Professional service
Have used Natalie and her team a few times now, not recently but wouldn’t hesitate to use again.
I felt like I was in safe hands
Staff that knew what they were doing and regular updates along the way (without me having to chase). Couldn’t really ask for more. I have no intention of moving any time soon but will continue to recommend Aconveyancing to family and friends.
What a great service from start to…
What a great service from start to finish. Communication was great. Transaction went through smoothly and quicker than expected. If my lawyer was ever not available I was able to speak to a member of the team that was always able to assist. All extremely friendly and efficient. I was kept up to date at every stage.
Highly recommend.
Amazing service
Hi, full 5 stars. Ourr transaction had many problems, we always were able to get a responce or speak to our solicitor at Aconveyancing. Amazing service, thank you to all the excellent staff.
Amazing service from start to finish
Amazing service from start to finish! My assigned solicitor was superb and always available for any questions and help that I needed I couldn’t recommend Aconveyancing any higher if I could give 6 stars I would !

we’ve only just started our journey with this company, as first time buyers they have already made the process super easy! it’s a very confusing process for us, they broke it down and we’re happy to answer any questions no matter how ‘stupid’ they sound. so so happy our finaicial advisor recommended us to you guys
Efficiency and good work ethics
Efficiency and good work ethics . Very friendly and helpful throughout the whole moving process
Really helpful
Really helpful, always free to answer queries. Jess and Natalie were really helpful
Thoroughly helpful and responsive
I've only just started my journey, but Jessica has been thoroughly helpful and very responsive!
We were guided to this firm by our…
We were guided to this firm by our estate agent and were allocated Amy Earl as our conveyancer
As older clients we were horrified to find that we have sold and bought properties without actually seeing a single person or a single piece of paper , EVERY single thing was done either by phone , email or online links which as slightly older clients is very difficult and we often had to seek help from younger people as we didn’t have a clue how to do something’s.
There was no updates unless we rang , and even then there was never anyone available and were promised a call back . I think if I heard the line “we are waiting for a reply to an email” one my time my head would explode.
We felt we could not get an answer to a question, it was always evaded. Ours turned into a very long process ( 20 weeks ) with what felt like one feeble excuse after another but never really any plausible explanation. The whole process was very stressful and at the end taken right to the wire with exchange and completion happening simultaneously. We even had to ring at the end of the day as everyone in the chain had received their funds , but not us
We could not honestly recommend this firm as we had a terrible experience with them
A month down the line and no one even offered us the opportunity to review their performance
Currently using AConveyancing in…
Currently using AConveyancing in Shirley for a sale and purchase. So far an awful experience. Our solicitor only sends information after being chased for it. Being constantly lied to and when they are caught out they make up an excuse "Oh it's here under a load of paperwork" "Oh it's just not been uploaded onto the system"
If your Solicitor is on annual leave or just not in for a few days then nothing happens to your case. They constantly say they're awaiting queries coming back, but when you ask what they are they magically find a different reason.
A Manager told me she would contact me, but just didn't.
If I could start this process again I would choose anyone else.
Very Slow, Do not Respond Unless you Escalate to Directors
Summary
Pros - If you escalate to directors and become an angry, frustrated consumer, they might speed up
Cons
1. Poor/No communication
2. Rude Lawyers who will dismiss you and be aggressive
3. Very Slow. Took almost five months when they agreed 60 days for completion. Delay was all on AConveyancing.
4. Refused to give completion contracts when requested
Onboarding
Was asked to fill out an onboarding questionnaire and upload documents which is all well and good. It would help us track things better and keep us up to date on progress. Ended up being a waste of time as the portal was never updated. The onboarding team was efficient however and generally answered questions/queries quickly. At this stage things were looking positive.
Context
We initially had an offer accepted on a property which feel through. We were gutted as we had gotten to the stage of exchanging contracts before the sellers pulled out. We had completed all the checks (identity, money laundering, etc) with AConveyancing. About two weeks later and luckily enough, we found another property and put in a bid. We decided to stay with AConveyancing considering they already had all our details and hopefully would speed up the process. We confirmed with them that this would be the case as well so we didn't guess. Our purchase agreement with the vendor stated that we would be ready to complete in 60 days to which AConveyancing agreed to meet. We were purchasing from a developer so you can bet they were keen to sell and there would be no delays from their side. As soon as AConvenyancing were appointed, things go downhill.
First Assigned Lawyer
No introduction or anything, just radio silence. I chased for days only to be told a week later that my case was incorrectly assigned to the lawyer.
Second Lawyer Assigned
Email introduction sent but no call or request for anything. I called multiple times (calls never returned), I emailed and no responses. The search pack was ordered four weeks post assignment despite them saying this would be done quickly. This actually only happened when I lost my cool and insisted on speaking to my assigned lawyer. When I spoke to her she was rude and implied that I had wasted her time. This has now taken over half the total amount of time agreed for completion.
