Zizzi Norwich - We walked out.
Zizzi Norwich. Nothing we wanted on the menu was available. We had a table for 4 tonight. Everything we wanted to order was unavailable (incl. Starters and Mains). The staff kept on coming back to attempt to take the food order and when we'd chosen alternatives, they werent available either. There seemed to be particular issue with no mozzarella cheese. We left, but we had to pay for the drinks. The staff should really state what is NOT available as they give you the menus. Also - I'll never order drinks first, without the food order. Lesson learned. A wasted evening, but glad we walked out.
We came for a lunch and really enjoyed…
We came for a lunch and really enjoyed meal at Zizzi. Lady who served us, Dorothea was very friendly and helpful. Thank you for your patience
Terrible
Took my daughter there for her birthday and 1 hour wait for a microwave lasagne
For the price I paid should have been an al forno fresh lasagne
Terrible won't be going there again
Bad experience at Zizzi Salisbury
Zizzi Salisbury. Had a great meal on the last visit. This time the food was barely warm. Could have sent it back but a table of 12 ordered just after us so it would have been a long wait.Asked twice for mayo but it never arrived. Everything was very slow as they were clearly understaffed . Waiter took off the price of the desserts as we were not happy but despite scanning our 50% off mains we still paid full price for them so ended up paying full price for a rubbish meal. Not impressed.
Our waiter Amos
Our waiter Amos, was very fast and efficient, taking orders and serving all customers on his own.
Food was very nice and hot.
Do not use
We used deliveroo. They delivered off items, missing items and incorrect items yhe meal cost £68.25 and deliveroo only offered a refund of £12.71, not even covering the missing meal cost, let alone the other issues.
My Daughter’s 18th Birthday
My Daughter’s 18th Birthday, my Daughter’s favourite place ! Zizzi Maidstone. Always great pizza, amazing service very attentive, kind and helpful. There was no need to ask for anything as everything was just coming through. Thank you for making it special for us. We had a great time and you are doing an amazing job !
Zizzi are no longer gluten free safe!!!!
Zizzi restaurants are no longer an accredited gluten free option & can no longer cater for coeliacs or those with gluten allergies, yet they are not making this clear when ordering in restaurants!!! Be careful gf people!!!
Product miss selling
Have visited zizi in Bournemouth and last night in Brighton, have ordered dishes with burrata cheese in the dish and on both occasions they have substituted mozzarella for burrata without telling me. Have bought it to attention both times and simple excuse of no burrata available. Burrata is a more expensive option and it’s strange that both restaurants have tried it on.
Went to the Basingstoke Branch for a…Birthday Meal
Went to the Basingstoke Branch for a Birthday meal with my Wife and was really looking forward to it. It went downhill from the moment we sat down. Firstly they didn't have the pasta meal my wife wanted. We were waiting nearly an hour from finishing the starter to the mains coming. We were just about to walk out when the mains turned up. They apologised and said there was only one chef. My calzone was burnt and cos we waited so long it put us off. Will definitely not be returning and can see this Business closing as the service was appalling and the meals were mediocre.
The staff were amazing
The staff were amazing , dealt with a gluten free allergy well making sure everything was correct . The restaurant was clean and tidy and food was delicious . We’re understanding about our autistic child within the group . Would definitely recommend. We were at the Aylesbury branch . Will be returning soon .
Terrible experience
Terrible experience. Slow service, cold food, and rude staff. Nothing tasted fresh. Definitely not worth the money — won’t be back. In the Hornchurch branch

Dined in Market Harborough branch yesterday
Thoroughly enjoyed the food but portions too small for the cost ! After all it’s just cheap pasta.
Another reason people aren’t eating out so much.
Too expensive for what you get !!!
We booked but no table available!!
We booked ,which they confirmed but when we turned up on time they had no table available. V poor to put it mildly. The manager had the cheek to say it was not his fault as they had a lot of walk ins. He implied I was the one with the problem.
I will do my best to ensure no one I know visits them.
Don’t bother visiting
Haven’t been to ZiZi in years, so we thought to try it to see if it was any better, but it wasn’t. Visited the Trafford Centre restaurant, food arrived way too early despite us specifying it needed to be delayed as we wanted drinks first. Food arrived luke warm and it was tasteless, celebrating a birthday so didn’t want to spoil the occasion by complaining. Either short staffed or didn’t want to work. The guy who served our table did his best. But doesn’t excuse tasteless dishes. The table next to us complained about long delays and food arriving at different times so obviously this place has issues. Won’t be visiting again or any of their other restaurants - overpriced and tasteless food.
Portion sizes are tiny but pricey
Portion sizes are tiny but pricey. Not worth it. Rather go to an independent Italian.
Gloucester Quayside
Shocking service. Waited and ignore to be seated. Once seated was relocated to make way for a 'big' party. Asked for order but wasn't ready, then kept waiting and waiting for service. Staff are either blind or ignorant.
Visited the Cheshire Oaks restaurant…
Visited the Cheshire Oaks restaurant for a family meal. The food was fantastic and the Waitress called Brooke was super fantastic and gave me the best desert I have EVER Had.
Freezing to starve
We went yesterday at 5pm to sutton zizzi, we were there a full 90 minutes ffs, the starters nice yeah lovely, the pizzas must of been left out and forgotten so when it arrived was luke warm, I ate mine as I had waited 40 mins for it my wife wanted it warmed up, when she got it it was like a hard blackend bit of road kill, she struggled to cut into it and was visibly upset, by the way it was so cold in there ffs, TURN THE HEATING ON for God sake, we had to put our coats back on to eat that crap. We been going there regularly for years but yesterday was first time in ages, will never go back there, you didn't have enough waiting staff on only 2 and it was busy. We didn't get dessert or we'd be in there over 2 bloody hours so we went to the local dessert place further down. This branch of zizzi is rubbish and has gone down hill, sort your kitchen out and wake up your staff.
