Big up Crieghton at Yellohire!!

Big up Crieghton at Yellohire!!! We was let down badly by another company and this chap jumped in and saved the day! Communication was amazing from start to finish, I will be recommending this company to colleagues and friends going forward.

Yellohire went above and beyond the call of duty

I can't speak highly enough of Clive from Yellohire. I was looking for a van at very short notice and Yellohire didn't have one available but Clive spent over an hour phoning around for me. He eventually found another company that had a van for me - not an affiliate or a business he had interests in, just a company he knew to be reputable.

If I need a van again in the future, I will certainly return - not to the company he recommended (although it was an excellent recommendation) but to Yellohire, for their kindness, professionalism and good faith.

This is something we can all learn from - other people in the same business as us are not our competitors but our collaborators, and recommending them rather than jealously guarding our clients from them creates a culture of goodwill.

Great customer service saved the day

I booked a van through Yellohire but didn't register that the confirmation I received was only a confirmation of my enquiry and not a confirmation of the booking. So it was a shock when I phoned the day before pickup to confirm the details to find that there was no agreement and no availability. However, the chap on the phone went to great lengths to arrange hire through a completely different firm; so it's obvious Yellohire really care about their customers.

Review as a supplier

We have now been working as a supplier for YelloHire since January 2016 and have been very happy with their services. As a relatively small company, we were initially sceptical about working as a supplier for a broker but the process has been incredibly straight forward and in almost two years working together we have received no problems with bookings or the hirers they have booked with us.

We recommend potential suppliers and customers alike to try them out; their team is courteous, professional and knowledgeable in the vehicle rental industry.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Creighton for contacting us back in late 2015 and subsequently using us as a supplier. We look forward to continuing our relationship into 2018.

No quibble refund even though my fault

Made a booking, paid £200.00.
Confusion at my end meant booking wasn't needed.
£200.00 refunded to my bank account 2 days later, no quibbles, even though my fault.
Nice people to talk to - family run, so not a soul-less call centre - they actually care about their customers and reputation.

Would never use yellohire again

Would never use yellohire again, all nice when taking your money not so nice when claiming the defund I am entitled to. 5 months of being patronised with excuses to now being completely ignored by creighton parry. I booke a car and paid a week before needed but didn't realise partner had book one elsewhere. Emailed, phoned both yellohire and Arnold Clark the very same day to cancel and according to their own terms and conditions I had cancelled within the time limit that entitled me to a full refund minus £15 fee. Have they refunded?? NO. Months of emails and excuses and basically being fobbed off I am still without my refund. I am now being ignored by mr Parry. I have saved every email and screenshot that prove I did everything by their rules and I'm pretty sure that they are now ignoring the terms they themselves have set out. Disgusting behaviour from this company and I'm pretty sure that as it's not a great deal of money ( to them not me) that they assume that I will not persue it but I will be looking at my options and if I don't hear from mr Parry soon then I am going to check with trading standards to see where I stand. A company to be avoided at all costs, they certainly are not interested in following their own protocol. Reply to yellowhire who have now answered after a year of silence, yellowhire are correct, I did not turn up for the car , THATS BECAUSE I CANCELLED IT THE WEEK BEFORE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THEIR OWN T&Cs OF CANCELLATION WILL INCURE A REFUND MINUS £15 FEE AS LONG AS ITS MORE THAN 24 HOURS, MY CANCELLATION WAS A WEEKS NOTICE, YELLOWHIRE ARE ALSO CORRECT THAT THEY OFFERED ME HALF MY MONEY BACK BUT CONSIDERING I DIDNT CANCEL HALF A CAR I WAS ENTITLED TO A FULL REFUND MINUS £15 NOT A SHUT UP AND GO AWAY GESTURE.I STAND BY MY REVIEW 100% THE FACTS ARE I CANCELLED WELL WITHIN TIME LIMIT AND YELLOWIRE AND ARNOLD CLARK BOTH FOBBED ME OFF. I WILL ALSO ADD THAT I HAD PROOF OF TIME I PHONED CLARKS TO CANCEL AND SURPRISE THE RECORDING WAS MISSING. SO WILL SAY AGAIN, AVOID AND JUST USE ENTERPRISE WHO WHERE FAB.

