Glen was upfront with the cost, arrived promptly and talked through the planned work. Helpful when dealing with a blocked waste pipe and thankfully all fixed within a couple of hours.

Awesome company. Glen was very knowledgeable and genuinely wanted to help. The issue required a complete rebuild of the waste plumbing, which they carried out very well. The quality of the work was very high and they left everything clean and tidy when finished. One of the best tradesman I’ve encountered in a long time.

Great for emergencies. We had a burst tap at 4:00 am and were unable to switch water off from valve. Water flooding the ceilings - very scary but plumber responded very quickly and was able to bypass the issue with valve. Came back next day at cheaper rate times to fix tap. All good. Pleasant & professional service.

Had an issue with a blocked drain (outside my house) on a bank holiday Monday. Terrible situation as toilets didn’t flush properly anymore and didn’t want to wait as it seemed to get worse by the hour. Phoned 10-15 companies but no one could send someone out to right away, everyone said they can only attend the next day. Finally phoned ALK, friendly guy answered the phone and took the details, drainage engineer showed up 40 mins later and resolved within 20 mins. Great team, would use them again and highly recommend them!

Excellent service! Arrived in about 20mins and sorted my bathroom leak quickly. Explained everything as he worked and didn’t try to drag out the job unnecessarily. I would definitely recommend this friendly efficient service.

ALK are responsive and trustworthy in delivering what they say they will. Our plumber arrived at the end of his already full day and went the extra mile to fix the broken shower pump late in the evening, rather than come back another day. This was particularly valuable given this job was for my elderly father who lives 30 miles from me. ALK are realistic and offer a practical solution in a timely way. The service is very good and reflected in the price you pay, valuing all those involved in rectifying the problem.

Half hour after initial call Glen arrived. Determined the problem and had it all running smoothly within an hour. Great service and would thoroughly recommend them to all.
Any problems in the future, ALK will be my first port of call.

Has a major leak under the house. Glen took on the job, got on it asap, and had it all done to a great standard. Prepared the necessary invoices for my insurance company and charged exactly what he said it would cost. Very polite and courteous and kept me up to date all along the way. Highly recommend.

After contacting a different plumber (who after visiting gave us the run around) we found ALK Plumbing and Drainage were quick, helpful and professional. We had an unusual central heating system, left over from days gone by on Langdon Hills Heating System, but ALK took all of our needs into account and gave us control of each individual radiator. I can’t thank them enough. I would recommend them as they do their homework and are helpful and friendly.

After finding we had no hot water and boiler was firing up, panic set in called ALK Toby came within the hour job done!
All sorted very grateful quick and friendly.

During house renovations we cracked a very old radiator pipe which caused a leak, called ALK emergency plumbers and Glenn was round within 20 minutes, fixed the leak and helped remove the radiator. Very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. We also had a leaking toilet which Ricky fixed. They then completely overhauled our heating system, fitting all new radiators and pipes throughout the house. Could not be happier with the work they completed, they understood our situation and came out really quickly to fit everything, having it done in 1.5 days. Then came back and fixed a faulty valve a few weeks later. Glenn and Ricky have been fantastic and we are so happy with their work. Would not hesitate to recommend ALK.

Had a leaking boiler so gave them a call. The guy turned up with 15 minutes. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

Fixed the issue quickly and gave me very helpful advice.

Cannot recommend Glen and his team enough. After coming home to a freezing cold house and dripping water tank valve, Glen arrived in 40mins at 1am. Valve replaced and everything was sorted and working again in under an hour. Direct Line Insurers couldn’t get anyone to me for 7 hours! Friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Would not hesitate to use them again. 5 star service.
