Not even worth one star

Not even worth one star. Rude staff. Rude driver. Money making scammers. Left phone in car. Got charged an extra 10 pounds to pick it up. I booked taxi for 20 minutes time clearly stating I wasn't available until 20 minutes. Taxi driver arrived 10 minutes early and then charged me the extra time to wait altho I clearly stated when booking that I wouldn't be home for 20 minutes so could I book the taxi for 20 minutes time

Booked a fixed cab

Booked a fixed cab! And a taxi arrived which I initially thought was my cab pretended to be said fixed cab which proceeded to charge me extra money so I want a refund! And I’m sorry to the real taxi I ordered from! I got lied and ripped off

No point booking in advance - no guarantee you will get a cab

Booked a cab on the online app at 08.00 for a 18.45 pick up same day.
No car arrived. When I called to see where the cab was I was told it was busy and booking in advance made no difference, there was no guarantee I would get a cab. The operator couldn't tell me if a car had been dispatched, nor could I be told roughly how long the wait was. In short, if you need to get somewhere for a certain time don't rely on United Taxis. No point booking in advance - to quote the operator 'booking in advance doesn't guarantee a car'.

Booked a journey to Bournemourh airport…

Booked a journey to Bournemourh airport , and return.
Was sent a link to arrange payment, did this and this was confirmed by my bank.
After a few days I was concerned that payment had not been processed and phoned them, was assured that the journeys were booked.
At 5.00 am,pickup for a 7 am flight....no taxi, phoned United and was told by a lady that they were trying to contact the driver,
Phoned again at 5.12 am, and was informed by a foreign " gentleman" that payment had NOT been made , and no taxi was coming, and he would send me another link to enable me to pay.....Thanks to an excellent neighbour we eventually got to the airport with minutes to spare.
I am currently in Majorca and still waiting for the link !
Abysmal if not non existent customer service. Horrible Mickey Mouse outfit. AVOID !

Awful experience

My family visited us from Hungary. 3 grown-ups, 1 teenager, 1 kid, 1 baby. They had to go to the airport on Tuesday morning, so we went to the taxi office on Wednesday, to book a big cab for them. The lady was super nice, but her microphone was broken, so we hardly understand each other. Finally, she just came out behind the window, to speak normally. We booked one larger taxi for £26.20. Thursday morning between 5:45 am -6:00 am.
The next morning the taxi driver called me, at 5:40 am, that he is at the address. I asked 5 minutes from him. There was no taxi on the street. 2 minutes later I got a text that the driver is unable to find the address Grosvenor Gardens 62... I was shocked as the address was Grosvenor Gardens 6. I told to the lady in the office several times, and also gave the correct postcode.
I quickly called the United taxi office to make the mistake right. I checked the taxi on the tracking map, it was standing next to Boscombe Aldi, so 2 minutes away from the right address. So I called them, to ask the driver to go to the right place.
A lady picked up the phone, with not good English. I told her the situation and ask her to act quickly, as they need to be at the airport in time. When I asked her to call the big taxi to go to the right address, she started to yell at me in an unacceptable, manner! She repeated herself many times and asked the same question (how many people and what about the luggage?) Even though I tried to answer, she keeps yelling and asking the questions again. She told me that the big taxi is not available for us anymore, and she will send 2 normal taxis, and they need to pay double the price. As she was so rude, my husband take the phone over and talked with her, to send the 2 taxis, then, because they have to go to the airport. She can't explain how is possible that our booked taxi is not available to go to the right place, just 2 minutes after it should arrive at Grosvenor Gardens 6, and should be on the way to the airport.
She sent the two taxis. They arrived, and I got a call they are in front of the house. My family was on their way to the airport. 6 minutes later I received an other than a call from the big taxi, that he is at the address. What a mess!!!???
The black soda taxi driver who took my 7-year-old niece, a 1-year-old baby, and my sister, was rude! He rolled his eyes, not saying hello, and when they arrived, he put their backpacks in a puddle. Then so hurried to leave, he almost hit my 7-year-old niece!!!! The other driver was ok. They asked two times for £26.20 but refused to give invoices!!!!
I am so disappointed, and angry! Is outrageous! Never use their service again! Their customer service is unacceptable too! A woman who is yelling with the customer?! I can't find the words. Not recommended to use them at any time.