You booked a vehicle and did not turn up to collect it - we were charged for the full rental period by the branch and did not know you had not collected the vehicle until you requested a refund. We offered you a substantial refund in good faith which you turned down. You cannot order things - not turn up for them - and then expect your money back .

This company are Angels!

This company are Angels!
The company I had previously hired cancelled by booking the night before at 5pm. I phoned in an absolute overwhelmed state and they went out of their way to help be, going truly above and beyond.
It is rare to find people who can be so genuinely empathic and problem solve.
They found me a van, worked out an out of hours drop off and phoned after to ensure everything had gone to plan.
I don't know what I would have done without them and cannot recommend them highly enough!

There was nothing absurd about the service that was offered. The vehicle supplied was as ordered and correct.

The correct size of 7 Seater vehicle was booked & confirmed, as agreed with the customer.

The customer arrived at the branch with more people boxes and suitcases than would physically fit in the vehicle, safely and legally.

We try very hard to supply the correct vehicle for the purpose required but have to work with the facts that we are given. In this instance we were only asked to source and supply a 7 seater car.

Alternatives were offered at the branch to get the customer and his passengers to their destination but he did not want to take them.

The customer was given a full refund without question.

Hired van from this company day before i moved house told no longer available as broke down. offered me more expensive option at different location.

had to pay more and drive further, and they didn;t give two hoots.

Excellent Service

Friendly, approachable staff who will do their best to resolve any of your problems. Hired a Citroen Berlingo and later a Ford Transit Van. On collection vehicle is full of fuel. Very good pricing with no hidden surprises in terms of add-ons. I will continue to use this company.

Brilliant Service!!

Having an engineer stranded 100 miles from home with a broken down Transit - all his tools in the back of the van - there was only one way to get him and his tools home. Tried various "International" companies around Heathrow with no success - Yellohire came up with a Transit hire van within 30 mins and the engineer managed to transfer his tools and get home safely. Brilliant work and logistics from a very responsive and pro-active team! Life Savers!!!! Thank you!

Simply very good and efficient Van Hire

Hired a van through this company very helpful very knowledgeable. Advised me of the best locations for both ends of my journey and also talked me out of a Luton van which I been convinced I needed. The Luton would have been too big and would have cost a lot more so great advice and saved me some money.

Truly amazing customer service sets this organisation apart...

... a rare treasure in this day/age. I needed a one-way van hire at a budget price, and this team personally hand-held me through the quotation, booking and vehicle pick-up stages. Options & choices re van type, pick-up & drop-off location, insurance waver, etc, were all clearly explained. The van was great, and pick up from Budget Euston went smoothly. Thankfully, so did my 620-mile journey!
This friendly, flexible and supportive crew can't be recommended more highly, and will definitely be my first choice for any and all future hire requirements.

Simply Brilliant

The ease, price point and amazing service will always see my colleagues and I hiring Yellohire. Working in film means that there are often very last minute requests. Robin and his team always jump to the challenge and produce the goods. The vans are of great quality however the service is even better. Thanks Rob! Looking forward to working with you again in the very near future.

Great service!

Last weekend, I needed a moped to be transferred via trailer but was advised to use a van which turned out to be the correct solution as it was raining in patches. Creighton was not only able to find me a suitable van but also helped me to identify where I could hire a ramp. It was good to be able to discuss the problem and get the right solution and I would certainly come back again to hire from Yellowhire. Mr D. Tran

Van hire at its best

Looking at other reviews on here about this company I can add very little - they got me a van in London at half the price I was being offered some other car hire depots in London most didn't have any vans anyway!!!!??? I had to clear out my dear old great aunts belongings after she had passed away.They got me a van within minutes good price - pleasant friendly service both over the phone and at one of their agents offices in Putney. I took the vehicle back this morning before leaving London greeted like a long lost friend. Just relaxing in a hotel in Rutland before I fly out next week, but wanted to say something about this as it made a bad week a little better.
