Worst service

Worst service. They are not at all on time. We get a message that waste will be collected but weeks pass by but still waste will be in front of your house. They don’t even send you the rescheduling date.

Well after my last review a couple of weeks ago, I am still waiting fory glass bin to be collected. I actually managed to get thru on the phone and was given today's date for glass bin collection. As I received no text last night, I'll be totally gobsmacked if it's actually collected. One star is waaay to generous for Bird na Mona

Total crap, AVOID!!!!

Avoid this usuless company at all costs. Glass bin overdue 2 weeks and no response from AES. Today they pick my recycling bin and left it full. Tried to ring them but impossible to get them answer the phone. Missed collections are quite constant thing, customer service useless - total crap.

No replies to any communications

Since Bord na Mona rebrand, quality has dropped. You used to get a reply to queries now, mine as well be text no reply[at]bnm.ie. Worse they fail to lift you one week, then hit you with an over weight charge. Complaining not possible as guess what they never reply.

Not even worth 1 star if there was a minus I would put that since change over my food bin collected waste not collected even though there on same day recycling not collected this week and again waste collected food bin not paid 40 euro in a month absolute disgrace got no were on phone said they will call back Monday we will see.

Never collected the compost bin

Never collected the compost bin. Never responded to emails. Called twice a month for six months and the issue was still not resolved. Will be changing company once the contract is up.

The worst company I’ve ever dealt with

The worst company I’ve ever dealt with, have been a customer for many years, all of a sudden my bin prices have gone up twice within two months and my bins are not being collected since we moved, all I get is sorry you can leave extra rubbish with next collection but that doesn’t get collected either. Trying to cancel is a nightmare they won’t collect bins despite many promises

Customer service is non existent

Customer service is non existent. Rang and emailed on three seperate occasions to query why my bins have not been collected as agreed. On all three occasions the phone call was not answered and emails were never replied to. Will be moving service provider shortly.

Awful way to run a business !!!To be honest I never had a problem with…

To be honest I never had a problem with Aes until now . Our side gates were damaged by someone trying to get a Cherry picker in that was too wide resulting in gate fittings getting damaged..resulting in gate having to be taken tied up for safety and security reasons. As my bin had to go out on Monday night I had to get the neighbours in to help me with the gate ...only to find on Tuesday morning my bin still full and placed in the middle of the footpath. Customer service wasnt very helpful ! We are OAPs with health issues and limited income and now with a full bin.
It is an awful way to run a business its symbolic of everything in this country now.

Increase price plan based on weight of the bins, only reason why they won't collect the bins

I've come to realise the reasons why AES empty the bins when they feel like it, the heavier the bin, the higher the price. Started out with these last year on €250 annual price plan. Since the beginning of this year the bins were collected sporadically regardless of making weekly payments. Unanswered emails, incorrect name on my account, unable to access the account with the details they provided, constantly requesting a payzone card . Due to the sporadic decisions to empty the bins whenever they felt like it, bins weighing a tonne, this year's price plan has increased to €330 as it now based on the weigh of the bins. This is the only reason why AES are providing an awful service, it's done deliberately so they can increase price plans. If anyone knows where these complaints can be highlighted, please advise.

Absolutely horrendous company to deal…

Absolutely horrendous company to deal with. I dont understand why they have customer service as not one of their staff can help or return phone calls. Had the misfortune on one of my many phone calls to speak to a very rude Patrick. Waiting 6 weeks now for bins full of rubbish to be collected and noone cares enough to return a call or sort it out.

Incompetent, poor customer service, arrogant

As previous review. Bins not collected while account sufficient in credit, than they say they will both bins next collection & then don’t collect any of them?! Called several times, always get someone who doesn’t have a clue and if asked to be called back by senior they say we will but you never hear back. This most be one of the most unprofessional, incompetent companies and if not, a serious contender for that position. Apparently now under management of bord na mona just to guarantee that it will probably be even worse, if that’s possible. In brief, mismanaged, poor to non existent customer service (having someone who doesn’t have a clue answering a call is not customer service) and plain arrogant by making their mistakes our problem. AVOID AVOID!!

Stay away from this company

This is a disaster of a company. There seems to be no communication within and the staff don’t know what’s going on but I don’t blame them as I don’t think there is any comms in there.

I have been onto AES now about 6 times to get the old bins collected as I moved as they have been a nightmare from day one ( was advised 3 weeks for the bins to be collected and now we’re going into the 6th week) .

Even the bin men don’t care as there rough with the bins and just leave the bins anywhere at all ( also witnessed one of these lads spilling rubbish out of the bin in an estate and didn’t even bother to pick it up which I reported - probably nothing done) .

I’ve had more missed collections this year that would drive a man mad.

Avoid this company - useless and non professional at all.

Avoid this company,awfull service, I cancelled my account as I had bin after bin not collected, even at that I'm still waiting on them to collect their bins as I'm no longer a customer thank god.

Terrible service

Terrible service. Always paid week by week! And they stopped collecting my bins. I got mad and stopped paying them for like two weeks as I received no help from them. The bins were been collected again and everything went okay until they updated there website and out of the blue I ended up with a bill of roughly €400. No way I owed that!! It was like only €10 week. I rang and the customer care person named Megan said there’s nothing she can do , so I went about closing the account but they wanted me to pay €50 up front and €20 after that a week. I’m not paying the €20 a week. I’m not with AES anymore and your company won’t get that ridiculous price out of me as I do not owe ye that!! I would recommend people to avoid this company.

I and many people only tend to leave a review when something goes bad. I had a missed collection, was not happy but finally Patrick from CS got me sorted.
I give it 4 stars for now but will revise after collection tomorrow and if all goes well will change it to 5*.

They have absolutely no respect for…

They have absolutely no respect for their customers. Didn't take our recycling bin. I called 3 times, wrote emails, they never called back. I'll take all my rubbish bags and leave them in the Aes office.
