Excellent all round BUT! What ruined it for us was the anticipation of tips..... The food was expensive which we expected as it is London and we were day trippers there, £82.94 for a main mea... See more

Terrible food
Terrible food, out of 6 people 4 of us had cold food and had to send it back. Poor customer service. Will definitely not be returning.
Zizzi St Giles
Zizzi St Giles
Staff were very slow. Asked several times for glasses for our water jug and ignored, had to ask for cutlery few times.
My prawn linguine had big pieces of napkins in the dish. I did not finish the dish. I didn't want a replacement. They removed it from my bill but thats all. They made no effort to apologise properly or made no effort after they took the dish away. The service was bad and slow. It was my son's 16th bday and I told them. I thought they would make a little fuss after the issue eith my dish, but not as much as a happy birthday or little trest as a way of apology for spoiling mh meal. Didn't as much as say goodbye, thankyou, visit again when we were leaving. We were the last ones in the restaurant. Will not return.

Went to zizzis Gloucester quays for partners birthday, asked online for a booth, server was really loud and rude to us to the point other diners commented. We were sat down on a dirty tiny table when there was a booth free, we got up and left to another restaurant with polite staff. We used to go every month, pleased they're losing our custom. Complained online as usual no reply, what's the point in having a complaints portal?
Food Good -Customer Service Poor
Food was very nice BUT mistakes were made. One pizza was sent out incorrectly which was rectified within 10-15 mins by which time the rest of our family had almost finished. OK mistakes happen so we were willing to ignore this even though the step son was annoyed and hungry.
We went on to order puddings and again a mistake was made with the step daughter’s order and had to be taken back and redone.
Can’t fault the food but the service wasn’t the best.
Asked for some form of reduction in the bill however small but this was declined with the reason the order was rectified. This was very disappointing given the experience was impacted and the enjoyment of an evening out was tainted to some degree
We have visited this Zizzi (Newport - Wales) on many occasions and after this recent visit we will most likely visit a different venue in future.

Didn't stay
I'm writing this review immediately after returning home from my night out where I was left genuinely gobsmacked by the service I received at Zizzi's in Cheshire Oaks.
Me and my partner had planned to take our friend on a night out for a nice meal before going to see a movie. Our table was booked at 6.30 and we arrived and were seated at 6.25. I'm used to service where people come and ask for your drinks order around 5 minutes after seating but this didn't happen. We didn't think much in to it and just assumed someone be with us shortly so we started to look at what we fancied to eat.
20 minutes had passed and still no one had been around to take our drinks OR food order. We even tried to order via the QR code and it was saying our table wasn't open/recognised so as a waitress was passing I asked her if we could be served to which she just replied "yeah" and walked off. We assumed she'd gone off to get someone but she hadn't and walked straight back past our table to start making drinks behind the bar.
10 minutes later someone finally came to take our order and if I'm honest, the attitude was stinking. I'm used to ordering starter + main together and then moving on to the next person so after I ordered my starter I asked how she would prefer us to order, "starters first or would you prefer starters and mains together?" To which she just responded back like I was stupid and blankly said "starters".
It got to 38 minutes after being seated (with still no drinks or table nibbles I ordered) where both me, my partner and my friend had decided that if we got to 40 minutes with no service we'd leave. Of course we got to 40 minutes, so I approached [what seemed to be] the person in charge and asked him if he could cancel the food and drink order for table 22 because we were leaving after 40 minutes of no service to which he replied "yeah, sure". I was gobsmacked. No apology, no attempt to understand why, just happy to watch an easy £100 table walk out the door.
As a group we ended up going elsewhere to eat when we also noticed two other parties who were in Zizzi's at the same time as us, queuing for food, too. I've no idea how much money Zizzi's lost out on tonight but I certainly know it was because of the service. If it was heaving I'd be more understanding but there were plenty of empty tables and didn't seem overly busy for a Saturday at all.
Worst restaurant experience I've ever had. Outrageous.

