Amazing service from start to finish. I can not recommend Mark Collins enough. He has basically hand held throughout the whole process. There were a few unexpected bumps in the road, but this did not phase Mark, or reduce the amount of effort he put in to getting me the very best deal for these unprecedented times.

I did complete the life time mortgage, as I feel I will need advice going forward, and I would not take that advice from someone else now.

Spencer has been really helpful getting my remortgage sorted out. He's helped me consolidate debts, advised about wills and estate planning and chased the process throughout, as well as reassuring me. I would recommend him to anyone.

DCA was very informative and helped us with our re-mortgage at a time when things were a little stressful and interest rates rising DCA managed to secure us a very good deal. He also advised us on our will and we have finally put one in place for our son and the future. Would definitely recommend DCA and YMD and happy knowing they are there if we need to contact them in the years to come. Great service.

Could not recommend Dean Harrison enough! He is professional, thorough and personable. Dean listened to all of our needs/ideas, answered every question we had and ensured we received nothing but the best of what we had asked for. Dean made every stage of this process clear and educated us on many areas we had no understanding of. Moreover, through the summer period we witnessed massive changes to the market; rates increasing daily and heard of many buyers being turned away. While we panicked, Dean took it all in his stride and managed to secure a better deal than we initially applied for.
Since the completion of our recent mortgage Dean has also arranged for other products and emails us weekly to update and to hold us accountable and ensure we achieve what we have set out to accomplish.

I can’t recommend Mike Herron and Your Mortgage Decisions enough. Mike has helped me a number of times over the past few years, both with my initial mortgage when I purchased my property and also to re-mortgage. Mike has always made himself available at times that suit me, listens to my needs and has always found me a good deal within my budget. I genuinely don’t think I’d have been able to purchase my property without his help. He’s worth every penny and more and I won’t hesitate to use him again when it’s time to re-mortgage.

I experience support and great communication all the time. Simon worked for a long time on a new mortgage in order to achieve my purchase. Very happy with the way he managed the all process. Definitely on my recommendation list.G.D.

I looked up mortgage rates on different sites and typed in my contact details- YMD phoned within about 30 seconds of my finishing this which should have been a red flag. They then asked me some fact finding questions, which I thought would end in them telling me the best current mortgage rate but then was told one of their local reps would come to the house in person. I felt a bit apprehensive about this as in the past I've always managed to sort my mortgages online but I reluctantly agreed.
The rep subsequently came, at 6pm (I thought it would be a brief meeting and I could get the kids dinner on after 45 minutes or so), he said he'd come from a town a couple of hours drive away just to see us then started going through their terms (approx £3k to find the right product), told us at length about lots of products we weren't interested in like life insurance, trusts and others, and eventually got around to collecting the info for our mortgage application. I say eventually- he didn't leave until 8.45- two and three quarter hours after he arrived. He then said he'd look at the best deal and come back and tell us the following week. I put my foot down and said absolutely not, he could tell me over the phone and he said he didn't know if he'd even be allowed just to say over the phone but I was adamant he couldn't come back as we had already spent way too much time on what should have been a quick application and search.
Off he went and we haven't heard a thing from him since! As well as having nearly three hours of our lives wasted, there is also now someone out there with a lot of our sensitive personal and financial information.

Mark Collins was really helpful not only with organising my mortgage but with advice and communicating with solicitors when buying and selling my house. I felt well looked after. He was very efficient with his communications. Thank you Mark.

As a current customer of Your Mortgage Decisions, it had come to that time when my wife and I had to remortgage our property. We received a call from Andy Cutting within plenty of time before our current term ended. What with the uncertainty of the current interest rates going up, Andy wanted to get us the best available interest rate out there as soon as he could. We emailed over all the documents and Andy got us an offer (within hours of it increasing again) that we were extremely happy with. Andy remained in contact throughout and did so with the upmost professionalism. We can't thank him enough for securing us another 5 year term on what is currently a very good interest rate and has put our minds at rest.
