Great Fitness Holiday- Owners Happy to Help
Following my two week stay in Thailand with XtremeGap Year I have nothing but good things to say about the company.
From the day i first inquired they were quick and professional with all correspondence, and made the whole booking process extremely simple. They were especially helpful when i wished to book extra nights at the last minute, and they contacted me the day before I flew to ensure everything was confirmed.
I was collected from the airport and the accommodation they provided was amazing. My room was big and modern, with a separate lounge area, and it was cleaned daily to a high standard. The hotel manager and all of the staff were fantastic and so friendly, I ended up becoming great friends with a lot of them...and actually ended up extending my stay in Thailand to 9 weeks in total.
The training facilities were great with a big outdoor gym and assault course. I did not spend much time in the indoor gym but it appeared to have a good variety of machines and free weights. The trainers are all so friendly, with different areas of expertise which allowed for a wide variety of classes (eg: boxing, spin, strength and conditioning, cross training, circuits) The gym based training is mixed up with beach training sessions and hill runs, and you can do as much/as little as you want to whilst there.
There was a small issue with the meal vouchers I received whilst there- but the owners of XtremeGap sorted this out with the gym very quickly for me and I was happy with the service. I was lucky enough to meet the company owners whilst in Thailand as they happened to be out there at the time. They were very friendly and asked how my training was going, and listened to my opinions on how they could further improve their already good service. It was good to see that they actually care a lot about their clients, and that they keep a close eye on the service provided.
Thanks for providing me with a great holiday and for linking me up with a place that i could now almost consider my second home...I intended to head back for another 2 months later in the year!!