Terrible service, terrible food, dreadful experience
I went with my two children for lunch at the Bankside Zizzi yesterday. They had run out of kids menus so we were given a food stained one for another table. The app didn’t work so we couldn’t online order. We weren’t offered any drinks so we sat with nothing for half an hour. The food then took an hour to arrive whilst others who arrived after us got served before us. Most of the wine wasn’t available and the children’s starter form the kids meal only had one choice. All the food turned up together so no garlic bread or kids starter before. The kids spaghetti Bolognaise was mainly just spaghetti. I had king prawn linguine which wasn’t nice at all it had a weird flavour. I asked for the bill early as I knew it would take forever. We decided in the end to stand up and put our coats on. It then arrived. We were never asked if we liked our food, I can see why. What an unnecessarily horrid experience, we won’t be back.
Not a company for allergic customers
Yesterday on deliveroo I placed an order for 3 pizzas, one vegan for a toddler with soya and dairy allergy and we paid £40.I phoned 3 times the restaurant at Maidstone to ask for a pizza with only tomatoes as there were no info about allergens for cheese. The person on the phone answered : the pizza is already done.Is it normal saying to a customer 'the pizza is already done' if there is an allergic customer!!!I asked to speak to the head chef and requested to know more about the ingredients to see if my son could have that vegan pizza with that cheese. Finally nobody was helpful,we couldn't give the pizza to my son because of lack of info regarding the vegan cheese. They cannot read ingredients
and cannot prepare food for allergic people. They just Don't bother. We wrote a complaint to the HO,no answered. We wrote a review on Google and they have hidden all the reviews now. There is anything else to say?The other pizzas were disgusting too.Poor customer service, poor management.Does the staff do a proper training on how deal with allergens? They should really close
Zizzi Loughton. Where’s Gordon when you need him.
Zizzi Loughton.
Visited tonight and a very poor experience.
Entrance and welcome. Just poor. No engagement. Restaurant not busy.
Starters … cold but thought ok perhaps the main would be better.
4 eating. Mains came to us separately. 2 cold. One too cold to eat. Returned. Sharing plate of breads didn’t arrive until at least one person had finished. Claim of freshly made pasta was untrue. Complained. One meal removed from bill. 20% off remaining. Didn’t stay for deserts or coffees. On leaving asked to feedback a little to manager. Midway through a very short polite feedback… (not agro at all)… interrupted by staff and the manager started speaking to them. Just poor service, poor food, not worth money. Most importantly an unpleasant atmosphere. We were not the only ones complaining. Prices UP. Quality and service way way down. Go somewhere else is the advice I would give to anyone.
Where is Gordon when you need him.
Zizzi… I would remove the franchise license.
And finally… I have never returned food at a restaurant before.
Poor Service, Poor Food and Poor Management
When arrived at the Zizzi restaurant in Canary wharf, manager was on his mobile phone and I had to wait 2-3 minutes to be acknowledged on the door. Service was very poor and mistakes with food delivery. Supervisor gave my pasta chicken della casa before my starters. No apologies and walked away. My starter pork meatballs was cold and undercooked. Afterwards staffs gave me the same pasta re-heated burnt and extremely dry. No check backs during the meal. It's very disappointing and frustrating the whole experience. Definitely not a place to come back again.

I have to say, what a lovely place to eat. All the staff in there were lovely, nothing was too much trouble. Happy smiling faces and funny. We could have honestly stayed all day it was that relaxed. Food was just as good as well. Will definitely be returning

I was extremely impressed by the customer service of this restaurant. All the staff were friendly and catered to my needs. They went out of their way to talk to me and my friend and make us feel welcome. We especially was made welcome by Lizzie who was extremely helpful and made our experience worth while. It would definitely be a place to come back to.
Bromley
Went to the Bromley restaurant last night. The young person serving us was faultless. However, the pizzas were not. I had a three cheese one. I couldn’t find any cheese…..and I looked….and, bizarrely, the whole thing was covered in very sweet caramelised onions which were vile.
Bad food
Bad food, I cannot believe how much I spent when I can get shop bought food that tastes better.
Unacceptable Dining Experience at London Central St Giles
Our recent visit to Zizzi at London - Central St Giles was a complete letdown. Despite arriving 20 minutes early for our reservation, we were kept waiting additional 20 min even after our reservation time, while a larger group that arrived later was seated ahead of us. The understaffing issues were evident, leading to long delays and subpar service. Our requests for assistance were largely ignored, and the overall experience was marred by poor communication and a lack of attention from the staff. Regrettably, this has been my worst dining experience, and I cannot recommend this place to others.
Zizi's St David's Cardiff
Zizi's St David's Cardiff. Dining experience overall was really poor. Visited with a table of 11. All had 30% off vouchers. But had to pay as a table... Nobody said anything beforehand.
Sever was rude and poor service. Spoke with Manager and just as rude.
Food was average at best too. Drinks were like warm.....
Won't be going back here again.
Food posioning alert! Avoid! Obviously no training
On a mobile while cooking food!!!
Spaghetti bolognaise and garlic bread 10/10
Had ordered via a popular delivery service and I have to say I was not disappointed. It’s never going to be the same as eating in the Resturant, however the portion sizes were good and I loved it so much I ordered again a few days later. Working long hours it really did hit the spot. Value good, quality good overall very happy. Thank you Zizzi Milton Keynes.
