I am utterly shocked with how bad this company is, theyre theifs whoever owns this company whoever works at this warehouse. I know it's a guy a british guy i spoke to him before and now i cant get through. They are all evil people and will not give me a refund

I ordered two items, yet today they emailed me to tell me my order was cancelled. I am not impressed!

I'm never ever lighting a candle anymore! Specially a Yankee candle! A couple week I had the most terrifying experience a Yankee candle exploded the glass shattered making the candle burn my chest of drawer unit followed by that it burned the painting above. Burning all my personal belonging such as our passports and 5 grand we had been saving to purchase a car! We are also now being evicted because of this candle and how it set off the sprinklers and floated my whole building! PLEASE DO NOT TRUST YANKEE CANDLES! THEY EXPLODE ONCE TOO HOT AND YOU MIGHT JUST HAVE THE SAME HAPPENING TO YOU! PLEASE DO NOT BUY THESE ANYMORE IF WE DIDNT COME IN TO THAT ROOM IN TIME OUR WHOLE LIFE WOULD BE BURNED TO THE GROUND. I worked so hard to safe 5 grand I didn't go on holiday for over 5 years to be able to Buy a car and take my license for a Yankee candle to destroy my dream and efforts!

First time ordering for a special birthday. Ordered late bank holiday Monday realised phone had put my old delivery address in error
Rang 8am advised by the most unhelpful person ever in Poland that it could not be changed even though I advised my old house is empty and delivery cannot be made there

Open the jar, candle smells nice, light the candle and there’s absolutely no scent whatsoever! Worst candle I’ve ever bought, complete waste of money. Stick to the high end candles if you want to actually smell the scent in your home folks, Yankee aren’t the cheapest but definitely worst value for money.

Ordered a memorial candle for my dog who recently passed away, I wanted the clean cotton scent that was used at the pet crematorium. I also ordered a generic same scent candle to use and both were ordered at the same time.
There is a clear colour difference between the 2 and the memorial candle is not the scent I ordered.
Yankee Candle have now informed me that clean cotton is out of stock so clearly a random member of staff thought it was ok to just send a different fragrance and hope I didn’t notice, disgusting when it is clearly for a specific reason that a candle is ordered.
They have offered to send a signature style candle in clean cotton but cannot personalise it on those jars.
I have asked that they print another label from my original order and I will attach it myself - they have refused. I asked to speak to a manager - they refused.
Worst customer service ever at a time when it really isn’t appropriate.
Email addresses bounce back as redundant, I have sent a message on messenger which hasn’t even been read.

My Yankee candle has ruined my ceiling with thick soot. It is going to cost me thousands to get a specialist company in to repair damage. I was also coughing up soot and blowing it out of my nose!! We followed all instructions re keeping wick trimmed. These candles are dangerous and damaging. Do not buy

Yankee candle company has definitely gone down hill ,the old type wax tartes that were scalloped around the edges and made in USA were absolutely delightful with a strong scent the new ones that are made in china are awful the quality is very poor no aroma at all even the ones in the jar do not smell the same won't be buying anymore from Yankee candle company

First of all I would like to mention that I have had to wait 12 days for mine because it was being held there! Customer service is excellent, very helpful.
I have had a Yankee Candle before as a present. This is a vanilla one. It says that the crackle is soothing but a little nervous seeing a huge flame coming out of the jar. Hope it doesn't catch fire to anything

Bought "Calm and Quiet" Yankee Candle for the wife after redecorating the bathroom. A month later I had to clean the whole room,ceiling and walls. Filthy !! Black soot over the entire room. Enough to be able to write "No more candles" on the wall. God only knows what the was contains ????
Don't do it. Do electric.

its amazing nothing else they smell good so all the people that have bad reviews thats a u problem and go cry me a river and build me a bridge and get over it xoxo

Bought a Yankee candle diffuser from Asda. Few days later noticed the top part was missing. Checked box to be sure it was not in it, so was obviously missing from when it was packed. Didn’t have receipt , so could not return. Contacted Yankee candle who were not interested and directed me back to retailer. Spent a small fortune on their products over the years. Steer clear of this horrible company. Does not deserve 1 star, absolutely shocking customer service

I purchased 3 large original jar candles in the YC Christmas sale, all 3 candles arrived in perfect condition - beautiful scents. I had reason for contact YC customer services to arrange collection of my parcel, and they were extremely polite, patient and helpful. I'll definitely be back to buy more...

Went into Yankee Candle store in Bluewater, was going to purchase 2 large candle jars. When I got to the till I was asked if I wanted to buy a bag, I said no I do not not, I said why are you not giving paper bags like you used to, the reply was too many people ask for them. Never heard such rubbish in my life and I am not paying for a paper bag to advertise their products. It’s just another way to get more money out of people, therefore I told them to keep the candles. Why when the cheapest shop going can give you a paper bag do these expensive shops feel the need to extort more money from customers. Needless to say I won’t be buying from them anymore, greedy is the only word to describe it.

I have bought Yankee Candles in the past and loved them but for a few years I have been supporting a local candle maker until this year when my daughter bought me one for Christmas and disappointed is an understatement. Where has the scent gone? Why do they throw out so much black smoke when they are blown out. I won't be requesting another, overpriced for a cheap product.

Awful. Spent £20 on a candle that is tunnelling after an initial 8 hour plus burn, I’ve bought £3 candles that have burned better
Took it back to the shop and the replacement candle is doing the same. The wicks aren’t of a good enough quality to burn properly- ABSOLUTE RUBBISH!

When I opened the delivery the candle was smashed. Phoned customer service who emailed me immediately asking for photos of the faulty candle. I sent the photos ASAP and have received no further communication from them. I have emailed on various occasions with no response. Phoned again today to be told the refund would be processed within an hour of the phonecall, still waiting. So I am now without a gift and also currently out of pocket. Shocking standards for any company.

What fantastic customer service I received in the Lexicon Bracknell store today. 2 ladies Sheila and Katie went above and beyond making my shop in store an absolute pleasure. They even gift wrapped my items in cellophane as it was a present! What fabulous staff to have in one of your shops. Thank you
