Perfectly okay/medicore hotel. Very smooth check in and check out via screens. Easy to take the tram to the city, runs pretty often as well. Great AC in the room.
What brings down my experience is the breakfast which was very very basic and the staff did not seem to have knowledge of veganism. But all and all, my stay here was perfectly fine and it met my needs for the trip (except the breakfast).

Great time at this place for the second time😉

there were 3 of us in the very spacious room, helpful and friendly staff, it's very easy to get to the center as well as to the airport by public transport

The rooms are comfortable and clean. The area is super quiet, and there is a tram stop right outside the hotel with direct access to the city center, while still being away from the busy downtown area. The staff are also very nice and helpful.

There wasn’t a single bedsheet on the bed. Instead, there was one sheet coming from the head side to the middle and another from the foot side to the middle. How can a hotel do something like this? I have never seen such a thing in my life, not even in a hostel. It makes no sense and feels absurd. I don’t even want to talk about the pillows. The inside of them was yellowish, and the pillowcases themselves were not clean either. There was also something like a very thin 15 cm mattress on the bed. Even when you turned the air conditioner off, it kept blowing air continuously and making noise.
By the way, I think I forgot my earphones in the room, and nobody even contacted me about it. It’s not very important, but I wanted to mention it. I think I’ve stayed here around four times before, and I even recommended this place to someone once, but after this experience, definitely not anymore.

We had to change our dates and had to pay double in the end. No extra day or anything, the staff was also very rude about this. It was very hot during the week-end and the AC does not work at all and we were also unable to turn off the heater in the bathroom. Breakfast is not too bad but 20€ ? Way too expensive. We had dirty towels in the bathroom as well... For the price I expect everything to be perfect but it was just horrible :/

The room was spacious, the hotel is near public transports and it is easy to reach from the airport. Maybe the cleanless could be improved

Excellent location with easy access to museums, local park and public transport.
Breakfast was good with decent selection of everything.
The room was clean with a comfortable bed, but a bit small with not much space to move about.

We truly had an amazing experience. Went to Amsterdam to see Harry Styles, not only this hotel was close to the stadium he was playing at, it was also close to the city centre, as well as the airport! The staff went above and beyond, especially Victor, who on our first night helped us tons with our dinner. Thank you so much Victor, you made our stay truly unforgettable, it meant a lot to us. The room was amazing, everything was clean and we felt really safe! All the staff spoke fluent english and let us leave our bags in the storage room after our stay, as our plane was leaving late at night.

Everything went smoothly. The Hotel is very clean, the staff was helpful, breakfast fast great and it has a good connection to public transport. I would definitely stay there again.

We arrived pretty late, and was able to check in very easily. No problems. Staff was pretty friendly also! Tram is outside and was easy to get around. Room was clean and spacious. Overall pretty happy.

Nice hotel with good location. Facilitate the displacement around.
Clean also.
The bar should be operational at least at night or till to certain hour for people who wants to grab a drinks.
My room was the 5th, could hear people walking outside and there was literally 4 beds which I find strange as I’m alone.
I would recommend to keep some stuff in the mini bar could drive in revenue.
Overall was a nice experience, good breakfast Maybe try to change the eggs instead of scrambled everyday.
Appreciate the help for the water on the first day.
I would recommend.
Thanks

Overall, I am satisfied with this hotel. I will start by saying that the location is very good. It is a beautiful area, quiet and peaceful. When you leave the hotel, you can already see the Van Gogh Museum, which is across the street. The hotel rooms were clean, but I did not like the towels. They were dirty, they have a company that "washes" the towels and think they should change them to another company. Also, what I did not like was that we had taken 2 rooms and we opened both rooms with 1 key card without any problems.

Room was big, nice bathroom, Check in quick. With the Tram next to the front door you can go easiliy to Amsterdam Center or the big Station Sloterdijk.

Pretty average.
Staff were friendly- however.
As you walk into the lobby you are overwhelmed with a musty, mouldy smell.
My room was in the basement below street level - the smell was even worse - with no windows that open to circulate fresh air.
The windows at street level meant you had people literally standing in front of your window smoking and talking all day/night- not great soundproofing and a night club opposite the hotel.
Lots of stairs FYI- even on one level- you go up five stairs, down two stairs up another three- it’s very strange.
Additionally- the king size bed was two singles pushed together with seperate bedding and a weird square European pillow instead of a regular pillow.
The smell wAs probably the worst thing, followed by the noise.
Breakfast also pretty average. No complimentary bottles of water - but a sign saying Dutch tap water is safe to drink 🤣
Pros- staff friendly, bathroom was modern, big tv, and location is good (even if no sound proofing).

Absolutely terrible experience and a complete waste of money.
The hotel was dirty, smelled bad from the moment I walked in, and had a very unpleasant atmosphere overall. The hallways and rooms felt unclean, the entire property had a strange odor, and the staff looked miserable and acted rude most of the time. Nothing about this place felt comfortable or welcoming.
The worst part was housekeeping throwing away my medically important prescription medication from inside my room. This was life-sustaining medication and not something that can simply be replaced while traveling abroad. Initially nobody admitted anything. Only after I strongly pushed the issue did a housekeeper suddenly say there “was a bag but it was empty.” That explanation makes no sense because the medication was inside a sealed medical pouch and could not have accidentally spilled out.
Throwing a guest’s life sustaining medication away is an extremely serious matter. Instead of taking responsibility, the staff handled the situation with very little professionalism, urgency, or empathy.
Dirty hotel, terrible smell, rude employees, poor management, and honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had in a long time. I completely regret booking this place.

Based on the photos published online, I was expecting a much better hotel. Instead, I arrived at what I would describe as an average property.
One of the elevators was out of service, causing significant inconvenience. On top of that, nobody seemed able to find the stairs. Staying on the first floor, I often had to wait for numerous guests using the only working elevator.
Once in the room, I struggled to keep the lights on, as I had to insert both key cards together for the power system to work properly. The bathroom had no light above the mirror, making it difficult to use.
The room included a desk for working, but surprisingly there was no chair. The coat rack had no trouser hangers, and the overall appearance of the room was rather poor and outdated.

The location was a bit further out than I thought and it felt a bit dodgy, especially as the main entrance door is locked, you have to ring the bell to enter in broad daylight when we arrived, and use your keycard then once you check in.
The location was grubby with many unkempt properties around it.
The good side was that the public transport is right outside the hotel.
I had 2 rooms for our party of 4. Both rooms were very small. One room had a big pillar randomly in the centre of the room which made it even smaller.
Both rooms had a very heavy cigarette smell that even transferred to our clothes. One room had cigarette stains burnt into the bathroom sink.
The bed linen was clean, but the towels had certainly seen better days and were quite small.
The TV in one room was held together with sticky tape.
The carpets felt grubby and there were obvious stains on sections.
The long narrow hallway was unmaintained with stained wallpaper. It was awkward navigating the hallway if you met another person.
I dont think I would recommend this place, and I certainly would not stay there again, it was certainly below what I consider a 3 star.
