I had an hour’s pre-booked appointment. The member of staff was patient and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for her. It has been increasingly difficult to get comfortable and well fitting shoes until I discovered DB. I travelled from North Wales to Rushden and it was well worth the journey. Such a range of styles and colours. Well made quality shoes. I will be buying more.

Excellent service! I was welcomed by assistants Sue and Jackie who first of all measured my feet and advised on the size/fit to try. I was then assisted to try on the various shoes I picked out. Nothing was too much trouble - several pairs in the colour/size I wanted had to be fetched from the warehouse. Very well worth the trip to Rushden.

Went back to the store today as I’ve been before with a friend and even though I didn’t have an appointment both the lovely ladies waited on me. I got two pairs of lovely shoes for my holiday. Nothing was too much trouble. I got to try on a few pairs of shoes. Had a laugh and giggle with the ladies.
Always feel welcome. Always feel important.

I visited the shop this morning to collect an order I had placed online. I decided to try the shows on before I leaving just in case and while I was there, tried on another pair and bought it! The staff were kind and very helpful; especially when they pointed out that my lymphoedema means I don't have to pay VAT on my shoes. Result: a great pair of shoes and a discount.

My husband and I visited the shop this morning and had our feet measured due to the fact we had not
dealt with the company before. The Advisor was so very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her. Such a welcome change. The shoes we chose are so very comfortable and it was well worth our journey from Sudbury Suffolk.

The Advisor welcomed us as soon as we arrived ,introducing herself as Sue. After listening attentively
to my footwear requirements she showed us a selection of styles that she felt might be suitable. Of this selection I chose 3/4 styles I hoped would fit. As I have orthotics that are bulky it was a case of removing the shoe insoles and replacing with my own which Sue did checking the now fit of the styles that I had chosen. After walking in each style Sue advised which she felt fitted the best and I said which were the most comfortable so between us we managed to find 3 styles I thought would be satisfactory. What made my choices even easier was that Sue then told me that I could try them at home for up to 2 weeks and she also gave me a free returns postal slip if they turned out not to be satisfactory. I have kept all 3 and the service I received from Sue was excellent well worth travelling to the shop from Stafford.

The shoes I ordered were comfortable and lovely. They were very expensive so I kept for best. First time wearing I must have scuffed them somehow . They are dark burgundy .. I looked down and saw a huge white area on the toe box!
They must be coated in a thin film of something that comes off easy.
They now look awful and I am so disappointed that I have wasted so much money.

I had to find some footwear for my new orthotics and this was not going to be an easy task. Sue and Karen were amazing. Helpful, professional and understanding. They listened to my views on what I needed and they had a good knowledge of the products available to me. I can’t thank them enough.
Yes, the boots were a higher price but, the quality was spot on and they are extremely comfortable and supportive. I would highly recommend.

A delight to deal with a company that really believes in knowledgeable customer care and doesn't rip off its customers because it has a niche product.

Our first visit to Rushden was a wonderful experience . I went with a list chosen from the catalogue and didn’t for one minute expect to have all of the shoes in my size and my width fitting. For both Karen & Jacky nothing was too much trouble, even the lady bringing the shoes from the warehouse was so happy and smiley.
When you’re looking to buy something you want a great product and great service and I got both,so good , I came away with ‘five’ pairs of shoes. Well worth travelling all the way from Shrewsbury .

The staff Sue and Jackie/Jenny welcomed us warmly and attended to our every need with helpful hints and advice. We were shown a good selection of shoes to choose from and our choice completed with no pressure and the cost was reduced with a discount. We will come again for Sandals.

On arriving at DB Wider fit shoes I was made welcome by the 2 shoe fitting personnel. My feet were measured, I was then shown the range of shoes & trainers. on choosing the stiles the correct items were collected from the stock. Trial fitting commenced removing the extra innersoles to ensure the correct fit. { was very happy with my selection and fit of trainers & shoes.

First time visit to Rushden. My wife and I were both very impressed by the friendly and attentive service offered by Sue and Jackie who made us feel very welcome. They were very knowledgable about the DB stock and offered us lots of choices for shoes they thought we might like. We came away with two new pairs of shoes each and would certainly recommend this store for people with problem feet.

Excellent experience. I phoned and made an appointment for a fitting, and was greeted at the door by a very patient member of staff who helped me identify three pairs of shoes - some sensible boots, trainers and sandals. I have NEVER had such choice - the range just gets better and better and I left with three pairs of shoes for just over £200 - comparable with high street prices but so much more comfortable and, if previous purchases are anything to go by, durability. One very, very happy customer.

I have found it almost impossible to obtain shoes that fit me. 'Wide' shoes advertised online and in the high street just aren't wide enough. Incredibly helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff made sizeing, finding and buying shoes that fitted really easy. They come with 2 removable insoles that increase the likelihood of a good fit. The range of widest fit shoes is huge.
I cannot recommend DB Rushden highly enough.

This firm was a revelation! The stock is huge and the staff were extremely knowledgeable, patient and helpful. They produced appropriate, comfortable and good-looking shoes for my large and distorted old feet and appeared to have all the time in the world to get things right for me.
I bought two pairs on this, my first visit and will certainly go back again for summer shoes

Today was a very expensive day!. I left my appointment with a pair of walking boots, a pair of trainers and a pair of flat shoes for work. £35 on fuel to drive up from the South coast as well. Fortune spent, but I'm absolutely delighted!. I haven't been able to get comfy trainers for at least 12 years. Walking boots and shoes always have to be too long to get the necessary width. They are never really comfy and by the time I've walked them in they are falling apart so I'm nearly always in scruffy shoes, especially where finding shoes is just so much effort that I normally leave it until I'm desperate. I used to use Clarkes but they have changed their manufacturer and their wide fitting shoes are now much too narrow. All three pairs of my new shoes are so comfortable. It’s a real joy to wear them. The ladies in the shop were very kind and very helpful. They are however incredibly busy so it really is important to book your visit and then attend your appointment on time. If you do that you will get an hour of 1:1 time, plenty of opportunity to try a wide range of shoes and you can be sure that there is time to fit you with the shoes that meet your needs and preferences. I will definitely recommend this shop and the service to anyone who's feet are too wide for most shoes whether it's just a little or one heck of a lot. As for me, now that I have been fitted and am confident of the size, toe shapes and sort of fit that works It'll be so easy to order off the catalogue by post from now on. DB shoes have a new regular customer.

Super service at Rushden Wider Fit shoes. I booked an appointment on the day and spent an hour with a very patient, knowledgeable and professional shoe fitter . I tried on many pairs of sandals and then selected two pairs of sandals and a pair of trainers. It is a really good idea to go for a fitting as the fit can be different for each style. I am very pleased with my purchases. Definitely will go again. My feet are pain free as they can spread out and the shoes are very soft leather.

These shoes were a gift for my mum. The width is fine and easy to put on however the shoe strap and the design of the shoe means her foot is not well protected on the top, with her sock showing through. Considering the price of the shoe the design is faulty. I have to say I am not at all happy with this purchase. Her foot is not well protected. A terrible shame. May return the item.
