A No Show

My purchase was never shipped and received since ordering in March. I’ve written multiple of times but no response. This is very frustrating and disappointing.This is also bad business!!!! You got my money!

Do not purchase from this company

Do not purchase from this company. I made a purchase and noticed that after 5 business days, it had not shipped. When I emailed them, I received a bounce back for both their info and contact email addresses. With no other way to contact them, I filed a dispute with my credit card company.

Ordered in November

Ordered in November. We are in July and the order still hasn't arrived.
Every month a new excuse and a new delivery estimate that is untrue.
Now the email address I've been dealing with bounces. Its been disappointing.

I have orders back from January. None received

I have orders back from January that have not even shipped out. I’m just so disappointed because they make great products it’s just this communication and lack of transparency. First they removed the tracking option on the site so you couldn’t even track your package, now it looks like you can even email customer support anymore as my email is telling me their contact email doesn’t even exist anymore. And now if you go on their IG page it’s showing something called “Phoenix Collective Brands” instead of “You Go Natural”. I have no clue what is going on but they need to COMMUNICATE. They are intentionally limiting what people can say whether it’s on Monique’s(Owners name) IG page or the Official page, all comments are turned off. I’m just at a loss, we can’t get communication but somehow they’re STILL advertising promotions.

Scammy

Unfortunately, I have to add to the negative reviews. I have ordered from this company in the past and while I love their products, the customer service has gone way downhill and they’ve proven untrustworthy. I placed an order for 8 different headbands back in April and have yet to receive my order or any communication from the company despite sending 2 emails. While I can understand if things are back ordered, or there are some kind of technical issues, but to flat out ignore your customers and not communicate that effectively makes for bad business. Sadly, I will not order from them again and I was a multiple time repeat customer.

Resigned...

Let me start by saying that I love the products. I have ten of the Open T-shirt turbans and wear them all the time. I placed another order in February 2025 and while I initially received responses to my emails inquiring about my impending delivery, I never received my order. The last email I received was on May 8th, 2025 and they were very apologetic. Now it seems the email address on the website has been closed down.
I don't like dumping on people when they are down - what's clear is that they make a superior product but are overwhelmed in getting those items to their customers. I truly hope they get the support they need - they're putting out a good thing. And I can imagine that receiving so many frustrating calls & emails from customers is challenging. But shutting us out and not refunding our money and/or sending us what we ordered does not build trust. It's just not good business. And more importantly, everyone is unhappy. I want to support YGN because there are people behind the business with a good idea. But I need them to work with me as a customer. I hope they find their way through this moment...

I ordered quite a good amount from them…

I ordered quite a good amount from them over a month ago. Still have not received my order. When I emailed they at first didn’t respond, they finally responded after the 5th time but didn’t help at all, by the 7th time I asked for a refund they refused. I’m now trying to figure out I to get my money back. Don’t order from this company I’m pretty sure it’s a scam.

YGN give me my refund or ship my order

I have ordered several times in the past with YGN. I ordered this year on April 26 and haven't received a shipping email. At first I emailed to get an update. Then I emailed again asking for a refund. Paid through CA and went to dispute it, but CA denied it. I didn't receive my turban and got scammed out of $16.

I ordered from this company several…

I ordered from this company several times before. I never had an issue until this year. I placed an order on the 10th of April. I haven't received a shipping confirmation or anything. I paid through pay pal and requested to have this order cancelled and my money refunded. It's really disappointing because I had planned to give some out as Mother's DAY GIFTS. DONT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY PLEASE.

5 weeks - no goods delivered. Will not be ordering from YGN again - Warning ⛔️ - Do not waste your invaluable time and money. 💵

Update 05 29 2025:

After giving 4 weeks for this company to remediate the non delivery 📦 of goods, the company went stealth. The last response stated the same canned response and also stated that because the items are custom made one is not able to cancel - laughable. Not when you don't deliver the goods after the purchase has been made. The co also mentioned having some liquidation issues which alluded to the real reason on the stall. The co mentioned liquidation issues and brr er ing overwhelmed. I found this odd considering the site is still active and more customers are being deceived into thinking they’d get their orders on time or at all. This was truly disappointing. I wanted to support a minority owned businesses. Companies like this makes it bad for other business owners who value their customers' patronage. So I did let the financial institution know and I was able to recover funds disbursed. Stay away. Hairbrella is a wonderful company. I purchased a few of their hat wear and head scarfs. The swim caps are wonderful. There are other reliable options out there. Do keep your paper trails - email confirmations of orders, email chains of inquiries on the orders, etc. This is what you should show financial institutions should you dispute the charges. The company admitted its negligence and it was apparent that there was no viable plan to ship or cancel the order. Just kept kicking the can fine the road and pacifying the lack of professionalism. The company just keeps customers in a holding pattern with no resolve - meaning not shipping orders or not cancelling orders. However, the universe is not blind. Nothing will be prosperous in the long run.

