We needed someone to attend our property asap due to a leak/escape of water going through the office ceiling. After ringing numerous plumbers Alford Plumbing and Heating were the only company who actually went out of their way to send someone to me within the week. They traced the leak and a new shower pump was replaced soon afterwards. Since then I have been in regular contact with Anja at Alfords. She is always a delight to talk to, very professional and clearly knows what she is talking about so you are in safe hands with this company. This week we have had a second leak and again a prompt service with the leak being located by a very professional and friendly plumber. This time the shower needs replacing and they are going out of their way to get this done within the next 2 or 3 weeks. This kind of exemplary service helps to take away the stress of a situation which would otherwise be an absolute nightmare. We are very grateful to Anja and her team at Alford Plumbing and Heating

They arrived when they said they would, were efficient, extremely polite and very tidy. They sorted out the problems and also advised after doing a water pressure assessment. We are very pleased and would use the firm again.

Alford fitted my boiler 2 years ago and I have chosen them to service it since. Email reminders from the admin team are a great help and they let you know when the engineer is on the way to complete the service, so you don't have to stay in all day waiting.

Very friendly and efficient service. We have an annual reminder for our boiler service and just phone for an appointment. The engineer sends a message when he is on his way, arrives on time, services the boiler and leaves everything clean and tidy and always explains what he has done. Thankyou

They were punctual, polite, clean and tidy. Had several plumbers which specialized in new boiler, radiators which had to be altered and putting in new shower unit.
Certainly different from British Gas who gave be a lot of Bull and untruths.

On their recommendation I contacted Worcester who replaced a major component under guarantee. Alford then came again to fit the new flue. I am grateful to have such a reliable local service.

We recently had our annual plumbing and immersion heater service carried out by Alford Plumbing. Their engineer was on time, friendly, helpful and efficient - just as we’ve come to expect from Alford over the years. We have used them for maintenance, replacements and a complete bathroom refit, and their service and workmanship has always been first class., and their prices fair. What made the experience great was the fact that, it was so thoroughly carried out, all the radiators were bled, and checked that there were working.
Mo who carried out the boiler service, was happy to answer questions, he worked in a clean and efficient way.

Getting an appointment is very straightforward and you are kept informed on timings. The engineers are very professional and clean and tidy. Absolutely professional , prompt and thorough service, the updates on ETA are so useful for busy people too as it meant i didnt have to wait around all morning or afternoon for the engineer to arrive, will definitely use again and highly reccomend.

Tyler was a pleasant polite young man who was knowledgeable we did have a slight leak in one of the connecting pipes but he very kindly came back same day to fix it would recommend this company.
