2 taps ordered and paid for on 2.6.23
2 taps ordered and paid for on 2.6.23, only 1 in stock but advised the second would be in stock around 12.6.23. Accepted first tap, an exact replacement, with all fittings for the original tap. A straight forward swap, no problem. The second tap arrived on 25.6.23, a completely different tap, no fittings attached! I contacted the company who said it would still fit as it was the new type being used in all vans and the pipes in the caravan should be long enough to reach without the attachments.
Absolutely wrong! After touring local caravan spares, we ended up buying both hot and cold pipes, connectors, clips etc, to do a best match job. The additional cost was £23.
The only other option the company offered was to collect the second tap and refund. As we are going away shortly, this was not really an option for us.
Had the company informed us straight away that the second tap would be different and require additional fittings, we may have been able to source one to match the original from elsewhere.
