This company is a black hole

This company is a black hole. The only thing that escapes is your money, as they send you an "order received" email, promptly charge your credit card for your order and then do, literally, nothing else. They do not answer their phones, you cannot leave a phone message, their outgoing phone message says they are available through email, but messages sent to their wrhardware.com address and their windowdoorparts.com address go unanswered. And, of course, we have not received the parts we ordered.Also i pay extra money for 2/3 days delivery the parts never delivery i have to wait an other 19 days anderrsen window parts shop company sucks never buy again

I just want to thank Tyler for taking the time to fit my windows! It's so awesome to open them up on nice days!
Tyler had patience and could access a knowledge base for over 40 year old andersen windows. I had to order x2 but the 2nd Time was the charm. THANK YOU TYLER!

The company is real, just takes awhile to deliver

The company is real. The product arrived. The communication needs to be improved. If the staff at the company is extremely busy, it would help to have someone assigned to communication with customers to let them know the order was received and the approximate timing of the delivery.

I ordered a letter plate on the 14th…

I ordered a letter plate on the 14th December 2023. Prompt email confirming my order and told I would be advised on delivery. Money was taken from my bank on the 14th. I have not received any communication since. If Customer Services read this review can you please reply here or email me with regard to delivery please. It’s now the 3rd January 2024 still not heard from this company so I am going to get in touch with Trading Standards and also my bank. This situation is appalling way to treat customers. Beware ! I thought I would try ringing this Company and the phone was answered by John. I explained about my order and he has arranged a new letter plate to be dispatched asap. I am now awaiting delivery. I will update when I receive my order. After speaking to John yesterday I have just received the letter plate I ordered in December. It is good quality and I am pleased to have finally received it. Thanks to John.

Satisfied Customer

Reasonably intuitive site. Had to look around to find the window size selector. Found what I needed, ordered 3, read the description and realized it would take a few business days to receive my order. Took less time than anticipated. Goods were in appropriate condition. Problem of mine solved. Thank you!

Worse than bad

Worse than bad. I made an order that consisted of four components. I received only three. In spite of all efforts to contact them by email and phone, I've yet to receive a reply. It's been over three weeks now and I still haven't heard a peep from them. To make it worse, I've had to issue a full refund to a disgruntled customer who got tired of waiting too long and hired another company to finish the job.

It appears that this vendor is always ready with an excuse and will never admit fault. And now they've stooped to adding insults. Great way to build a business.

I placed an order in the fall for…

I placed an order in the fall for window cranks that were in stock, and ask when I would be receiving the order after 3 weeks and told I should have them in 2 more weeks, after requesting updates for 6 months finally requested a credit (normally companies don’t charge unless shipment takes place) and receiving no response, if you call you get the same recording of how busy they are and to use email? Incredibly bad customer response!!!!

Horrible Customer Service and subpar Website

I was looking for parts for an older Anderson slider. Called (3) times in an attempt to confirm that I was ordering the correct parts. After waiting 30+ minutes on hold for each call, I hung up in frustration and ordered the parts. Two of the parts are not correct. As they are special order I will have to pay return shipping AND a 25% restocking fee. Horrible customer service and a subpar website. AVOID!!!

We have NO record of this and suspect it to be a competitor. You could not of waited 30 minuets on the phone because the phone prompter passes it through. Andersen is proprietary hardware and we do not show Andersen parts. If you have a legitimate concern and are a legitimate customer please email service@windowdoorparts.com with your correct contact information.

Ordered door parts for sliding glass door July 25, 2020, received confirmation of payment and shipping charge with an approximate delivery date of 10 days. Emailed company and was told within 45 days, we’ll here it is September 22, 2020, not sure but I believe that’s almost 90 days but still nothing. Would like a refund or parts ASAP, done with this company. Never again very poor business.

Two handles ordered, ONE received.

Ordered two (special order) of the same storm door handles. Only 1 was shipped/received. Also surprised no email was sent informing me item was shipped and tracking #. I sent email requesting refund for door handle that was not received. We'll see how that goes. I will mention the door handle is stylish, well made and basically the same as the one that came with the storm door years ago. Although I feel it was somewhat expensive.

POOR POOR Service

Placed order and all was good. Had to request a status update to track shipping. They stated order had been returned by USPS as the address couldn't be found. confirmed address was correct with your office. They opted to give me a credit rather than work out the shipping issue. BAD BUSINESS

Disappointed

Sorry to give poor review, I rarely do this.
I ordered 2 in-stock window part styles on July 8; no feedback, no answer to phone calls
About 2 weeks later when I cancelled the order, I received an email saying that they have just shipped.
I had already received parts from another company, and it was not worth the time to return $20 worth of parts.