Then I was told two weeks later that I would need to do money laundering checks again. This would take another four weeks to complete. Again throughout this time I am calling and emailing with minimal response or commitment from my assigned solicitor. They had all the details. The deposit amount was the same, from the same accounts. At this point I escalate to the directors who seemed helpful. As soon as they got involved the process sped up.
Completion Statement
Now all checks are done again and I am waiting to exchange. and have a completion statement generated. This takes another three weeks. In this time, the developers are getting frustrated. I had been frustrated since the first week. Finally completion statement is done but had the wrong information (purchase price on the doc was higher than we agreed). Due diligence checks saved us
After Completion (Icing on the Cake)
I asked for the contracts to be sent to me as proof of address. I was refused this. Apparently they don't give this as it has the seller details on it. Quite ridiculous. To be fair, it was the receptionist that said this after putting me on hold to speak to a lawyer to confirm. So sounded like this was a policy. This was rectified when I emailed the lawyer directly
Generally incompetent
Onboarding process with the online dashboard is unnecessarily complicated, full of mistakes and took numerous calls and emails to get it right.
Our first case manager was let go, nobody told us, we were emailing for over a week hoping for a reply from her. Took me to call up to then be told we've been allocated a new conveyancer. The new conveyancer (also a Director) seemed to be out of office more often than not, then went on holiday, then was off for JD. Meaning we were passed onto a third conveyancer. No consistency, no handover.
Communication throughout the company and from start to finish in the process is slow and full of mistakes. They clearly have taken on too much work without increasing the resource to manage it effectively.
No urgency at any stage of the process. You feel unimportant to them.
We were selling two properties using them. The first fell through 3 days prior to completion. Unnecessary delays from Aconveyancing (as well as incompetence from the Estate Agents!) in part led to this. The second property sale eventually went through 4 months late. - the process took 8 months. Again mistakes and incompetence from Aconveyancing on both our side and the buyers side led to this delay.
I would not be surprised if a lot more 1 star reviews come in over the next weeks/months.
Avoid!!
After what I thought was initially a good service from this company it went downhill big time! I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone after the awful experience I’ve had with them. It took nearly a year of me phoning them to try to sort a problem out with management company . They just do not read emails or reply to queries . I had to constantly phone and sort things out which should have been their job . So unprofessional and incompetent. Avoid A Conyancing Bromsgrove and go elsewhere .
Go elsewhere!
We had quite a bad experience with Aconveyancing.
We finally had an offer accepted on on a property in June 2023.
We chose Aconveyancing from recommendations and reading the reviews.
Unfortunately the service we received was not very good.
Over the course of 8 weeks we had 4 different solicitors working on our case, every time they would change they appeared to be playing catch up.
We'd be asked for the same information over and over and when it came nearer to completion our requests were not put forward correctly. This lead to extreme confusion and unwanted stress.
I've not given a 1 star as I was always spoke to politely and I believe a lot of the issues could be down to the team being short staffed in someway.
The other reason is that their no completion no fee came in handy when we needed to pull out of the sale.
Overall I'd recommend looking elsewhere for a conveyancer.
Responsive Team but Terrible Barclays
The team were responsive, helpful and genuine. They tried very hard to get us the conveyancing proceeds from our property sale quickly. But, and this was the problem, Barclays, whom they bank with held our money for a random fraud check. Despite many phone calls by us to Aconveyancing and intervention by the company and the company's Barclays Bank Manager to the Barclays fraud team, our money was not released to us until over two weeks after the sale completion! We would certainly use Aconveyancing again, providing they don't deal with Barclays. It would be just too stressful risking another Barclays debacle.
Thank you so much to Leah and the team
Thank you so much to Leah and the team. I instructed you in the sale of a shared ownership property and this turned out to be more complex than anticipated.
Leah was quick to identify an issue caused by the previous solicitor at time of purchase. Her and the team worked hard to get this resolved with land registry as soon as they were able to..
I was kept updated, calls or emails will respond and the service was absolutely fantastic.
Can’t wait to instruct on my next purchase.
Aconveyancing are brilliant
Aconveyancing are brilliant. They have done a number of conveyancing transactions for me and I've been very impressed every time.
Horrendous company
Horrendous company, DO NOT USE!!!
Between having to do their job for them, I have faced delays after delays and when I have chased them for updates I hear nothing back or I get ‘out of office’ replies. They are a joke they only time I hear from them is when they are chasing me for money. My buyer is on the brink of pulling out which will leave me having to pull out of my purchase all down to this waste of space solicitors firm!!!

Mistake after mistake.
Mistake after mistake followed by blunt email saying they could not do the work in time therefore they could not act for me.
Saying sorry might have softened the blow.
