My candle exploaded…

My candle was half full and exploaded destroying my carpet and glass was everywhere luckily i managed to put the fire out before it spread any further but upon complaining to Yankee Candles this was all my fault for incorrect useage apparently they shouldn't be placed on any type of furniture.. where else do you place them? 0 responsibility taken I have used 1000s of different brand candles and never had this issue with any others!

Happy with my order of Yankee Candles…

I ordered two large Yankee Candles online The process was easy I was then kept up to date about the delivery and informed with an apology when the date for the delivery was changed When the package arrived the candles had been packed and protected in such a professional way I was really impressed The candles are perfect they look good and more importantly smell divine and beautiful

Excellent Store Staff

Visited the Yankee Candle Store at the Cheshire Oaks Outlet and we we served by Megan. She took the time to gift wrap all of our purchases for us. Really appreciate the good service and helpfulness.

Disappointed in Cashless Push

I have bought lots of items from Yankee Candle and been a very good customer over the years, however I have just heard their shops have gone cashless. I shall boycott them for joining in the outrageous push towards a cashless society and will buy candles elsewhere from now on. "Go woke, go broke". I encourage other people to boycott Yankee Candle too.

WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN

I ordered one item from yankee candle and it was supposed to be delivered on the 9th of June but got delayed then I had to wait till the next working day which was the 12th of June so I waited and again nothing turned up so I rang CS and asked if they could resend it and they said no that they would contact UPS so it's now the 14th of June and I still haven't received my item. Bad service. This is the first and last time I use this company. Total disgrace

Worst customer services ever!

Ordered 2 personalised candles. Let me pick, place and adjust the photo. Asked me do i want to write a message. So i did. It didn’t show me any preview of the item. Even after the order was placed. So i emailed and called and sent facebook messages. Couldn’t get hold of them for 4 days. Then i got a message saying your items have been posted. And it showed a preview. And the writing was right across the photos even over a face. Spent days more trying to get hold of them. Had to go through resolver. Where they said they wont take them back or give refund. Awful company. Worst customer service ive come across.

Disappointing customer service

Disappointing customer service. Placed an order online which did not arrive do after two weeks contacted them. They said the tracking had stopped and they would send a replacement order. A week later got an email to say the replacement order did not go through their system properly and would be sent that day instead. Finally parcel arrived and was well packed but I would have expected a votive or tea lights or something small to be included as a goodwill gesture to make up for their delays but nothing was included. It would put me off ordering online from them in the future.

Yankee used to be amazing

Yankee used to be amazing, started noticing around November time that wax melts literally gave of a scent for 2 hours, then the scent would literally be gone, noticed it with the Sugared blossom ones, than noticed the are all the same now they do not last longer 2 hours anymore! The candles bought 2 large jars recently a midnight jasmine & bubble time they was on offer at Asda for £10 each and the midnight jasmine barely gave any fragrance and the bubble time one you literally have to put your nose in the jar to even smell it! It's pretty obvious they have massively reduced the amount of essential oils in there products, yet still charge ridiculous amounts for them! My mother also mentioned it to me the other week that she doesn't buy the Yankee melts/candles anymore as they hardly give of any fragrance anymore!.

They need to increase the essential oils in there products & stop putting out watered down versions whilst still charging the same.

I've started buying "Wickford & Co" brand now they do the same products that actually smell great and last for 1/4 of the price! The "Mother's day Violet flowers, Fizzy cherry, Rhubarb & blueberry & Hibiscus Island candles and wax melts are absolutely gorgeous! The large jars actually last for 95 hours & the wax melts last 2 days (per cube).

Yankee need to stop ripping off customers

Avoid at all costs

I made two separate orders before Christmas, well in time to be delivered in time for Christmas. I had an email 4 days before Christmas to say they'd cancelled both orders. No option to select alternative products. Shocking customer service. Avoid

FAULTY CANDLE WAX

Diabolical sorry non existent customer service. Order arrived, and the wax of one of the large candles was totally discoloured and not fit to give as a present. I emailed, you dont even get a 'thank you for your email etc etc' so it's left me thinking my emails gone into a black hole. I asked for return details but as they've not responded after a week I will keep it as i doubt they would process a refund anyway, its just not worth the hassle. Safe to say I will NOT be ordering again from Yankee Candle. Shocking when you think the brand is massive.

Very happy with my experience

Contacted Customer Services after a problem developed with my diffuser. Despite it being nearly 2 years old they replaced the whole item free of charge quickly & efficiently. Thank you Yankee.

These candles are a complete rip off.

These candles are a complete rip off.
They don’t smell of anything (were supposed to be cinnamon stick) and at £14.99 a jar that’s a lot of money for a non scented candle. They used to be so good about ten years ago but like all big companies they now appear to be cutting corners on quality. I will now purchase my candles from bespoke companies who put effort in to making better quality candles.

Purchased a Yankee Advent Calendar for…

Purchased a Yankee Advent Calendar for my wife. One of the candles caught fire damaging the candle holder. As this apparently not the first time something like this has occurred. My decided to contact customer services. Who told no owner ship of the issue and the replys that she did receive were very patronising in their language. For a company that trades on their image of quality this was an unexpected and very disappointing experience.

Disgraceful customer service

Disgraceful customer service. Ordered a personalised candle for £29. UPS were given order to deliver. Tracked and supposedly delivered but never arrived. Zero reply from Yankee. It’s Christmas morning no reply to say a replacement will be sent. No gift to give my son in law. Do not rely on this business ! You would like to think that you could trust such a well known brand. That their CEO would care about the reputation of the business in the UK. Unfortunately not ! Poorly managed customer service team that lack leadership given these reviews. Letting down a previously well loved brand. Would not recommend
