Go away from this!!! They stole my money two times!!!!!!!!!

Update - I have been contacted by the customer service team and offered my money back! Scott has been very helpful. I am changing my review to reflect this.

I appreciate how quickly they handled my issue. The staff was friendly and professional throughout the process.

Stay away from this society. Complete SCAM and steal We NEVER SUBSCrIBE an Abonement. Now , they steal 2X 64 EURO from my account . What a way to steal money from peoples ! Take care and stay away.

EDIT TO ADD: Do not believe the 4-5* ratings. The company refuses to issue refunds until you leave a positive review. Their rating system is fraudulent.

I followed a link on TikTok to a website called Marquee Clothing that was advertising an item for £9.99. On the checkout page, I filled out my banking and address details, double checked the order summary which made no indication that anything was amiss, and proceeded with the order. Instead of receiving an order confirmation email, I received an email confirming a subscription to this Adventure Activities website.

I immediately contacted their customer service rep who initially refused to issue a refund because according to them, I had consented to their subscription service. To be clear, I consented to no such thing. I was under the impression that I was purchasing a physical item that would be delivered to my home address from a website that showed no affiliation whatsoever with Adventure Activities. However, eventually the CS rep agreed to refund the £9.99 subscription cost. When I asked about cancelling my account with them, I was told there would be a further charge of £7.60 which was debited from my account before I could agree to paying.

After leaving a review on TrustPilot, I was contacted by “Scott” who said he would issue a refund for the £7.60 but only if I’d amend my TrustPilot star rating and edit my review to reflect that they’d resolved the issue with me.

I have received a refund for £7.60, however the I still haven’t received the original £9.99 refund they claim to have issued to me on June 1st. In fact, upon checking my bank statement more thoroughly, I noticed it was actually two separate charges - one for £8.53 and one for £1.71, which totals £10.24 rather than £9.99.

I do not believe this is a legitimate business whatsoever. If their service was legal and above board they’d be advertising and promoting it, not tricking people into potentially long term and very expensive subscriptions they do not want by false advertising and deliberate lack of transparency.

Have found debits on my credit card to this company, have never dealt with them, cannot find out anything about them. Cc has been in my possession and hasn’t been used in weeks so how have this company made two debits within 3 days of each other, have contacted my bank to pursue.

Update: Have been contacted by Scott from Adventure activities club who has assured me that he will issue a full refund so with that assurance I have modified my rating

We had opened an account, actually without much thought. In retrospect we regretted. Message sent to support and they have resolved this and our membership has been cancelled and the first payment will be refunded.

I agree that this is SCAM and theft.
I do not know how this began, but I am completely sure I never applied for a membership of anything like Adventureactivities and never would.
Nevertheless these people have been able to withdraw 64,95€ twice a month since november. This means they have stolen 714,45 EUROS from my account.
I recommend this organisation to repay every cent and recommend that this happens now.
You who read this please be careful if you see this firm anywhere and stay far away from them.

They reached out to me to today about my cancellation

This is a scam in day light! No idea how I subscribed, to start with. Then, their chat service is in complete denial. They refused to reimburse me. Then I decided to try and order something. Multiple orders made and everything says out of stock AFTER I made the order. So, forced me into subscription unknowingly AND I can’t use the credit because everything is Out Of Stock! Get me my money back!!

Update: Customer support has reached out promptly to me to address the issue and has offered to resolve it. The problem has been solved. Look forward to receiving the full refund.
