Wickes - Woking Reviews 

I recently visited Wickes Woking and was pleased with the overall customer service, from the beginning of my shopping to the end. I was helped. Special thanks to Rachel and her colleague (sorry I forgot to ask for your name. Promise to ask for you next time i visit Wickes!) for their excellent customer service. Both were really helpful. I’d be happy to shop there again

I had to make a fast visit to Wickes Woking to purchase a replacement hosepipe which I know very little about! Brian took me to the range of products and was very helpful in supporting my choice explaining the benefits of my final selection. Thanks Brian & also to Peter who was very patient with me at check out!

Outstanding Service from Wickes, Woking, and Oakley Developments
We engaged Wickes, Woking to obtain a quote for the replacement of our en-suite bathroom.
The process commenced with a visit to the store to schedule an appointment. Their designer, Zoe, conducted an initial site visit to draft preliminary plans and presented several layout options. Although I had a general idea of what I wanted, I was not entirely certain. Zoe diligently revised the designs until we finalized our requirements.

At the store, we selected our bathroom suite, accessories (including the all important electric toothbrush holder!), and the largest illuminated bathroom mirror available.
We also chose tiles, units, and work surfaces.
The installation was carried out by Oakley Developments, a Wickes-approved installer. The installation was scheduled to take approximately two weeks from start to finish.
Our installer demonstrated exceptional professionalism, maintaining a tidy workspace and managing the majority of the installation independently.
We encountered a minor issue with the shower due to an issue with the pump, which was promptly and efficiently resolved by Aqualisa.
Overall, I am highly impressed with the entire process from inception to completion with Wickes and Oakley Developments. I wholeheartedly recommend their services

Extremely satisfied with the service received especially from Jazmine and one of her colleagues. We came quite late, very close to the closing time but she was very kind and helpful along with her colleague as well they stayed overtime to help us with some mixed Dulux paint. Well done I'm very pleased with their service. 👍🏻

I honestly can’t recommend Brian at Wickes Woking enough. We were struggling to find a bath cover that was just right, and after giving up hope, Brian stepped in and found the perfect one for us. He was so patient, attentive, and genuinely cared about helping us get it right — it felt like talking to a friend who really wanted to see us happy.

He also took the time to help us pick the right paint, listening carefully to what we needed and offering honest advice. Throughout the whole process, he was kind, approachable, and really made us feel valued.

We need more Brians in the world — people who go the extra mile with a smile and real kindness. Thank you so much, Brian, for making our experience so positive. You’ve made a lasting impression!

I've had a tree stump ground out and I needed soil to fill the hole. 25 litre bags of Wickes Top Soil was good quality and did just what I wanted. However I couldn't handle getting the bags into my car but a very friendly and willing Alessandro did this for me and I would like to thank him once again.

Wickes kitchen from the Woking branch gets a 1-star rating because 0-star is not an option. We made the mistake of parting with £16k for what is quite a small kitchen, in advance. 5 months after starting the work our kitchen, while usable, is still unfinished. I've never encountered such an unhelpful customer services team. There has been a litany of errors in the design, ordering of components, inept fitting and finishing, supply and delivery problems and unfulfilled promises. I strongly recommend anyone to look elsewhere for a kitchen or at the very least, employ your own contractor to fit it. If our experience is in the least bit amusing, the real joke is the fact that our house is 50 metres from the store and showroom the kitchen was ordered from. I've lived here for many years and when I think of the amount of money I must have spent in that Wickes over those years and they don't even have the decency to engage in any meaningful way over how they propose to rectify the problem.

The process from choosing online, getting updates on, and through to actual delivery of goods, was flawless. The people I spoke with from both Wickes and Citysprint were consistently polite, professional and went the extra mile to ensure the process was smooth. I highly recommend both Wickes and Citysprint staff. Thanks to all concerned.

Jess took a lot of trouble and time to make sure the grass trimmer I bought would be suitable for my needs. She was very patient too.

It was an Einhell 1PXC18v lawn trimmer and I am very pleased with it.

She ensured that I got everything I needed and made sure she asked a lot of questions to suit my preferences and my budget. I also would like to thank Wickes for carefully picking out their workers. They are doing great!

I have used Wickes in Woking quite a lot recently as I am doing a lot of renovation on my house. On my last visit a member of staff called Brian was particularly helpful when I asked him about flooring. I bought what he recommended and it was really straightforward to lay and it looks great.

The staff is very helpful with lifting heavy material, excellent service.