Initial post:

I’ve placed an order over 2 weeks ago. Responses have been slow. I’ve been wanting to support this business for sometime. The last time there was an issue with the promo code. By the time someone responded, the inventory was low. This time around there was a promotion that I caught in time, so I ordered a few of the products I wanted- although the promotion wasn’t working towards the end, ad I wanted to order one more item. After the back and forth as to why the promo failed, I was over it. Reading to comprehend what a customer is conveying vs stating why you think the promotion failed or that promotion ended when was in fact referring to when it was active, does not bring resolve - just annoyance and the loss of a customer and potential sales - Not great for customer patronage or business.

In any event - a few of items ordered are gifts for a trip I have coming up in a little over a week. I am still awaiting the shipment confirmation. The site promised shipment 24 hours after orders are placed. It’s been, again, over two weeks.

I paid my money for goods, but meager communication is what I’m getting and it seems like this order will neither ship or be fulfilled. I dislike non transparency. If you don’t have the inventory, be honest. I’d respect that more than the failure of fulfilling the order without a reason disclosed. I am disappointed. I don’t think I’d order from here again. I tried to support a business of color/women owned, but this is not one I’d support again.

When a company is not clear on its intentions and keeps blowing smoke with empty promises and no clear plan to remediate the issues, then you know it's not trustworthy.

Zero stars if I could

Zero stars if I could. This business owner is a scam artist. Taking folks money and not fulfilling orders. I made an order on January 10th of this year which has yet to be fulfilled and received multiple promises from this seller via email that they're working on it. The last email I heard from them they were like it's going to be a week. That was two weeks ago. And that was after a requested a cancellation and refund. Then I never heard anything else from them so I am disputing the charge through my credit card company. I made one additional attempt prior to contacting my credit card company to request a cancellation and refund, of course got not response. Do not buy from them. It's super gross. Especially when they still send emails about products. They used to be a somewhat more reliable company (things were slow to ship) and now they're just taking advantage of customers, new and returning, with no plan or path to even fulfill these orders. Buyer beware.

I've been ripped off for $68.00! Do not order from this company. I placed an order on 3/16. Have not received an order confirmation, order and any responses from attempts to contact them. My PayPal credit account was charged almost immediately after placing the order. The phone number listed for customer service does not accept calls. I'm furious!

I placed an order in Jan,2025. I received partial order in March. They didn’t complete my full order. They did not refund me and PayPal sided with them and took the full amount from my account. Please do not order from this company and don’t use PayPal You will not get your order.

Do not order from YGN

Do not order from this company under any circumstances!! I placed an order in November and it had not shipped by the end of January so I cancelled. The company already charged my bank card, which is illegal before the product has shipped. I have sent countless emails with no response and of course no refund. I will not support these kind of black businesses. I don't like Amazon but at least I have never had this kind of customer experience. I get my stuff! Shame on Yo Go Natural.

I ordered a swim cap from YGN 4 weeks to Ship

I ordered a swim cap from YGN right after I placed the order. I received an email that they received the order and that the cap would ship in 4 weeks. I did not notice the ship until 4 weeks after I placed the order. So I emailed them the same night to cancel the order and refund me. They will not answer any of my 20 emails to every email address on their website. Once they see you are asking for a refund, they will not answer back in any form; they will just ghost you after they get your money. I think they are a rip-off and do not care about their customers. Just get the money. Save your money no customer service or appreciation for giving them business. It's a shame Black-owned businesses ask Black people to support them, and when you do, they do not support you back. Then they wonder why we go elsewhere. With our business, SAVE YOUR MONEY with this company Rip-Offs

Ordered on October 4 and Still Waiting

I placed an order on October 4, 2024, and received only a partial shipment. Despite numerous emails, the company repeatedly cited logistical issues. After months of waiting, I requested a refund which they claimed to be processing. However, the refund was never issued. When I followed up, my request was ignored, and the company reverted, citing logistical problems. I have not received any additional communication from them. I see they are in CVS and Target, but they are not fulfilling my order, and it has been almost six months.

This Company is a Scam!!!

I placed an order with this company on October 5, 2024. Only part of my order arrived so I emailed them asking about a ship date for the other items in my order. I sent them five emails between November and December 2024 requesting a ship date and/or refund. Long story short, they have stopped responding to my inquiries. It is now March 2025 and I have not heard a response from customer service yet, nor have I received my items or a refund.
