Excellent all round BUT! What ruined it for us was the anticipation of tips..... The food was expensive which we expected as it is London and we were day trippers there, £82.94 for a main mea... See more

Went to the Basingstoke Branch for a…Birthday Meal
Went to the Basingstoke Branch for a Birthday meal with my Wife and was really looking forward to it. It went downhill from the moment we sat down. Firstly they didn't have the pasta meal my wife wanted. We were waiting nearly an hour from finishing the starter to the mains coming. We were just about to walk out when the mains turned up. They apologised and said there was only one chef. My calzone was burnt and cos we waited so long it put us off. Will definitely not be returning and can see this Business closing as the service was appalling and the meals were mediocre.
The staff were amazing
The staff were amazing , dealt with a gluten free allergy well making sure everything was correct . The restaurant was clean and tidy and food was delicious . We’re understanding about our autistic child within the group . Would definitely recommend. We were at the Aylesbury branch . Will be returning soon .
Terrible experience
Terrible experience. Slow service, cold food, and rude staff. Nothing tasted fresh. Definitely not worth the money — won’t be back. In the Hornchurch branch

Dined in Market Harborough branch yesterday
Thoroughly enjoyed the food but portions too small for the cost ! After all it’s just cheap pasta.
Another reason people aren’t eating out so much.
Too expensive for what you get !!!
We booked but no table available!!
We booked ,which they confirmed but when we turned up on time they had no table available. V poor to put it mildly. The manager had the cheek to say it was not his fault as they had a lot of walk ins. He implied I was the one with the problem.
I will do my best to ensure no one I know visits them.
Don’t bother visiting
Haven’t been to ZiZi in years, so we thought to try it to see if it was any better, but it wasn’t. Visited the Trafford Centre restaurant, food arrived way too early despite us specifying it needed to be delayed as we wanted drinks first. Food arrived luke warm and it was tasteless, celebrating a birthday so didn’t want to spoil the occasion by complaining. Either short staffed or didn’t want to work. The guy who served our table did his best. But doesn’t excuse tasteless dishes. The table next to us complained about long delays and food arriving at different times so obviously this place has issues. Won’t be visiting again or any of their other restaurants - overpriced and tasteless food.
Portion sizes are tiny but pricey
Portion sizes are tiny but pricey. Not worth it. Rather go to an independent Italian.
Gloucester Quayside
Shocking service. Waited and ignore to be seated. Once seated was relocated to make way for a 'big' party. Asked for order but wasn't ready, then kept waiting and waiting for service. Staff are either blind or ignorant.

Visited the Cheshire Oaks restaurant for a family meal. The food was fantastic and the Waitress called Brooke was super fantastic and gave me the best desert I have EVER Had.
Freezing to starve
We went yesterday at 5pm to sutton zizzi, we were there a full 90 minutes ffs, the starters nice yeah lovely, the pizzas must of been left out and forgotten so when it arrived was luke warm, I ate mine as I had waited 40 mins for it my wife wanted it warmed up, when she got it it was like a hard blackend bit of road kill, she struggled to cut into it and was visibly upset, by the way it was so cold in there ffs, TURN THE HEATING ON for God sake, we had to put our coats back on to eat that crap. We been going there regularly for years but yesterday was first time in ages, will never go back there, you didn't have enough waiting staff on only 2 and it was busy. We didn't get dessert or we'd be in there over 2 bloody hours so we went to the local dessert place further down. This branch of zizzi is rubbish and has gone down hill, sort your kitchen out and wake up your staff.
Great meal
Great meal! Good Carbonara recommended by our lovely waiter Alan at the whitstable Zizzi
We will be back x
Zizzi’s at Gunwharf FABULOUS
Had a wonderful evening at Zizzi’s in Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth. The good was fabulous including real care with my food intolerances, and the service was wonderful. Lots of personal care. Thank you to all the staff, especially Darina, Craig and Martin. We’ll be back!
Always a great experience
We always have a great experience at Zizzi Rushden Lakes. The menu suits a range of ages, is always tasty but the standout feature is the service. The attentiveness of the staff is always excellent no matter how busy they are. Gosia in particular provides a brilliant service, checking on allergies, making sure we were served in a timely manner and putting things right immediately if there was an issue. I wish all restaurants were like this!

Booked Zizzi Port Solent got a text the day before saying we confirm your booking reply yes if still going so replied yes,
On the 14th turned up at 7.50 for a 8pm booking couldn't even get in the door me and my wife stood outside in the cold just waiting to get in the place.
After 15 mins got to the door waited about half an hour later was half way in the restaurant not sign of staff saying sorry for your delay at 8.40 we gave up and went home. why do you over book if you don't have room for my booking. spoke to a bunch of poor people sitting at a table with lots of people waiting to be served we ask them how long they have been waiting for there food they said 50 mins and counting.
We are regular's to this restaurant, never been let down so badly before by them.
Shame on you for making what was going to be a special night to a shit one. ended up having a bacon sandwich at home.
Absolutely awful experience
Went for a valentines evening and booked for 19.30pm. Got there 5 mins early but did not get seated until 19.40 then told that food is not leaving kitchen for 30 minutes. At 21.10 still no starter so we left as that is disgusting. Now have to travel home hungry 🤔. A absolutely rubbish valentines thanks to Zizzi. Stick the bottle of wine as well.
I believe the standards are lower than they were
The food was ok but from my visits from. A few years back the standard of quality has gone down not really the experience it used to be
Had lunch at Woking today
Had lunch at Woking today, it was a lovely meal, food was amazing and Eva (or Ava, sorry) went above and beyond to make our visit great. Thank you so much
had a frozen Calzone from Morrisons
had a frozen Calzone from Morrisons, cooked per instructions just in case anyone wants to say I must have overcooked it,it was awful, very hard pizza dough on the edges when cooked, went in the bin and the filling wouldnt fill a sparrow, for the price charged it was a definate no no, would not buy again and would not reccomend to anyone, very poor
Left feeling zizzis is a rip off
Went to Cardiff Bay zizzi last night. Not been to a zizzi for a couple of years. It was a birthday treat for myself. 2 adults 2 kids. Staff were friendly and helpful.
2 rustica margaritas, 1 rustica primavera 1 rustica Sofia.
Both margaritas were so sparse of toppings it was mostly bread. My kids were starving so despite offer to re do them we declined. In my eyes if you can’t get a margarita right you can’t call yourselves a pizza restaurant !!!!
My rustica primavera was covered in lovely rocket but this was to disguise the bare pizza with hardly any toppings. So very dry. My husbands was fine.
Staff advised that this was make to zizzi specifications and were kind about my comments. I left very disappointed that one of my fave restaurants has turned to corporate greed and now serving mostly bare bread to people.
Can’t say I will be visiting again now as £16+ for bare bread is not on !!!