Second car was rude and called me a lier saying I had not booked it to where I wanted to go. United spoke to him on my phone and told him to take me where I wanted as I was paying. He asked us to get out the car and charged 15 pounds. His car was grey Toyota reg HD18 DXL

Well if I could have given zero I would…

Well if I could have given zero I would have. Like many people last night, we prebooked a taxi to pick us up after seeing Michael Buble at Chewton Glen. Taxi was booked for 10.30pm. Tried calling United several times but clearly they don't have any staff to answer the phones aswell as not having enough drivers. At 11.40pm still no sign of our taxi. There were United taxis coming in but obviously other people had lost the will to live waiting for theirs and decided to walk. This meant empty taxis just left the site because if your name isn't on the booking they won't take anyone else. United, you are a disgrace. If you can't honour the bookings, don't take them. Finally at 11.50pm a taxi came for someone who had already left. Literally had to beg the driver to call his office to see if he could take us as prebooked customer had gone. Shared the taxi with 2 ladies going back the same way otherwise they may well still be at Chewton Glen. £40 between the 4 of us to get back. Your actions display an arrogant contempt for your once loyal customers and new ones. I imagine your business will now suffer as a result.

Trust me, Use a different company !

DONT BOTHER

DONT BOTHER, just start walking. Pre booked a taxi to come at 11pm no one turned up, called at 11.10pm and was told they was waiting for a driver to become free, call back at 11.30pm and was told the cab was outside at 11.14pm. It was not!!!! No msg received no phone call. All rasss lies

Will NEVER us this Company again -mid…

Will NEVER us this Company again -mid April booked a Taxi for a journey to Bristol Airport for the 22nd June
Range the Office 2 days to confirm and although the request was for 7 30 am they had recorded 7 3O pm Waited on the pavement for the 7 30 a m pick up which did not happen rang the Office to be told by a lady there they were unable to find a Driver they only had over 2 months notice for this journey! However 20 minutes later a Driver did turn up Car very old had no petrol and was lucky was told as it only called into the Office by chance. Made the flight by 5 minutes. Very unreliable in my view how different from the old Company, 2 weeks ago I wrote to the Office saying what had did happen - needless to say no reply. They obviously do not care for their customers - hope they still have some. My neighbor has told me the taxi they booked for a Doctor s appointment never showed. Never again the worst experience ever

Called a taxi to pick us up after a festival at 5.30pm for an 11pm pick up. Got to 11.10 and we called they said 10 minutes waited another 10 minutes and called again they said another 10 minutes...a few hours later havent heard back from them so have ended up walking 40 minutes to get to where we wanted to go. Fuming just tell us the truth then we wouldn't waited!?

Extremely disappointed

Extremely disappointed. This company took over Xch Radio Cabs and now they can not be relied upon. This evening, left outside on my own having booked them. No car turned up, so I called to find out when they’d be there. They said the driver had already been and i was not there. Absolute lie, I was outside and I had none of the usual calls to say your taxi is on it’s way, your taxi has arrived etc. If you’re too busy, tell me and I can sort it out - don’t leave people in a vulnerable situation.

SCAMMERS

Beware of the phone scam they're drivers are running! People leave phones in taxis all the time. These low lives have capitalised though. Here is what they're doing. Someone leaves their phone in one of there taxis, when the owner realises and calls United, they'll tell you 'yes the driver has you're phone and will drop it off when they're back on duty'.. you think it's safe so you don't kill the phone remotely.. they'll keep you waiting and waiting for the driver to drop it off. . This gives them time to hack and/or sell your phone on. After a couple of days they'll tell you they'd made a mistake and got your phone mixed up with someone else's. If it's cheaper/older phone you might get it back. guess the scam wouldn't work so well if no phones at all were returned!! Beware.. or simply don't use United

Rubbish we have…

Over the last four weeks or so we have had taxis running up at least 20 to 30 minutes late after being told we need only wait 15 mins. Continuously phoning back asking where taxi is to be told another 5 minutes then still waiting another 15 mins. This happens sll the time. Would rather they be honest and give us a true waiting time instead of telling lies. 50 pound a week I spend with these. Not any more.

An Excellent Employee as she Navigates in Company to Maximize Profits, even denying A Total Mobility Card holder a Taxi as they are Unproductive half Price taersi fare. Deliberately causing conversary trouble to deny me a taxi. My money to their Competition.
