Ignore all the bad reviews from idiots who don’t pay to park etc. This is an excellent facility, well staffed, well run and most importantly superb fun! We did Velocity and the Quarry Karts which we... See more

Parking fine really??????😢
Kids loved the expensive experience, also paid an extra £14 for a second rate video of said experience, then this morning got a £60 parking charge for not putting enough time on the ticket really you would have thought they had already extracted enough money from us, don’t think I will be going back😢
Used to be good, but…
It used to be good but has turned into a money grabbing exercise. We were fined after using the car park. I sent an email to state that didn’t think the car park should be an additional fee. They responded by adding me to their mailing list.
Treat their customers with contempt
Zip World needs to sort their parking…
Zip World needs to sort their parking situation. My wife and I went there August 25th and the parking machine wouldn't work. There was (is) no signal. A month later I was sent a £100 fine. It is a scam. Another scam is the outrageous prices for water (£8 per bottle). The place should be avoided.
Arrived weds 18th September, to find the park closed. Nothing on the website to warn people about this.
Arrived weds 198rh September to find the park closed.. nothing on the website to warn people about this. Travelled a long way to go to the mine and big red. Been before to bounce below a few times, which was good. Doesn't take much to update the website regarding closure. Also had to pay parking for the pleasure of finding it closed. Won't be spending money or time here again and will also dissuade others from going where possible. I notice that only good reviews get replies on here. I guess that says a lot.
Great Experience and Great Staff, shame about the extra costs!!
Had a great time and really enjoyed the two zip line rides on Phoenix! Shame about the weather as very little visibility, however that did add to the experience as couldn’t see what we were flying into. Would definitely return in the summer for the views. Staff were really nice and helpful as well. Only downside’s are the fact you have to pay a booking fee on the website (not sure how else you would book) and the car parking charge when arriving.
Not a great experience
We booked for four people on Titan at Llechwedd.
I was a bit peeved to be charged a £5 online booking fee on top of the £176 for the activity. To add insult to injury, there was a parking fee…unbelievable!
We were early so went to the cafe for lunch. Ridiculously expensive at £10 for a small veggie burger. The service was atrocious, we waited half an hour for a coffee and then found out they had forgotten our food order. We had to rearrange our activity time to wait for the food. 10 people stood in a queue and nobody bothered to come to the till. A total sh**show.
The zip wire was okay!
Parking charges! REALLY!!
None of the activities at Zip World are cheap. We have done several over the last few years and generally have been very satisfied - although ignore the 'from' price you never get it for that. Don't get me wrong I know they have their costs, but the prices are on the steep side. So you can imagine my surprise after visiting Penryn today for the quarry tour that they now also charge car parking! So over £75 for 3 of us to do the tour (which was really good) but then charging us again to park the car - which of course you have no choice. There is no mention of this when you book or an option to pay up front or even something like book for 2 or more people to park free.
Purely ripping people off.
Very good set up for the crazy golf
Very good set up for the crazy golf. Bit on the pricy side and not happy having to pay £3 for the parking aswell.
Disgusted
Disgusted - Not worth the money
Not only do they charge extortionate prices they have now just last week introduced car parking charges for this season. The sky ride was only a few minutes long but the minimum charge for the car park was 3 hrs at £3 plus 60p which we can only assume was another booking fee.
Fantastic staff...fantastic experience
I had to cancel my booking for Velocity at the very last minute do to illness. The staff kindly held my booking for 6 months and I used it yesterday as the gift for my partner. We got lost to start with and missed our start time but the staff fitted us in for a later slot and finally my partner got to do it. It was brilliant. Thank you to the fabulous staff there.
Brilliant experience
Brilliant experience. Did the quarry carts in the morning and then did the zip velocity in the afternoon. So much safety is involved. Felt nervous before but as soon as you've been checked for the 6th time, you feel much more at ease!
Kameron at the top of the 120mph zip wire made me feel at ease. Easily the best employee.
