Do not buy - Retroscope Jump Hour Vintage Mint - This is only a day watch ! You cant tell time in the evening on this even under a street light !
I own 3 watches from this brand and bought a fourth one. Their designs are unique and stand out.
My issue is this, their return policy bascially just says that they dont stand behind what they make and dont have the confidence to back up their watches and designs.
On their website, I left a 1 star review and its been a week; still hasn't shown up only to lead me to believe that the only reviews that show up on their website as the ones that only praise and not critisize their products. This is not only false advertising but also leads to setting false expectations as it did with the Retroscope Jump Hour Vintage Mint for me. It is next to impossible to view the time on it when there is no day light. Even in the evening, under a street light, its extremely hard to tell time on this. I rather take out my phone and look at the time which I hate doing.
They even sent me an email to revise my review. Who does that?
My trust in this company has gone from 100% to WTF !!

I love the usual designs of their watches, and the responsiveness of the customer support team. I was a little frustrated that this was a preorder I placed in October, with an understanding it was expected to be shipped in Mid to Late December...but I never recevied a single update on it until it shipped in mid January. That's 3 months of radio silence. I had to track down the original order acknowledgement and resply to it, asking for an update. Once i did, however, they responded to that, and all subsequent requests for updates in a timely and polite manner.

Disgraceful customer service. My watch was shipped to Australia over a month ago. I have been trying to track the progress, but Xeric provided non existent tracking number for the Australian courier. I ha e requested it be reviewed and be provided with the correct number, however they just repeatedly provide a link to the tracking page for the Australian courier. This is despite twice being advised the tracking number is wrong. They have cool looking products, but do not buy from them if you aren't in America as they don't care about their customers.
EDIT. Thanks for the response, providing the exact same response as you have to my email enquiries. I have been using the Australian tracking number provided in the link provided for the courier company. Your response just validates my review, which isn't defamatory by the way.

I purchased the Retroscope Jump Hour in black/orange. I've had it for a few weeks now. Had to watch a YouTube video to set it, as no instructions were included. Both the watch and its packaging were very nice and the watch so far keeps excellent time. Still getting used to it, but I've found it to be quite hard to read in low light. There's no lume and the number window (especially the outer ring) reflects glare if you try to put it up to a light to see it. Maybe the colors that have higher contrast dials, like the racing green, red and navy, won't have that problem. I'd choose one of those if I had to do it again.

I have 4 Xeric watches. The last two took too long to get to me, I ordered them in April with an understanding that one would be released in October. I received both in early January. The Timeline Retro watch is beautiful but the movement will not work well if the power reserve is low. If low, the flyback mechanism will get stuck between 55-59 minutes... I have Breitlings, TAGs, Longines and watches from the smaller watch makers. Xeric is a decent watch but they need to improve in many areas.
