Everyone just loved the dinner that was served. The cook an his assisting daughter we’re super nice and everything went as planed. The wines where also perfect for the meal served recommended by Daniela
So overall a great and fantastic evening just as I was hoping for so thank you for a great experience!

In July we booked a dinner for 11 (6 adults, 5 children) in our villa near Preggio with Daniela. We chose a menu from several options at very reasonable price points. Two of our party are “semi-vegetarian” and Daniela was able to accommodate them with ease. Alessio arrived exactly on time, and served dinner to us al fresco also exactly on time. The food was beyond expectations, and Alessio left the kitchen cleaner than he found it! We also ordered wine through Daniela, which was excellent and went very well with the menu. We will definitely have Daniela put another dinner together for us next time we are in Umbria.

My family and friends (a group of nine) returned from an incredible two-week vacation in Umbria. Daniela and her team were fantastic both in terms of professionalism, responsiveness and the quality of service. We booked a personal chef (Stefania) through Daniela for one of the two weeks at our villa. Daniela previewed the menu with us in advance and was flexible in making adjustments and then Stefania prepared tasty and fresh meals for our group of five children and four adults. The food was truly outstanding as was the presentation. In addition, we booked a pizza making lesson through Daniela with an artisan pizza maker (Alessio). This was one of the most enjoyable activities of our trip. Alessio was extraordinarily patient and kind with our family and showed us how to make homemade pizza which we then ate. The vineyard/winery tour through Daniela is also not to be missed and was another highlight of our trip. We toured two wineries with a sommelier (Rossana) in the Montepulciano area and it was a blast. Generally speaking, the wine in this region is fantastic but Daniela and Rossana screen the wine so only the best ones are available at every price point for one to enjoy during the vacation, which is what we did. We also ordered the local wine to be shipped back home to the U.S. through Daniela. In sum, Daniela and her team made our experience in Umbria truly enjoyable. We cannot wait to return!!

We had a catered chef for dinner one night and did a truffle hunting/wine tasting experience organized through Daniela. Both were fantastic! We especially appreciated the fact that she was able to accommodate our group with not much advance notice. But I do recommend booking early, especially for June, as things get busy. Thank you, Daniela, for adding those extra flavors to our very memorable Umbrian holiday!

I am delighted to report that Daniela Bucchi is a wonderful cook, a delightful person, and in every way a tremendous asset in creating a successful vacation stay in Umbria. We had a family vacation at a villa in Umbria—15 people ranging in age from 5 to 80. She cooked evening meals for the family. She prepared it at the villa, served it, and did the vast majority of the cleaning up. The meals were delicious examples of Umbrian specialties, including home-made pasta, and fresh vegetables from her garden. It was like having a good friend in Umbria who happened to be a terrific cook and wanted to share her skills.
In addition, she provided wonderful Umbrian wines from small producers without international distribution, and through her contacts, helped us in an emergency when one of our rental cars died, and she found a car and driver for a return to the airport. In all matters she was gracious, helpful, and effective.
I cannot recommend Daniela enough. She is truly a wonderful person as well as cook. She made an enormous difference in the success of our family stay in Umbria. Thank you Daniela!!

Daniela and her team treated our family to two amazing dinners during our stay in Umbria. The first was a truly memorable birthday dinner. The table setting was beautiful, the food/presentation delicious, the wine selection was unique and from the region and the meal ended with a delicious birthday cake....we couldn't have asked for anything more celebratory. Our second evening with Daniela included a pasta making class with our family (kids included) followed by another wonderful dinner. We look forward to returning to Umbria and Daniela's cooking!
