Honestly I was quite disappointed with our experience, we got there and had to wait an hour just to get to the parking, which was fairly organised but getting there was a pain. Then when we finally go... See more

Good day to be had
Arrived early and made the best of the good weather.
We planned our day/afternoon from the days schedule as advertised not expecting to stay more than a few hours but found we actually stayed till after 6. Plenty to eat and drink, some ques at some of the stalls and prices were as expected!.

We had a fab day out
We had a fab day out. Never seen monster truck show before and it was very entertaining. Also loved the motorbikes and parachutes.
The music was great and there was a happy family feel to the place.
Everything ran to time as well.
Just be prepared to pay loads extra when you are in there as fairground and bouncy castle park all extra. Food and drink also very expensive so take your own.

Went to springfest
Went to springfest, 3 kids all under 12.. Very expensive for what it was, the monster trucks were good, and enjoyed the motor cross bikes. The fair rounds were ridiculously expensive, as was the food.. other then fair rides, nothing else to do.. wished their was some stalls to look at. We wouldn't go back again.

Abingdon Springfest 2024
Amazing Day! Came from the south west (for the Wurzels) but loves every moment & will be looking forward to other events in the future, please bring back the Wurzels! :D
There was a hiccup here & there, one of the monster trucks broke down but these things happen & it didn't put a spoiler on a great day. Food & Drink availability was great, lots of choice at fair prices & the restrooms were above standard for most festivals.
Even the weather was on side! See you again SpringFest! :)

Ticket prices seemed expensive for what…
Ticket prices seemed expensive for what the event offered.
Because of the stage noise I couldnt hear the event announcements and missed most of them.
The music was also unfortunately mixed badly.
The Monstertruck show was really old school trucks (1990s) so very little wow factor.
Food and ride prices were okay, but some felt very high.
I couldnt find any free water stations that I would expect from an event like this

Fun but EXPENSIVE!!!
It was a fun day out and the monster trucks and motor cross displays were awesome, however, everything was SO EXPENSIVE. Entry tickets for a family of 4, lunch, drinks, a ride on the bumper cars and a go in the mirror maze was easily £200 if not more.
The mirror maze was actual daylight robbery, £16 for 4 of us and it genuinely took 20 seconds to walk through it!!
The queue for the monster truck ride was over an hour long and it was £10 per person for the ride, we decided against it in the end. I would recommend the event as a whole but make sure to watch what you choose to spend your money on. And take a packed lunch to save ££.

Monster trucks a big hit
Took my grandchildren to see the monster trucks however one was queuing for 3 hours to ride on one and the other could not see the show as so many adults stood in front of her so was unable to see them, if it wasn’t for the monster trucks doing an extra show in the evening my grandchildren wouldn’t have seen them, selfish people laying their blankets out in front of fence taking up so much room and stopping other from watching the show!!
Drinks, ice creams and foods overpriced. Take your own!!
On a positive note it was well organised and a fab day had by all.

Weak show
Weak show. Overpriced And nothing really to Watch. Never again. Wasted time And money.
Good but extremely expensive
The entrance tickets were fairly expensive. I was expecting that to be the case because it was advertised as a monster truck show. The monster truck show was not that great. Really cool machines and awesome to look at, but there were only two in the show, they were really old and the just drove over a line of cars and that was it. There was another pair the doing passenger rides that were doing way more than the ones in the show. Unfortunately the queue for the passenger ride was over 2 hours, all day. My child just couldn't wait in a queue that long so we missed out. The motocross was absolutely amazing. That should have been the main advertising point really, they were great. Lots of big stunts and two long shows despite the dangerous conditions.
The fair was an absolute scandal. Rides were £2 each at the start which is about average about fairs these days (still slightly overpriced considering the length of ride and the sheer volume of custom they get). But after lunch, some of the rides went up to £6 each! Outrageous. Don't get me wrong, the rides were amazing, but considering the amount of people there, they probably would have got more customers with cheaper rides. Maybe if the event had not charged them to be there, seeing as though the revenue from the door must have been huge it could have been more beneficial to the customers. Food stalls were plenty and varied and normal event prices so that was not too bad and to be expected. More seating for eating and chilling would have been nice, instead of selling overpriced seats on site which is a bit naughty. It is supposed to be a family event for children too. Overall it was really good experience, but it ended up costing more than a theme park but with way less stuff. The live music was good (for the adults. Not sure the children are into ska and the Worzels). Never saw the alcohol prices, queues were just too long.

Disappointing, did not deliver
This was our first time and although we were among those that fell for the smart advertising, it failed to deliver. The monster truck broke down 3mins into the first show which was hugely disappointing with no contingency plan in place. The entrance fee is astronomical for what was essentially a standard county field fair with over priced fair rides. The one thing we enjoyed was the helicopter simulator which was badly advertised, if at all, and we only came across it because we thought it was a toilet. Nonetheless, the simulator was great and instructed by a very engaging member of staff. The motocross was enjoyed by the children but again, all in all, absolutely not worth the entrance fee considering that all attractions have an additional premium price attached to them.

Fantastic family day at Springfest…
We had a fantastic time at Springfest on Sat 13 April. Well organised, lovely family event, traffic well directed coming in & leaving. Weather was perfect too & entertainment was varied . Security when we mislaid our 2yr old Grandson we’re brilliant too!

Awesome day out for the family
Awesome day out for the family. My kids loved the arena shows and the variety of food and drink traders was fantastic!

Was brilliant but very over priced
Personally I feel like the ticket prices were a bit steep for what it was! We had to wait 2.5hours for a monster truck ride, the food/fuunfair in general did cost a lot of money! Very expensive day out and wouldn’t particularly think it was worth it, would have been nice if there was more stalls as there was only a few. And if the toilets weee spread out not only at the front gates !

Very disappointing spring fest 2024
The kids enjoyed themselves, but both the park entry fee and the high ride prices were a letdown. It'd be fairer if all rides were £2.00 for the whole visit, not just the first two hours. Overall, this year's experience was disappointing.

Exciting day out for everyone !!
Myself and my two children took a trip up to abingdon last weekend to see Xplosive events Spring fest.
We had such a great time with a great mix of entertainment and excitement to keep both my kids (5 and 9) engaged all day.
As soon as we left they were both asking when can we go again, so of course we will be going to the Newbury summer fest in July without fail !!
