my dream kitchen. The project was filled with problems and delays at my end and Amy done everything to make it happen and overcame all obstacles I threw at her. She’s polite, courteous, intelligent and punctual, she really know her stuff. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her for any planning and design, she’s an asset to Wickes. Mandy

We have just refurbished our kitchen and shower room. Oliver Beatie our designer was excellent throughout the whole process. Whilst the fitters were speedy and did a great job Ollie was always helpful solving any issues along the way - nothing was too much trouble. Totally professional. We are very happy with the design too so thank you 😊.

Today I went to Hatfield Wickes and bought a lawnmower - however, when I got it home and unpacked it to assemble it I couldn’t work out how to assemble the handles and thought there was a manufacturer error with the screw. I drove back to my nearest branch in Welwyn Garden City frustrated; emotional and upset and spoke with Steve to inform him of my issue and could he assess the situation. Steve stood back and observed what I had done then proceeded to assemble the handles correctly- even explaining how to keep screwing in the black screw at the base of the lawnmower so it fully threads through.
Steve is a credit to Wickes as his customer service is exemplary - he went above and beyond - Steve deserves employee of the month!

Our kitchen designer Amy (WGC branch ) was excellent, couldn’t do enough to help us pick our kitchen.
Kitchen fitters made an amazing job and nothing was too much trouble.

Cannot thank Wickes Welwyn Garden enough, this time massive shout out to Michael , Greg and Frankie....

I popped in to see some kitchen worktops and Michael got the forklift out and took several down so I could compare. Then Greg came along and helped too. Not only did they both take the kitchen worktops down they also helped me choose and decide. They provided a lot of care and input into helping me making my decision.

In the middle of that Frankie came along and also helped me to choose then helped with a different query I had around oven housing and took me to the area were the plint, end panel and housing were as I was going to B+Q but he saved me a trip.

In the end I bought both worktops plus all the other bits too.

This is the second time in 2 months I have received exceptional customer service, kindness and support from the Welwyn branch.

I almost am hesitating to send this in out of fear if word catches I will somehow lose out on the excellent support I receive every time from this store.

I don’t usually leave reviews but I had such a brilliant experience at Wickes in Welwyn Garden City that I had to say something.

I was sent there by my builder and honestly had no clue what I was doing. I wasn’t sure what to ask for or where to find anything. But from the moment I walked in, Shereese, Dora and Nathaniel were so welcoming, patient and incredibly helpful. They made me feel at ease straight away, took the time to guide me through everything and explained things clearly without ever making me feel silly for not knowing.

Their kindness and professionalism really stood out and to top it off, they even brought all the items to my car and helped me load them. That level of service is rare these days and truly appreciated.

It is also clear that the whole team works so well together because of the amazing manager. The positive atmosphere and team spirit are obvious. It is no surprise the staff are so lovely and helpful when they are clearly part of such a well-led and supportive environment.

Thank you all so much. You turned a confusing errand into a really pleasant experience. I will definitely be back and will be recommending this branch to others!

I have been using this branch for some time. Always well stocked and friendly staff. I found Piotr very helpful today who helped me find sand for a children’s sandpit.
