Excellent all round BUT! What ruined it for us was the anticipation of tips..... The food was expensive which we expected as it is London and we were day trippers there, £82.94 for a main mea... See more

Booked but told Kitchen closed!
Booked a table online for 9pm. Walked in to be told sorry kitchen is closed! We politely said we had a booking. Server looked at the chef who was slouched in the kitchen and said "they have a booking" ...he just kind of shrugged. She then said you can have a table but you need to order starter main and desert all at once!! Unbelievable!!! Obviously we left....out of interest, half an hour later I could still book a table online!! ...what a rubbish experience. The Chatham Zizzi only opened 3 months ago! ...maybe try sticking to the opening hours! Won't be going back as clearly the chef doesn't want to cook!
Set menu is fantastic
We had the set menu, was really good food, great friendly staff. Zizzi Henley
Visited the Chislehurst Restaurant
Visited the Chislehurst Restaurant. The staff were friendly but the food was awful. My £16 salad consisted mainly of salad leaves with a few lentils. The pizza tasted of plastic. Poor value for money. Will not go again.

visited St Katherines Dock
visited St Katherines Dock. Tesco site told us vouchers were good for that restaurant which we downloaded.
Having eaten our meal were were told that restaurant had withdrawn from the scheme, given a bill of £102 plus an assumptive tip £10.70 for staff who only did what they were paid to do anyway, and told we should have read the small print. Sneaky to say the least. Wont go again, put a sign up Zizzi so everyone knows.

A good start the starters were served quickly and they were nice.. But after that... Well... Really the worst service we ever had.. Zizzi in Bedford is a Never again... We waited for about an hour to get 1pizza and a bowl of pasta for our little boy. Restaurant was not even busy.. No way we are coming back.. Terrible, two or three people in the kitchen and 4 serving... In the end we were given a bill of around 79£.. No coffee, no desert nothing else and the waiter gave us the option to give a tip either by credit card or cash saying cash is better... I worked in restaurants before but I have never had the courage to talk to a customer like that.. Anyway.. We paid, gave no tip.. AND OUT OF THE DOOR...
Going Downhill fast
The waitress asked how many, 2 we said, she grabbed some menus then immediately walked off. She could be seen ranting at the chef, then at another waiter, then she walked into an office and could be heard ranting some more. Left us there. She finally came back and trotted us to a table.
Ordered starter main and side salad. Starter was cold, forked into the salad and deep from within the salad a long black hair was being pulled out with the salad. They just about "bovered" to take it away and get a replacement. replacement that was thrown together. The food was the worst ever served to us in a Zizi. Place is going backwards fast. Pity they used to be the place to go
Great time
We all had a great experience at our lunch today. We initially just stopped off for some coffees and drinks but ended up staying for lunch because we were having such a good time. Jodie was our waitress and took care of us all day, no matter what we needed or asked for. She took her time to talk to us, smiling and joking the whole time. I cannot fault the service, she was attentive and a pleasure to be around, and the food and drinks were great too. Would recommend to all. Thank you for taking care of us!
Table booked for 2
Table booked for 2. The staff were polite and attentive. The food however was another story. I ordered the cheese fondue dish, it arrived, on presentation it looked great, but as I started to bite into the bread it nearly broke my tooth, not wanting to appear rude to my guest, I pretended everything was OK, but then I saw her trying to cut into her bruschetta and she was having real trouble! She said to me ' I can't cut this bread it's so hard!' Obviously the bread was stale... would not recommend Zizzi at all.
Pouring wine back into the bottle!
Visited the Telford restaurant on Saturday. Whilst the food was lovely we were absolutely shocked to see that wine was being poured back into the bottle by a member of staff. When alerting the manager she confirmed that she was aware of this and could confirm the wine had not been touched by other customers.
The glasses had been delivered to the table but for some reason we're returned to th bar area.
This was raised with Zizzi head office via email who have yet to acknowledge my concerns about cross contamination.
As a family of four adults, we shall not be visiting our local or other Zizzi restaurants again and have concerns regarding their practices.
Simply the BEST Customer Service & ALWAYS with a Smile!
4 of us went to Zizi's at Whitstable earlier this year on Sunday 9th June, our table was booked for 7.30pm. We were greeted by Theo who showed us to our table; he was also to be our waiter for the evening. Just to take you back a bit to 2022 when we were last in Whitstable for a short break with the same friends. We went to Zizi's then. On our arrival there were some 'Nibbles' on the table that we'd never seen before on previous visits; so I took a couple & they were so delicious that I just couldn't put them down! When the waiter came over I told him how nice they were & he kindly bought me some more; they also disappeared no sooner than they'd arrived!! We went on that evening to have a really lovely meal with the best service & as we were leaving our waiter then presented me with another bag full to take with me... it just made my night! I was really looking forward to going to Zizi's back home but honestly ...I don't know where the time's gone but we actually never made it back until..... Fast-forward to this year & we're back at Zizi again but this time ...Ho Hum... there were no Pasta Bites to be seen. When Theo came over to us to take our drinks order, I just had to mention my disappointment at the fact I could not see any of those adorable Pasta Bites.... "It's Okay" came the reply... "You'll get some free with your first Drinks order". My happiness was restored as I told him about our last visit. Well, our evening continued, with, once again the best service, best food.. in fact, the food was so delicious from start to finish. Theo was & is absolutely, a really great guy, being both polite & attentive; & with a warm, friendly personality. I once again, left the restaurant very happily carrying my very own bag of Crispy Pasta Bites!!! I promised Theo I would give him/Zizi a great review on returning home & here we are several weeks down the line when I told myself this morning to just get on with it!!! So Theo, I really hope you'll get to see this review cos you absolutely deserve it. Good Customer Service sometimes seems to be very short lived in these times which is such a shame. I hope you'll still be there the next time we're back in Whitstable. Please stay as lovely as you are because a warm smile combined with amazing service goes a long, long way. With very best wishes, always x

Just had dinner at Gunwharf & Darina was a fab host - from our drinks & starters to making us feel relaxed & had fun/banter til we paid the bill. Great meal & food too - lots of (hard) choices! 👌🏻
Slow, slow, poor
Earls Court. Slow to greet and be shown to a table. Not really busy, but slow to take our order. We were just about to walk out. Ordered lasagne a pork belly plus 2 large Nastro Azzuros. Drink came with very small glasses. The lasagne was lovely. The pork was far from the advertised crispy. Sent it back for a crisping. Epic fail. Could have walked out again but stayed and ate it. Electronic device to show bill and no receipt offered. They also failed to advertise the zizzi rewards. They’re usually so reliable.
Zizzi in Chatham Dockside is a must…
Zizzi in Chatham Dockside is a must visit! I absolutely love Italian food, but the high gluten content causes problems for me. Zizzi’s menu allows me to enjoy all of my favourite dishes gluten free! The food and service here are outstanding. We have eaten there twice since they opened at the end of May and will be regular visitors.

Rude manager / to customers a staff.absolutely no autentic food from italy. We will never ever comeback
Disappointing visit, too expensive, low quality food.
Staff were friendly and happy. Unfortunately the garlic bread was overcooked and hard. The calzone pizza was filled with mushy mashed up looking food, rather than meat etc. The lasagne portion was small and also had a strange twangy taste, which was quite unpleasant. Presentation of the meal was lacking and looked unappetising. Usually we love a visit to Zizzi's but the quality of the food has definitely gone downhill. I don't think that we'll be returning. Very disappointing. I think Zizzi's need to re-evaluate the quality of the food that they are serving, especially considering the price that they are charging.
