These guys are a breath of fresh air.
Having been let down by other plumbers who promised to turn up and ultimately let us down after messing us about and others who were only interested in quoting for extra work we had not requested, and ultimately wasn't necessary, Glen , and his guys have restored our faith in the trades.
We have used them a number of times now and found them to be knowledgeable, polite , reliable and friendly.
Pricing is transparent and fair for the great service and expertise you get.

Woke to a blocked outside drain. Called ALK and they were round within the hour and sorted the problem within 30 minutes. Great service.

Called around 8:45 am and they arrived within 30 minutes. Found out exactly what the problem was and resolved it very quickly. Fantastic service, would definitely recommend.

Glen and his team were fantastic, had a leak on a weekend and within a few hours it was stopped. All the repair works were carried out, done to a great standard and at really fair prices. Everyone who worked on it was polite and tidy and I'd happily use them again.

Pleasant to deal with on initial phone call, came out within an hour, which they said they would do.
Very professional, and quick job, transparent on costs and ended with some useful tips .
What more could you want.
I don't want my drain blocked again but if it happens they will be my first port of call.

Brilliant response from ALK today. My elderly parents had a leaking tap which was causing HUGE stress for them. Not an emergency! But Glenn attended in less than an hour, fixed the problem and relieved their anxiety. Great service.

Reported a toilet cistern issue at 9am on a Sunday morning. Glen arrived the same morning (this was Bank Holiday weekend) and remedied the issue explaining exactly what was wrong and what he had done. Very friendly, very efficient service, wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I recently contacted ALK after I had a bad experience with an online plumber.. ALK sent out an amazing guy , who resolved the problem and undid the previous cowboys bodge.
Could not recommend ALK highly enough. And they price was very reasonable. 5 stars

Glen and team replaced a toilet and attended to our drains. Neat workers who turned up when they said they would, responded promptly, kept us advised and did a thorough job. Also advised, without any pressure, about other plumbing/heating work I asked about.

Unblocked a toilet and fitted new one a few days later. Brilliant job really satisfied. Thank you will recommend.

Had an emergency today with a blocked drain outside. This caused the toilet to block and caused a number of other issues. Rang ALK Plumbing they were here within half an hour and sorted the problem. Excellent service and e wee I’ll be definitely using again.

Had an emergency with an old disused swimming pool which suddenly started filling up with water. Glen arrived within an hour, had parts on his van which made the repair job quicker (no need to go to plumber's merchant half a hour away). Very quick, very efficient. Cannot recommend highly enough.