Expensive and parking fine on top
Expensive for what it is and they'll then charge you for parking. We were told we could pay when we leave but the app wouldn't allow that and no being told we'll be issued a fine. Horrendous experience, avoid!
Booking made since February the 9th
Booking made since February the 9th, phoned me today in May to cancel and change my booking and requesting more money from me even though they have changed my booking. No help and no type of customer service. All about the money. They have destroyed a family celebration that's been planned for months and the best they can offer is a refund.
Good day but terrible after sales
Went to the Zip World Fforest near Betws Coed and whilst there booked onto the skyride. Unfortunately there were technical issues and our ride had to be cancelled so went to get refunded. Was told as we had booked online (we hadnt) the refund could not be done in store so would be done via their finance dept. After filling in form the following day was told funds would be back in my account 3 to 5 working days. This was 14 days ago and still waiting. Tried to contact three times via email and no response. Very poor!! Happy to take the money but slow to give it back. Won't be using them again. Has spoilt what had been a good day.
Outstanding
My partner bought velocity 2 and the cavenes for a 40th birthday treat. Neither disappointed. The velocity 2 was incredible and I would recommend it to anyone. The cavenes was something else though the staff at both were brilliant but at the cavens we had an instructor called Lee that for lack of a better work was perfect. He instructed us professionally and helped my partner start when she was scared. My partner didn't want to finish so another amazing member of staff called Ange came and saved her talking her onto another couple of zip lines. All and all this is an amazing place and they have amazing staff.
Went to Zip world at Penrhyn Quarry…
Went to Zip world at Penrhyn Quarry today having booked last minute for my family. 2 x adults and 1 x 13 year old and 1 x 16 year old. Rules are: you cannot leave children unattended at any point to wait whilst you complete activities, due to the location occuring at an active quarry, safety and timings of some of the acitivities themselves.
Staff were incredibly helpful to ensure we could coordinate supervising our under 18s, not only on the phone prior to booking but also upon arrival and enabling us to attend our booked activities in a timely manner so we were able to do 4 activities between us and leave in good time before a 6 hour drive home.
So grateful for the help and coordination of their super friendly staff.
Cafe and facilities nice and clean and warm. Food was lovely. Typically priced higher in an environment like this but yummy nonetheless.. more nutricious than the golden arches and definitely tastes better.
Make sure you are kitted out for the typical weather of all seasons in one day and you will have an absolute blast. Greatest thanks to the ladies on reception and ever friendly Phil in the briefings. Fab atmosphere. Highly recommended 👌
Awesome experience 100%
I had a stag weekend for my best mate at zipworld the caverns and it was amazing never done anything like it would definately recommend it to anyone who is up for something that will get your heart rate going don’t advise doing it on 0hrs sleep and hungover though😂
Park up top only too be sent back down
Park up top only too be sent back down. Very disorganised. Cafe awful
Brilliant and all the staff were very friendly.
Brilliant and very friendly staff, especially a lady called Denise, so helpful and all with a lovely smile, she went above and beyond the call of duty, thank you Denise. The Zip wire was fun and the safety checks, and there where many appeared very efficient, the sun shone and it was a great experience, thank you Zip World

Should be renamed, try and run around on some damp sweaty nets which are not really that bouncy whilst in a claggy gloomy cave with piped cheesy music.
The slides are made of metal, and because of the moisture are not slippy at all, even with the damp sacks they provide. Kids seemed to enjoy it for half an hr or so, but it is definatly not for adults. Adults are too heavy for the nets, you will not acheive any air (I weigh 13st) They insist kids under 14 are accompanied by an adult (at an extra £25! per adult) Adult weights should not be on these nets as they can cause quite a lot of pain to kids when they clatter into them, as we found out to our childrens expense when randoms fell into them, by accident of course they didnt mean to, but it still causes pain and tears.
Incredeibly expensive for what you get.
£20 per child, £25 per adult.
We will not be going again.
Top tip, if you have your own helmet take that instead of wearing the smelly stinking of old sweat makes you heave helmets they provide.
