Super high quality yarn, great instructions. I've loved all my Wool and the Gang projects.

The baby hat and booties set came with one gauge needle but the instructions require two sizes. The videos online were helpful.

Website was easy to use, the quality of the wool is excellent, the pattern is easy to follow and I love the fact that once the kit arrives, you are ready to go - the hardest part is choosing a style and colour with so many to choose from.

A tank top. And a crochet bag.

The tank top I did enjoy. There are irritations- you can’t actually link from the instructions to the right video so it’s easier just to You Tube it. They also see to give you the basic instructions but miss really key skills like “picking up stitches” to reattach to the work which I’ve never done before and wasn’t explained at all. But I like the end result and it worked. Despite my hopelessness.

The crochet bag I hate. I hate the finished article and I more or less loathed every moment of working on it. The raffia is evil unpleasant to work either way it tangles if you breathe near it. And the finished bag is too floppy to really use at all. Not like the pictures.

After decades…yes, decades…of learning to knit, attempting, becoming frustrated and giving up, Wool and Gang has given me the tools and confidence! Easy instruction, great wools and colours and patterns. Yup, I am proud and everyone is getting a scarf fur their birthday.

Quality wool. Lots of information about the care and construction the garment I was making. So much help available if needed and online support available too.
I met this company at a yarnfest and loved the different yarns.
When buying direct from them online the packaging was great to keep the product safe in transit.
Would definitely recommend and use again.

I received a Wool and the Gang scarf kit for Christmas. Best Christmas present ever. I love the yarn and knitting the scarf was relaxing so I ordered 4 more balls of yarn in different colors to make 2 more scarfs. They’re beautiful and warm.

There is no instruction. Just a box of not enough material to knit a sweater. Now i have no idea what to do. Such a scam!

The yarn is lovely. The pattern easy.

Great yarn, love the quality of the knitting needles, but the sizing is wonky. I picked my normal size when ordering a kit and when I completed my project, it was too small and too tight around the arms, which was really upsetting. I’ve used many patterns before and am a pretty confident knitter, and I’ve heard WATK reviews often mention the wonky sizing.

I made two orders - the second order arrived quickly, but the second was stuck at the delivery depot. I had to follow up with WATG to get the first order delivered. Customer Services were excellent - I emailed on the Friday and the package got moving soon enough to arrive the next day.

However, I'm disappointed as I have already found mistakes in the Eilda pattern. For example, where 9 stocking rows = 10cm, the pattern provides measurements "31 cm from the cast on edge (approx 14 rows)" and later "54.5cm from the cast on edge (approx 21 rows)" suggesting over 20cm are gained over 7 rows.

The pattern confuses overall project length with the number of rows. If 9 rows = 10cm, 31cm is roughly 28 rows, not 14. The first instruction should read "31cm from the cast on edge (approx 14 rows FROM THE LAST COLOUR CHANGE)" in order to make sense.

I can fix this myself - I have knit for several years at this point - but Eilda is classified as an "Easy" project. It would be hard for beginners to catch this error. The patten needs to be revised, but how many other of WATG's pattens contain such errors?

From total beginner to knitter. I have liked the process the yarn, tool, and book are great. The videos are super helpful. I would love it they send you a link to their YouTube with a play list of all the videos you would need for the project. Instead of me searching for the clips I need each step.

Been knitting for a year now and wool and the gang is my go to source for yarn and knitting kits. They have amazing quality yarns in color selections! Great for all skill level! I tell so many of my friends who are thinking about getting into knitting to go to wool and the gang!!

Love the yarns -- I favor cotton or wool. Colors sometimes not quite what I expected, and often many are not available. Sales notices can be misleading as the reduction is only available for a few colors.
